  1. I by auto default root against the Pats, but now I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing them lose games I shall relish their losses as much as I relish Ravens wins.
  2. If you can only speak positive of your team when they are winning...you are not a true fan. You are just a hothead that pouts when not winning.
  3. I agree with Ultimanick, and add...lets turn our hate towards people like Kraft and others out there that have already counted us out. And are laughing at our misfortune, lets hate them and send our positive energy to our TEAM and help them get back on track. We are tough. I still see our team playing tough fighting each and every game despite all that's going wrong they are playing to win. Do you think anyone in NFL who are not Ravens notices our resilience? Doubt it.
  4. Fair weather fans need to stop kicking your team that's down. The rest of NFL franchises will do that for us..,why add to the hate fest? Be....a...fan. Support....YOUR...team...Ravens need you.
  5. Oh so that explains this sense of being blacklisted. I noticed this preseason moving into regular all the damaging articles on us. So the Patriots want payback from deflate gate by trying to damage our reputation? All I can say is...what goes around comes around "Krafty" your time is gonna come...and soon Karma. Huh, works both ways.
  6. SSS was awesome. Maxx Williams had some good plays (omit last Hail Mary throw). Defense did better but would have liked to see Babin in to help. It was a close game against a very talented team that tends to beat us more than we beat them anyway. I'm looking forward to Pittsburg, Im not disheartened by what I saw yesterday. Oakland was a shocker but this Bengal game went better, and by no means are Ravens playing their best but...not worst either. Their fighting, and the effort is seen. On to next week.
  7. I feel good about this one...home game (finally) bout time! And we need to forget those past 2 road games and just play our best football. GO RAVENS!
  8. I get the feeling, and I could be wrong, but I get the feeling Trestman isn't fully on board with the Ravens Organization when I see him wearing the hat color...white. I don't care if players wear it...but Trestman being new to the team...somehow he looks like an outsider (by choice) when I see that color on him.
  9. I think white is a jinx color for Ravens I wish Trestman would wear black like a Raven.
  10. Lol I thought same thing...and yes it's good to read this.
  11. We enter this game against Bengals huge underdogs....just like we like it
  12. Yup...one game at a time. There is a positive from all this: an opportunity to learn early from mistakes and adjust accordingly. It's nose to grindstone time.
  13. I agree with the comments about...just because the Raiders haven't been a good team in previous years has no bearing on the team they are this year. They got some great players and Del Rio which will help them considerbly. it will be interesting to see them win a bunch more games. And good for our morale too im not saying it excuses the way our defense played...but it does give an added perspective that we weren't 'as bad' as the comparison initially that this would be an easy match up. Perhaps it was not an easy match up AT ALL, however..,we still have to be the better team. This would just mean we did better than it looks on paper.
  14. They should let the players decide, and maybe that's what it will come down to. This reevaluation sounds to me like 'caring about the players' on the coaches/staff's part. Makes sense since it's the players who grind it out on the grid. Make them as comfortable before game time as possible...whatever that is. Stay in west...go back home in between...let players give the input on that.
  15. I think Flacco is elite...but certainly did not need to hear from combover on the matter
  16. We are seeing that 'who' we play doesn't matter. We have to simply be good enough team to make the playoffs. Regardless of how difficult or easy our match ups are. Good that we are taking on our divisional teams tho, these next series of games, because that's an incredible opportunity. But even if we were 2-0 we'd still have the same situation we have at 0-2: that we need to be better than the opponent. Period.
  17. Lewis and Reed sorely missed...but the defense simply has to find a way to reinvent itself within the current culture...it's the only way. It will prove to be the best way.
  18. Yeah good riddance to that place!
  19. Kind of a retrospect comment but...glad to be out of Oakland besides obvious reason...but also because... hated their stadium. Ugly dirt diamond left over in mid field and no football logos in mid or end zones. Looks like little league venue, just was overall not great to play there. Bet the players are glad to be back home. Tomorrows a new day!
  20. Time to cut the umbilical cord from Suggs then. Just a 'hunch' observation: that players were too dependabt on his A-personality to up their own game. Meaning we were only as good as Suggs was good and only bad as Suggs was absent? If so that's just co-dependency on one player to carry the spirit of the defense...not good. And now we see why. So, him possibly leaving is not a 'bad thing' imo...it means...move on other players on defense. Be your own leaders.
  21. I'm not going to give up on team either, but not optimistic at this point either. The players seem to depend too much on something external to their own abilities (coaches, key players?) not sure exactly what...but I said it before I'll say it again...seems the players generally lack confidence. Flash back to our SB year..li saw/felt a lot of confidence from players. Even when we were down, they believed in their ability to turn the tide. You just don't get that feeling this year from players. They look a bit lifeless. A bit hesitant. I hope they prove these words here wrong, I truly do. This team is better than this.
  22. Yes I think letting Torrey and J Jones go was a mistake too, I was angry when I first read that (off season) it's like logic got turned upside down. Ngata too but in different context. And players saying Suggs out had this huge impact...wait a minute..,he's one player, one guy...you can't use the excuse of losses on one person missing. You ALL are professionals so one gone means still plenty of talent...you'd think?
  23. The Ravens are not out of it...but they have to overcome not just a few mistakes, but many mistakes to get back on track. It can be done. It's best imo to be a realist first optimist second. Get the real issues fixed, then the optimism takes care of itself.
  24. Yeah, I'm tired of the close games too, because many shouldn't have been close, but our mistakes made them close. And the freezing up in the red zone has gone on for too long. We drive the ball down the field but then seem to stop making good plays once in the red zone. So...getting across one end of field to the other...no problem...but the last 20 yards become a big deal all the sudden and last year we settled for so many field goals because of this. We'd not only win games, but we'd win games without "sitting on the edge of your seat style" IF we performed better in the end zone consistently.
  25. Two losses is SO frustrating. There is one consolation...we are still fighters...this team. They fought the Raiders, and Broncos...just not solid. Last week the defense kept the game close, this week the offense kept the game close. What frustrates me most is we need someone to steer the ship. Or get some feel of leadership. Someone step up already!!! We face Begals next week...helps its at home. But still, we need everything we got and more...
