    I'll be so glad if the Ravens DO NOT trade with the 49ers because it will put all this bogus "Ravens and 49ers have a trade history" crap to rest. They traded one time. The Dallas Cowboys have as much trade history after swapping first round picks. I also hate hearing about the Harbaugh's being brothers. Oh, I didn't realize that coaches made the trades, not GM's

      I agree that a pass rush can help coverage, but in the same way, the coverage can help everything else. If you can lock down your receiver for six, seven seconds (which is insane), your pass rush will reap the benefits easily. It's all am overlapping process

      I agree that the Cowboys didn't bring him along slowly and they were dumb for it. Rookies can have stretches of playing well, like Trufant or Cooper, but doing it from day one for an entire season will not happen. I hope he gets out of Dallas because he has lots of skill and potential

      I just don't like taking either of the "first round" safeties at number two, and in all honesty, I'd be down for waiting a year and just using a stopgap, like Darian Stewart or maybe even Champ Bailey, and waiting until next year. The safety class next year at least looked a little more promising.

      I do understand about the talent around a player making a huge impact. I felt that way about Eric Reid. He played with two dominant cornerbacks in Peterson and Claiborne, and once they left, we saw a down year from Reid. Of course, he goes to San Francisco where the defense is just as dominant and he does the exact same as when he played at LSU in 2012.

      I think if he had been able to play the nickel for a year and get into the swing of the NFL, which is a massive transition for receivers, in the NFC East, which has some pretty great receiving talent in D Jax, Garcon, Nicks/Cruz, no less. I think he gets there.

      I have faith that Claiborne will be able to get to playing at a high level. He just needs the confidence, but that comes with time. You'll never see a young cornerback just dominate from day one, and I think the Cowboys were expecting too much of him from day one. He was dubbed as one of the potential dominant cornerback duos with Carr.

      Why can I not see your entire post?

      The problem with Pryor is he's much like Elam. He didn't play single high much, if ever, and was used quite a bit to cover short and intermediate routes. He's very aggressive, takes bad angles at times, and isn't exactly rangy. I think he's like Elam in that he could play deep, but is better suited to strong safety.
