  1. "Dolphins losers of the 4 of their last 5 games are favored" What else is new lol.
  2. Exactly. But on it not changing...Hope one day we'll be so obvious they can't ignore us anymore tho. Our 2013 season was a decline losing many to retirement, others to teams so the pundits easily swept our SB under the rug for good...after our season opener loss @ Denver...which didn't help since we played 'at the scene of the crime' from year before, so to go back in and let them get their revenge Thursday night football...more ammunition for the journalists to keep us in irrelevance.
  3. I just see 32 franchises, and every team has things happening game to game...so more articles on us would be nice, and more positive articles because the ones there usually are not positive. The one I read Tuesday said "the hated Ravens beat the Browns" and left it unclear as to why we were called "hated" by Browns fans I assumed but it was pretty ambiguous as to who hates us...other NFL team fans or what? Just sayin, doesn't seem like balanced...maybe tv commentary is better. Hope so.
  4. It's like this for us a long while now...not just this year. Probably this year is the worst. And what's odd to me is a team that been in playoffs the majority of this decade of football is so rarely talked about. Period.
  5. @ NFL.com site...About 10 seperate articles on Greenbay dramatic win compared to the one or two articles on our mnf win. Lol, 'balanced' reporting at that site (and others probably). I get that there are more fans overall for a team that has been around longer in terms of years...GB. But these "pumping up some teams and shooting down others" is what keeps everything status quo in who the favorites are vs who barely gets mentioned of the 32 franchises. Obviously we are the "barely gets mentioned" category.
  6. Ever since the Patriots fans started chiming in that Flacco's injury (and Forsett same game) was cumulative result of 'bad karma' (per NFL.com posting replies comment section)... I adamantly rejected this notion we had any so-called 'bad karma' from the hilarious deflate-gate situation, and furthermore, felt their comments should indeed result in negative proof...meaning,..some positive would soon befall US and some negatives would befall THEM...much like how a sports announcer presents some stat and then consequently the opposite becomes the next outcome. So...since that week's statement WE WON at a last second thriller in Cleveland, and the Patriots also LOST that week in a crusher defeat (plagued with a few ref miscalls)...in short...anything is possible and situations do and always turn for the better (Ravens) or worse(Patriots)so, (moral is) don't count your chickens before they hatch...because...there's no such thing as bad karma (Ravens) or unconditional entitlement (Patriots). So...yeah, our bad luck is not permanent and glad these two brothers represented their teams and won on Wheel of Fortune...it was simply a matter of time until this (turn of luck) came to fruition
  7. I disagree...humor at anothers expense is not often funny, if ever. For some ppl I can see it is. But I don't think reminding ppl of throwing interceptions and the elite factor is giving much credit to Schaub who was nervous going into the game and did pretty well all considered. Plus we heard later he beat himself up over the interceptions...so I know he felt he let Ravens team and fans down...and I just don't want to laugh about that. But...it's a free speech country so...some enjoy the humor, some don't.
  8. Yeah...I liked that one...was cute.
  9. If you ingest a certain mushroom prior to the game, all the footballs sail those elite rainbows lol.
  10. Nice of them all to give back to the community in Baltimore!
  11. Laughter is good medicine. On related note...every time I watch Ravens game at sports bar...never fails the fans of opponents show up...no matter how odd it seems such fans to be there. This year had to listen to them at end of game...all those games we lost. Looking back, humor helped me thru it lol. It all began with the herd of Broncos fans that kept toasting each other looking in my direction and laughing at the end of our first game lol.
  12. Using photos of elderly heart attacks (reenactments but still) ...another creepy installment from Ben Rosen lol.
  13. Yes you pinpointed my feeling here...I admire their gracious reaction and thoroughly enjoyed watching them...have no idea what it's like to be Browns fan...but it can't be easy.
  14. Really liked the Browns fan video most people of any team get so angry over a loss/losses. But when you watch this video and think about it...how the camera initially swings to right anticipating following the fg kick, but then has to turn left to follow will hill into end zone...then that guy saying "we lost!" Panning back to right those two guys laughing...too funny!
  15. Nice to hear how Justin celebrated win. I've been missing all our injured players...the guys are still playing like mad despite how thin we've gotten. But can't wait till we get more healthy!
  16. Yup, I live in New Mexico, it's Broncos and Cowboys country here. Some Raiders and 49ers..,even Steelers big here. At work they bought Ravens cupcakes to honor SB win for me...but oh the solemn faces lol, that day at work after SB. No one, and I mean no one at work or anywhere in sight though we could win that year. Huge upset! Ravens fans walking on air for a long while we were.
  17. His first dance ... Makes it all the more special. I sensed something emotional when I saw it on tv, but attributed it to his first TD...good to know the bigger story behind it.
  18. Yup, I remember the ESPN commentators talking about this. Personally I've always loved an aggressive offensive stance, risk takers. Not reckless risk takers, but doing it when it counts, when games are on the line....takes guts. On other hand, can't stand conservatism when a big play is needed. Luckily the Ravens have not often acted that way, and while they have me tense on these calls, I'm 'with them' on these 4th down gambles. No guts, no glory. Sure, can fail too, but ...lets just do this and see that we can! That's my kind of football!
  19. Ha that's great! And you just reminded me back during that game I got up jumping and yelled so loud I scared a family member in another room lol.
  20. Well deserved credit to John Harbaugh. Painful to read how the Jacksonville win would still have us in playoff hunt...that one still stings.
  21. So true! To this day I still watch the Denver/Balitimore playoffs game Jacoby Jones catch Flacco launched 49 seconds in regular play...sucked the air out of mile high...gives me a smile every time.
  22. I feel we gave ESPN it's money's worth...the announcers were all happy at end going over the surprise play replay, understandably so as many said this would be a zzzzzz game. Not when we play!
  23. Each call is different. Look at each call instead of trying to say one is the same as the other. Some cost yardage and games and gave an advantage in some way...other calls like this one at end of Browns game are more like looking for any little thread to grasp to say the outcome of game was unfair.
  24. Billiejean ??? I'm saying the issue of a missed penalty here is a weak stance to defend based on the particular call (lack of call) being brought into question. Now...Urschel coming onto field, right in front of ref, waving his hands to report eligible and then after a 6 yard gain is flagged and we're told he didn't report eligible when everyone watching now knows he did...that effects play.
  25. Next week watch closely how many times a safety's (whomever's) hand (of any team)is not exactly on the line...then you'll see how it's so not a big deal.
