So, from what I'm seeing on twitter, it looks like the Ravens are offering about $5M per year for Claiborne and he wants more like $7.5M per year.
He may be a one year prove it guy.

He'd thrive so well there. He's prototypical for that defense.
I love Tre White as a player, but I don't think he fits what Seattle wants to do.
As far as Claiborne is concerned, a few sources reported the initial interest and JLC basically confirmed it and reported other teams expect Claiborne to be a Raven.
He is NOT the only source on this.

Other than that, just a very excellent cover man that I'd highly consider if I'm the Ravens.
Just now, -Truth- said:One of my favorites as well. His patience in press coverage and the fact that he overcoming often by flipping his hips open too early remind me somewhat of Marcus Peters.
The only thing you really wish Wilson had was better long speed.
The Steelers said they'd pull their top offer for Hightower off the table if he left without a deal. The Steelers are unwilling to be leverage against the Patriots. Very interested to see how that plays out.
Andre Ellington re-signed with the Cards to play wide receiver for them.
Just now, -Truth- said:Definitely appreciate hearing that. Thank you.
Wilson is personally my DB two in the draft behind Adams, for what ever that's worth.

I can assure you he's incredibly far from Dak. As a VT alum, I saw all of his games.
Just now, allblackraven said:Hard to believe corners are your favourite players...
I know... Usually it's those punters, but I had to cave in sometime.
I really love the Wilson, White, and Humphrey picks. My three favorite players in the draft.

Yes
13 minutes ago, Filmstudy said:3 spread receivers? I'd like to see that if you can point out a specific play.
Oh, three spread? I'm not entirely sure.
I just know they used two directly on the LoS to cover Megatron.

The Saints did it in a similar fashion when they played the Lions in the playoffs. They literally lined up like ST gunners on Johnson in the red zone and both pressed him to keep the ball away from him.
But yeah, other than that, it's a unique alignment.

After I've seen what Aaron Rodgers did to Cowboys secondary, Yes I push Butler over Claiborne.
Well, Claiborne didn't play that game...
7 hours ago, PurpleCity5 said:I think New England tried to trade Butler for Cooks straight up and New Orleans wouldn't budge on it. I think that shows that the value of Butler doesn't match a 1st but rather a 2nd
It was actually that Butler hadn't signed his tender yet, so he couldn't be traded. NO reportedly wanted to revisit trading for Butler at some point.
Apparently the Titans wanted Cooks and to do so, they would swap picks 5 and 12.
I understand getting another first is big, but you could get a top five pick and trade back and get several more picks or an elite talent.
Just now, allblackraven said:But he'll now become part of the Ravens secondary, we all know how that goes.
This is true. It's a curse.
50 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:They would need to trade their second as well for that to be even close to feasible
Not even. A player on a one year tender who may or may not sign because he knows he plays a premium position? That's not going to cost a mid first and mid second.
Just now, allblackraven said:Yes, from the injury perspctive
I don't see why he wouldn't. He's at least been able to play in every season.
Just now, allblackraven said:If that happens, what are the odds he survives training camp?
What are the chances Claiborne survives training camp?
Despite what Hensley said, I think Claiborne signs very soon.
Sounds like the Ravens put out an offer and he's been looking to see if a team will beat the offer. If no team does soon, I bet he caves and join baltimore, which would make me thrilled.

The Colts did that last year, I believe. Alex Mack went at pick 21. I'm sure the Colts and Browns aren't sweating that decision or upset with it at all.
There's also Mike and Maurkice Pouncey (15 and 18) recently.
All have paid off in major dividends for their drafted teams.
