  1. I was initially rough on bringing Williams back because he faded down the stretch, but you have to consider also that the entire front seven faded with him. Coincidence? No, it's really not. I also want to see the Ravens put him in more situations to be a one gap player that can knife gaps. I think Williams has some underrated quickness and if he shed 10-15 pounds, he might be able to slice in there and generate some pressure from the interior.
  2. With who's left at DB, I'd like to think the Ravens would want to look at Prince Amukamara. I love the idea of Claiborne and his price is probably far more affordable.
  3. I've always been very curious to see him one gap. I think he can knife gaps decently.
  4. Again, if the Ravens WANT to, they will make room some way or another, unless he gets a KO type deal.
  5. I wonder if they alter his usage. We know he can two gap, but I've always felt he had an ability to knife some gaps. Maybe they give him a chance to one gap.
  6. The Ravens will retain who they want to retain and if they want to retain Jernigan, they will.
  7. He might beat it by like 100k. That'd be fine with me.
  8. That's a little scary to me...
  9. I'm super hype about retaining Williams. At first I was a little down on him after he faded down the stretch, but the entire defense faded with him. He is the anchor of that front seven. I'm hype.
  10. He got like $10M per year.
  11. I have to wonder if the Ravens will get heavily involved in Pryor. Many teams are balking at paying him $10M per year, and the Ravens paid Wallace around $8M, so we know the Ravens ARE willing to pay. Have to wonder if the Ravens would pony up $9M per year to have Wallace/Pryor/Perriman. That'd make me one happy fan and would make Joe very happy.
  12. Browns are about to make Zeitler the highest paid guard ever.
  13. They get into a track stance and run 40 yards in a straight line with no pads on. It's all trained. Plus, it starts on first movement, so if he twitches slightly, that clock goes. Horrible measure.
  14. Ravens remain cautiously optimistic that they can re-sign Brandon Williams.
  15. Hey, didn't you know that players frequently get into a track stance and run 40 yards in a straight line in no pads. It's all the rage.
  16. The combine is probably one of the worst things to go off of.
  17. I'm not interested in Alshon with those injuries. Much more interested in Pryor.
  18. Markus Wheaton still out there.
  19. I bet they could afford Pryor.
  20. Ravens showing interest in Morris Claiborne. Love the player, but two oft injured corners? Ouch
  21. Did he? That's the attitude I like. You know the organization, the fans, the players, the area, and what not. Why not take a little less (getting tens of millions is life changing no matter how you slice it, so getting a few million more isn't life changing) to stay with the team that wanted you enough to draft you in the first place? Although, I will say, going to NY wouldn't be horrible. I'd go there over somewhere like Detroit or Los Angeles.
  22. I think the Giants were speculation. And honestly, sometimes being on the team that drafted you is enough. Not every player wants to chase the money.
  23. This is such awesome news that he's putting other teams on hold to get it done with the home team. This would change my entire mood on FA.
  24. Uh.... this is so wrong on several levels...
  25. I think if the Ravens didn't have Dixon, it'd have been a possibility, but with Dixon and West, just too many mouths to feed.
