  1. Some take "In Ozzie we Trust" way too far. All called for offense in their mock drafts - now they're saying how GREAT this draft was. At least until we start playing and we're still crap in all the areas we were crap in last season! Too funny really.

With Zuttah, try to remember that his two starting guards played a combined nine (maybe eight) games, and they ran the power man scheme when he's a fit for the zone blocking scheme.

I'd imagine Gurley and Diggs both go in the second or later due to injury concerns, but I'm not sure about Cooper.

I certainly think there are some very talented offensive players in this draft. Gurley, Cooper, and Diggs could be three targets. I'm honestly not even sure who's declaring, but this year didn't offer elite offensive talent like when AJ Green and Julio both came out together. It just offered lots of depth.

the position will lead to some more turnovers.

      By selection, I meant history.

Mili, the entire free agency went to the offense. Daniels, Smith, Pitta, Jacoby, Monroe, Kubiak, Hammock, Engram, Dennison, and Pariani.

Ah, yes, I forgot about Daniels. He's not on the tail end of his career as much as Steve Smith is, but he certainly does have an injury selection.

Fly, You have to understand that Brooks was a cornerback first and only played free safety for two years. He's probably thinking too much out there so as not to make a mistake and that might lead to some missed interceptions. I don't know, honestly, but I expect that with some work with the jugs machine and more comfort at th...

No, injuries cost the offense last year. Don't make that mistake.

He signed only Stewart as a defensive free agent, practically ignoring that side. People were upset about that, but when he goes defensive heavy in the draft, it's a crime

I'm shaky about it, too, but we can't say Ozzie ignored the offense. He spent two draft picks from this year on Monroe, one from next year on Zuttah, retained Monroe and Jacoby, got Steve Smith, and added a new tight end, receivers, quarterbacks, and running backs coach, as well as a new OC

By the way, the entire free agency period went to the offense. I think Stewart was the only defensive free agent the Ravens signed

Ozzie does know more about running a team than us. I just try to remain positive and see where the front office is coming from (because it was not just Ozzie's choice, but the scouts, John's, and DeCosta's) and because there's nothing we can do now but wait and see. If Mosley wins DROY, Jernigan gets 5, 6 sacks, and Elam is a beast because Brooks can play free safety, I bet no one complains. I'm taking the wait and see approach

I will absolutely question not adding Lee, Adams, Robinson from this draft or Alshon and Allen from previous drafts, but again, we don't know what Kubiak has in mind. Like I said, maybe he feels the Ravens are set

I actually made a variety of mock drafts that had the Ravens taking defense early and pushing offense down on the priority list. As the off season shaped itself, I became more and more welcoming to a defensive draft, and I'm glad I was open to all possibilities because I'm not the least bit disappointed.

Anyway, we have no idea what the offensive philosophy is or what the game plan will look like, so it was probably ridiculous to clamor for so much offense. For all we know, Kubi...

You say people will sour on "In Ozzie We Trust" once the season starts because they haven't seen how the team will play. How about you take your own advice and wait and see? What's too funny is the hypocrisy.

I get it, the Ravens didn't go all in on offense like you hoped for, but if you look at the first three picks, they were steals in relation to where experts thought they'd go. That's too much value to pass on, or would you like to be like the Dolphins and take JuWuan James in the first?

People wanted a rangier free safety than Matt Elam, and they got Terrance Brooks, the fastest and rangiest free safety in the draft. Now, does he need to work on his hands? Absolutely, but he's certainly rangy.

They also added a new wide receivers coach (might the receivers actually get open?), a new tight ends coach, a new quarterbacks coach (Joe does his best work with one), and a new offensive coordinator.

They were crap as a run defense last year, often getting gashed right up the middle by bigger backs. They added a defensive tackle who could start immediately and an inside linebacker who makes plays against the run. The move likely signals a move to the 4-3, but either way, they're better against the run.

People complained about the offensive line, but they retained Monroe, are getting a healthy KO (presumably), and added Zutah.

  22. jeez I kinda overreacted in this draft. I still think we got way too many D line people and the Urban pick was a bit of a reach because he is a little too slow. Other than that, we filled needs at safety, at WR, and to be honest we don't need an all pro RT we just need a decent one. This isn't my favorite draft by far but it is okay

  23. We go NT with our first pick in 2015. Book it!

  24. With the way fans are overreacting, you'd think there's not four more picks in the "deepest draft in a decade". Not to mention that the deepest positions in this draft are corner and wide receiver, two positions fans so desperately want.
