Gotta be honest, I don't think it's as scary as you may think. Sure, I expect Ziggy, Slay, and Levy to have great seasons. I think that's great players at three levels of the defense. And Quin is generally very solid. But you have Byrd and Matthews on the definite downswing of their careers, Diggs took a major step back last year and may not even make the Lions in 2017, Nkemdiche has to show he can even get on the field. I do like the potential that Jihad Ward brings, though.

CB: Stephon Gilmore-Jalen Ramsey-Trumaine Johnson-Micah Hyde-Aaron Colvin FS: Tashaun Gipson SS: Third overall pick I think the most exciting thing to me is that Gipson complained a lot of his usage last year and how he was basically told to sit 15 yards back and be only a safety net. This year, he'll have the ability to really go out and make plays. This defense is going to be filthy.

I dropped a whole 58 stars on three players, but I should have a secondary now of CB: Ramsey/Johnson/Hyde/Gilmore/Colvin FS: Gipson SS: A draft pick that I will pick third overall (no real shockers who that will be). Super team secondary? I think so.

On the topic of Mangold, he did struggle with injuries last year on top of poor play. He's 33 and likely on the major downswing of his career. Hardly would call him productive anymore. And as for Revis, he was a shell of his former self. Probably hard to do worse than that burn rate. He just no longer has the speed or quickness and I bet he moves to S because he no longer is productive

I got a moderately better line going with some moderately decent depth. I think it's a top 16 line. This should be a pretty good improvement from the dumpster fire he had last year. Maybe that will help him.
