  1. Savage ? Haha true though... I completely agree with everything expressed in that article. Definitely worth the read... First I've heard from any of the players about the injury. Smitty hit it right on the head as well about naysayers who have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to injuries.
  2. Don't worry. I've fully braced myself for carnage.
  3. You running a 4-3 or a 3-4?
  4. I heavily considered taking him at my pick, but my offense lacked some firepower so I decided to invest in a good RB.
  5. Thank you! I wanted a back with receiving ability because Philip Rivers has thrived with certain guys like that. He has a little bit of a cleaner record of health than a few other guys I was considering waiting till next round to target.
  6. With the 418th pick in the 2016 Draft a Franchise, Team Ramrod selects, Lesean McCoy, HB
  7. Last year seemed really bad for injuries all around the league. Every team seemingly lost at at least one star for the year. Our Ravens lost about 4 lol
  8. Sounds good
  9. We might be in for the whole 12 hours here... @Tru11 has been offline since Thursday
  10. Yeah I read that as well... They need him to stay in structure for Mariota to help him develop. With a solid vet like Rivers in place, he can be allowed to run a lot more option routes, not quite freelancing but it still provides structure without losing the creative-play ability
  11. Well with several WRs coming off the board I figure I'll take a shifty guy like Kendall Wright now. He can be a deep threat and he'll partner with Phil Rivers to beat you underneath with a keen ability to rack up YAC... I think the reason he fell this far this year is due to a pretty rough 2015 season hampered by knee injuries and back injuries. He's good to go for 2016 and I expect a bounce-back year for him.
  12. With the 415th pick in the 2016 Draft a Franchise, Team Ramrod selects... Kendall Wright, WR
  13. Yeah he's here... just moving to a desktop to be able to post the all-important picture
  14. Yep he was one of the top defensive players left on my board. Only worry there is he's 29. I just need a little more youth because my whole team is about 27 or older haha
  15. This is true. But IMO I think the pattern that's popped up most in recent years is having damn good hands. This is most important for success, but usually the catching ability has to complement either route-running skills (OBJ) or superior size (Mike Evans).
  16. Edited to fix the name drop, and I completely agree. I really like this guy. I got him in the mid second in the forum mock, and he was my backup FS, due to having Jairus Byrd back there. I liked being able to let him sit for a year and learn behind a vet whose coverage skills were supreme in his day. Yet after some more thought on the subject and discussions with @-Truth- after the pick, I think I agree with him that Karl Joseph's best fit is as an all-around SS. His game translates best to playing out of the box though. He's solid in coverage and tackles with ferocity in space. He never takes a play off, and he's one hell of a competitor.
  17. Yeah that's who my mind immediately went to
  18. Well if we're talking about that guy he couldn't tackle OR cover. After this year, if he still doesn't produce I'll probably write him off as a draft bust. Calvin Pryor is in a whole different universe than him.
  19. I think I speak for all of Ravens nation when I say watching him pick us off on that last drive was pretty terrible.
  20. I agree. That's pretty funny ?
  21. Because it's true?
  22. I lost it here... Well played lol
  23. Yeah, he still had some pop on his hits but he wasn't wrapping up as he should have been. Yet I do think it's easier to fix bad tackling technique than it is to improve coverage.
  24. I edited the post to expound on my reasoning... I have Eric Weddle
  25. In reference to Vaccaro, this is what I eventually decided and I took Calvin Pryor a lot earlier. Due to his lack of supreme coverage ability you'd probably need a FS like Earl Thomas or Harrison Smith who is a true center fielder... Someone able to cover a large amount of space in a Cover 1 man scheme or Cover 3 zone. I love Eric Weddle, but he can't cover ground like he used to. I think he fits better with a running mate like Pryor instead of having a box safety that helps mostly in the run game, or manning up against a TE
