Mine still needs some major work with Jonathon Casillas, AJ Klein, and Devon Kennard..I love AJ Klein so I am happy with that pickup and Kennard when playing does well, and Casillas is okay. Hopefully in a position to have some value in the draft at some point
Yeah Klein should be a good player. Just such a logjam for playing time at Carolina.
A little late but I'm really happy about my LB corps as of right now. Derrick Johnson and Lawrence Timmons in the middle, Justin Houston wrecking one side, Tamba Hali/Dee Ford rotating on the other.

Beathard definitely isn't a production guy. He has raw nfl tools, but he isn't refined at all. Reeves-Maybin is certainly a great althele but he is just a tad short for the prototype of his position and hurt last year. I don't see how they are numbers guys.
1 hour ago, rossihunter2 said:i never get the point of taking production guys in the 7th because so often they just have nothing going for them at the next level because if they did they would have been taken much earlier - the guys you have to take in the 7th are the raw guys with athletic gifts or with some element of polish - like waller or camp, camp with his route running and shiftiness, waller with his size and speed
Yeah, production guys are maxed out and never going to contribute

I traded my 7.27 with the Sean Smith trade

The receivers on this team have struggled finding separation for years now. Sure Flacco has a boneheaded interception here and there but not much more than the rest of the NFL. The team needs a couple legit redzone threats I feel like the team moved the ball last year but couldn't get touchdowns. I'm surprised the wide receiver coach has kept his job the last few years after this issue hasn't been resolved.
Yeah a lot of Flaccos picks are throws where just absolutely no one has any seperation.
Look to move one of Jaye Howard or Allen Bailey. Looking mostly for picks or ILB/WR/OG help

That's a lot of money in safeties between Weddle and Jefferson, plus this is a fantastic safety class.
I wouldn't touch Britt with a 10 foot pole. He's always had huge attitude issues despite his talent. He's never produced like he should have before this year and only produced last season in an Aikan like way: the Rams literally had no one else to throw to. He's also getting towards the end of his career.
I still think Flacco is easily top ten quarterback in the league talent wise. I mean, he's won more games that Matt Ryan has played in and he's creeping on Peyton on the playoff wins column. He just has never had a dominant or even just really, really good WR. If we keep the OL healthy, give Joe a great weapon, and keep OC consistently doing what Joe does best (Play action), He'll go back to peak form. I still think Joe is 100% worth his contract. Without him, we'd probably be starting another Boller or Troy Smith.
I think Jeffry is a pipe dream and I don't really get the point of signing Williams. I'd rather bring back Guy for real cheap and Ozzie has proven he is an absolute wizard at getting DL talent in the midrounds. We have a lot of young talent there too. I really wish we could get someone like Tony Jefferson, but I doubt we would want to pour so much money into safeties with him and Weddle. From the Mock: really like the Davis, King, Pocic, Switzer picks. Pocic won't be there though. Really, really don't like the Banner and Price picks. Banner just the OL version of Mount Cody. Just big and fat. Price just isn't an NFL player.

I think one way to make it better tho is to take an Olineman instead of De'veon Smith (who I like too btw) and to put Hall or another tier 3 pass-rusher not named Phillips. I didn't watch any tapes of him, just the senior bowl drills and he didn't look comfortable there. Too easy to contain him. I promise I'll find some tapes and build an informed ompinion on the guy as soon as possible.
I love Smart and saw you were also mentioning him back in November, if I'm no mistaken. Reeves-Maybin would be an interesting one too.
Yeah I got to watch Smart live a lot, so I'm obviously a fan. He'd be a great DT in our system and my buddy at University of Houston who works with the team claimed that he was the defensive player in the American that Houston planned around the most. Hall would also be an excellent pick, he's really got the build of a great 3-4 backer. I'm with you on the OL, I realized right after the mock that I left a glaring need.
13 hours ago, RavensDieHard21 said:Just seen the best two round mock so far, Barnett in the first with us trading up with I think Philly to take Budda Baker.
Talk about instant infusion of talent. Baker's tape might be the most entertaining to watch. He might not be the honey badger but he certainly looks like the Tasmanian Devil😈
I do really, really like Budda Baker. He or Desmond King would be excellent in the second, since I doubt we could get Hooker/Adams in the first.
14 hours ago, RavensDieHard21 said:Ya they throw him in there(1st) just for variety in their picks but almost any mock you see will have Jones, Lattimore, Hump, Tabor, Wilson and in some cases Lewis and White all ahead of him.
This is why I think he could be a great Rd 2 pick.
I personally have Jones, Lattimore, and Wilson over him and Humphrey pretty close. I think a lot of executives in the NFL see it the same. Humphrey has stiff hips, Lewis and White are shorter, and Tabor has off the field flags plus he is overhyped. I think most GMs have Conley in the first even if most fan/media "experts" don't. I definitely don't think he'll be there in the middle of the second. I think if we trade down to early/mid 20s, we could snag him.
6 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:This is true but a lack of evidence is still a concern.
With howard being such a stellar athlete and showing great all around football ability I'd be willing to bet he can still make big plays as a traditional TE, but that's a calculated risk that some FO has to make when drafting him
I think his senior bowl more than quieted all doubt about that.
