I didn't know the first thing about coverages until Bmorebird got here.
I truly, truly appreciate the shoutout.
I'm about as livid as anyone that this site is shutting down because @The Raven was the most knowledgeable offensive line guru I knew on these boards. When these two picks (Siragusa and the other whose name I will not attempt to spell) happened, I knew immediately that he would have me and others covered.
Words simply cannot express how much I will miss the knowledge that some of you posters shared with me.

They're more likely to trade Hurns than Lee.

btw this is not me advocating us picking him up in a trade
A team would give it up easy in a sign and trade. Plus, the Pats gave up a first for one year of Cooks.
Even with injuries, Watkins would require a first to pry away. Too much untapped potential in a very young player.
Isn't Jordan Matthews on the trade block?

I am legitimately shocked they haven't tried to get Greg hardy back in the league.
Really hard to justify signing someone who beat a woman even without video... oh, wait...

Without spitting the dummy our because of the poster that suggests it lol.
He likened him to kam chancellor
I think he fully could play safety, but if you're a premiere corner talent, why would you play safety?
As a fellow VT alum, welcome. Happy to have you on board.

So, a few drafts in 80 years are the way to determine if a sixth makes or breaks a draft? It can MAKE one, but will never break one.

I would agree. VT generally produces stand out ST players

Just a really solid player.
Very instinctive and a sound tackler. He plays well enough and doesn't get duped by bunch formations or combo routes. Could play both safety spots because he has the mentality to come downhill and hit and has the range to play over the top.
Easily fooled by play action because he's too active, is not very big, and isn't the best to just turn and run in phase.
Essentially very solid depth who could spot start or be a third safety based on instincts alone, but likely won't ever be a starter due to size and athletic limitations.
Just now, JoeyFlex5 said:I never understood why scouting reports all said he had this great deep speed and was a natural deep threat. I said day one he's gonna fall due to his lack of speed. The the combine came and he did fall because apparently nobody noticed he was slow on tape?
He isn't slow and he has deceptive speed, but he isn't a great accelerator and he isn't blazing like a John Ross.
I'd say he's a deep threat.

He doesn't have amazing long speed as he's a long strider, but he won't get caught from behind.
2 minutes ago, ravensnation5220 said:Bucky Hodges never really had great game tape....cant remember him making many contested catches
He doesn't make them often, but he's still a match up nightmare for any defender and a good route runner for a tight end his size.
Just now, JoeyFlex5 said:You? Man I thought you were touting him as a third rounder. I was, sort of. I'm in between 3rd and 4th for him. I think he's a great route runner and catcher. Can't understand this right now
Third and fourth would have been my range. Fourth being day three.
1 minute ago, RaineV1 said:What's up with Isiah Ford? Did someone find a picture of him murdering a guy or something?
I don't think Ford should have gone before day three, but this long...?
Just now, BOLDnPurPnBlacK said:I mocked him to us in the 3rd in one of my mocks and was told that was crazy.
Had a feeling he'd be a Raven all along and would've been happy with him at 16, 47 or 74.
Steal. Absolute steal.
At first I was really upset to not have landed Lawson, but then Williams name was called and I just died and went to heaven.
So, apparently Wormley was really highly regarded amongst scouts as a 2nd round prospect.
Miller had him at 38 and NFL.com had him as a solid second rounder.
Seems to be really strong value and a good fit at 5T
Just now, rmw10 said:I didn't think he'd make it this far, but figured if anyone was taking a shot on him, it could be us.
Too many off the field for me to have seen him going higher. Off the field is why I didn't see the Ravens taking him.
Happy as hell to have him.
I'd long said Tim Williams would go in the third because of off the field, but I wasn't sure he'd be a Raven.
Best pure 3-4 EDGE in the draft.

I'm gonna laugh when a team trades up and takes JJSS

Just to add on, he'll make a living on special teams and I think he was a returner, too, but can't remember.
VT prides itself on ST play. They're all sound and smart. This has Harbs hand all over.
