  1. Is Bosa worth moving up for? I'm guessing it would take next years first and a mid round pick.

  2. the toughest part about picking defensive backs is the fact that it takes them a while to develop in the NFL. Pro ready DB's are tough to come by. Peters and Darby were the lucky 2 last year.

  3. Pierre Garcon to Baltimore make it happen Oz

Depends on what happens with Jackson, but Garcon would save $8M. Considering he hasn't cracked 1,000 yards but once and he's never had double digit touchdowns, he probably isn't worth a cap hit of $10.2M

  4. Alabama had to win the championship didn't they? I can see it now. With the Sixth overall Pick in the NFL Draft.. The Ravens Select, A'Shawn Robinson DT Alabama.

  5. Steelers or Cincy? What's your poison?

Absolutely loathe both teams, Steelers more, but I get a satisfaction out of how poorly Dalton has played.

I want Cinci to lose with Dalton starting so he has a 0-5 record. If McCarron starts, I want the Steelers to lose.

  7. I'll get it started...... Bring Pagano home this off season. Our defense needs a make over and it's time to make it #ChuckStrong once again.

I don't know why he'd want to come back. Just like how Rex Ryan would never come back, not that I'd really mind him not coming back.

I would honestly have to agree with that. I loved Pagano as a defensive coordinator because he just got it with the players. Truly a players coach on defense.

You don't think a coach has a say in it? And let's be real here- Grigson has made some really good moves for that football team and has brought in plenty of defensive pieces to work with.

I'm not saying Grigson is some great GM, but let's not act like it's 100% his fault. Pagano was lucky enough to fall into a situation with Luck. That's it.

So it's Grigson's fault that guys like Art Jones, Trent Cole, Bjoern Werner, etc never panned out?

He probably wouldn't since he couldn't even develop a consistent playoff contender in the AFC South with the first overall pick in his first year.

And I understand what you mean, but a general manager is in place to assemble the team and the coach is there to work with what he's given, hopefully in the image of what he wants, but not always. Sometimes coaches have to make do with what they have. Look at Trestman, for example.

How many new head coaches are going to be given free reigns, though? Very few. Teams will be wary because Chip Kelly could happen.

Think of Wade Phillips, Norv Turner, Todd Haley, and Rex Ryan. Fantastic coordinators, but terrible head coaches. Not everyone is cut out for the job of being a head coach.

Arthur Jones was one of the lower end DT's graded by PFF and he certainly was a far cry from what he was in Baltimore.

Think of Bjoern Werner. How well did he pan out? He just was not getting it done with draft picks or free agent signings on his side of the ball.

But how much did he do to help that defense? Arians got them to the playoffs and has a far more successful team in Arizona.

It could be argued he truly only got the playoffs because he plays in the weakest division in the NFL and came to a team with the best quarterback prospect since Peyton Manning

I'm on the no train now, and looking back on how the season has gone, I would have been no back then if I knew the season would go this way.

  19. Are you ready for an unpopular opinion? I like Anthony Zettel better than Bosa taking into consideration pick value at where they'll be taken. IMO Zettel late 1st/early 2nd + picks from trading back > Bosa top 5.

  20. I know DB is a huge need right now but with a top 5 pick I would take either Bosa or Nkemdiche. Mainly because I think Karl Joseph is a shut down DB. He's everywhere around the ball. One hell of an athlete. We could get him in the 2nd.

I mean, if we're talking about still landing someone like Hargreaves while securing a second this year and first next, I'm all for it...

  22. so much for going 8-0 this half -__-

  23. Here I am just waiting for a competent supporting cast for Flacco like he had in 2012.

That offense was probably the best the Ravens had ever had and it'd still probably rank middle of the pack in terms of skill or talent if the Ravens had it now... Just speaks volumes to Joe's ability.

  24. I definitely think Ravens should draft a QB early at least have him learn from Flacco so that he won't make Flacco's mistakes lol

Trust me, I wouldn't be jumping up and down and I'd probably feel the same way that I did about the Mosley pick- I understand the pick, great player, just not who I wanted.
