    The Steelers said they'd pull their top offer for Hightower off the table if he left without a deal. The Steelers are unwilling to be leverage against the Patriots. Very interested to see how that plays out. Andre Ellington re-signed with the Cards to play wide receiver for them.

    The Saints did it in a similar fashion when they played the Lions in the playoffs. They literally lined up like ST gunners on Johnson in the red zone and both pressed him to keep the ball away from him. But yeah, other than that, it's a unique alignment.

  13. It was actually that Butler hadn't signed his tender yet, so he couldn't be traded. NO reportedly wanted to revisit trading for Butler at some point.

    Apparently the Titans wanted Cooks and to do so, they would swap picks 5 and 12. I understand getting another first is big, but you could get a top five pick and trade back and get several more picks or an elite talent.

  19. Despite what Hensley said, I think Claiborne signs very soon. Sounds like the Ravens put out an offer and he's been looking to see if a team will beat the offer. If no team does soon, I bet he caves and join baltimore, which would make me thrilled.

    Arizona utilized a ton of three and four safety sets last year to help neutralize the threat of tight ends and I'd imagine Jefferson would be able to help with that transition into three and four safety sets.
