I think OJ came down to too many cooks in the kitchen and Foster must be too much of an off the field risk.
Just now, GrimCoconut said:Yeah, you said he'd be a good pick. I have gone back and forth on Humphrey. I didn't like what I saw in him against Clemson but he's got talent and he tests well athletically.
He fits perfectly in the Dean Pees defense. Put him in the Tampa 2 or Cover 3 and he'll kill it. He has so much ability. I am so happy.
Just now, mc_red23 said:Humphrey, meh. Wasn't impressed with him on the final drive of the Championship game. Williams make him look like a beginner.
Williams did that to most corners in football >.>

I like the pick. Better than many around here think.
He fits like a glove in the Dean Pees defense.
Just now, GrimCoconut said:Wow, Ozzie actually drafted a CB finally. It's Marlon Humphrey though. I know @BmoreBird22 is happy.
Who called this for many months now?
I bet this is Watson to HOU

Second round prospect
Just now, 52520Andrew said:Feeling good about yourself right now lol
I've had him as a low key pick for the Chargers for a while.
Just now, 52520Andrew said:I agree but the Ravens have their own info on him so if they take him I won't fault them
I wouldn't either. A very immense talent.
Just now, SepticeyePoe said:Would you pass on him, depending on how far he falls?
If he fell to 16, I think there's good reason he fell, so yes, depending who else was there.
Just now, SepticeyePoe said:Do you guys think Allen's shoulder is dropping him?
Yes
I really thought Davis would be a Raven... That's a BIG time risk.
Just now, rossihunter2 said:i just dont get how they could have all 3 of those guys on the field at once...
Buckner at DE, Thomas at 3T, and Armstead at 1T
Just now, Cville-Raven said:They need an edge rusher. Don't really get picking a interior guy.
Interior pressure is more disruptive and Buckner can play outside.
Just now, rossihunter2 said:i just dont get adding a 3rd interior dlineman in the first round in 3 successive years - when are they all gonna play?
Can you imagine the pass rush, though, if Armstead, Buckner, and Thomas all get going in a 4-3 front?
I think Trubisky will be very similar to Derek Carr.
Just now, rossihunter2 said:that's why they had to give up so much - because they were bidding against the browns
Exactly what I was alluding to in my last post.
What if another team wanted to go up to 2 overall? The Bears secured it the way they saw possible.
Just now, JoeyFlex5 said:im taking jamal adams here
Ditto
Just now, rmw10 said:I don't think it will end up mattering anyways. I expect him to be the 1st WR off the board.
I think he goes to SD.
1 minute ago, rmw10 said:Separation and routes. I agree with you for what it's worth. Just a gut feeling that the team wouldn't.
I think separation and routes will come with practice and I trust Engram to coach that up more than I would Hostler.
1 minute ago, rmw10 said:I'd go further and just narrow that down to Davis. I think if we are going to go WR, he's the guy. It would not shock me at all if we pass on Williams, but I don't expect him to be there anyways. Just a gut feeling more than anything.
I can't see them passing on Williams considering he brings such a different dynamic and is exactly the type of receiver Joe flourishes with. Massive catch radius, 50/50 balls, back shoulder fades. What's not to like?
9 minutes ago, rmw10 said:I'd probably lean more toward day 2 to hopefully try to solve WR, and I'd guess that's what we end up doing.
The big issue is really only Williams and Davis would do it for me personally and I think the FO views it that way too and expects neither to be there.

I take these rumors 0% serious.
Here's last year's Scouting Notebook roundup. Like 35% of it is true and most of that we as fans knew to be true.

He's a prototype press man corner. I think having Carr, Humphrey, and Jimmy on the outside will shape the defense to be very aggressive.
