Tre white was my target the whole time and he went one before me smh. This way I have a ridiculous pass rush though, Williams and ziggy, and then if I can kick jihad ward inside and nkemdiche can get it together then my front 4 pass rush is ridiculous, having clay Matthews and levy as well makes for a sick blitz package
I like the pick. Tim Williams is certainly more than talented enough to go that high, just have to wonder if teams trust him to stay clean.

I thought that maybe KC could get away with waiting until next year for a better class, but then I realized that KC will probably be good enough to miss out on all those guys without a hefty trade. I don't think Trubisky is better than let say Darnold or Josh Allen as a prospect, but I'd rather have him (especially with a year of development with Andy Reid) than Rosen, Browning, or Jackson.
Just now, -Truth- said:Had a feeling that was coming.
Was heavily debating taking a couple other players that will all probably be drafted very soon, but the Chiefs can't depend on Alex Smith forever.
With the 21st pick of the 2017 draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select:
Mitchell Trubisky, QB, UNC

Confirmed
For Value vs. Talent, OJ Howard is the best pick so far

I agree but like I said, that would be concerning.
2 minutes ago, RavensFanMania said:I certainly wouldn't mind the Ravens drafting Mike Williams in real life. Guys a baller and is going to be a beast in the red zone. He is constantly winning jump balls. He may not be as polished a route runner as Corey Davis is, but I believe he will have a successful career in the NFL. Good pick @JO_75
I absolutely love his possession receiver ability, but I really question his decision not to run the 40 at the combine. Means he could be in the 4.6-4.7 range and while that's not particularly bad for a guy of his size, it would give me pause. Not enough pause to that he's not the top guy I want besides maybe if one of Barnett/Thomas/Charlton falls to us, but still pause.
Hopefully this can get the ball rolling
At this rate, we should get to the second by the time the board closes!
I honestly think that Chad Kelly doesn't get drafted. He's a thug, pure and simple. He'd go round 2 if he wasn't a basketcase, sure. Reminder that Chad Kelly GOT ARRESTED BECAUSE HE GOT THROWN OUT OF A CLUB AND THREATENED TO COME BACK WITH HIS AK TO SHOOT THE PLACE UP. Dede Westbrook has multiple DV arrests. No thanks. Lamp and Lawson are great picks. Props for those.

seems each yr we have more needs but right now we need a RT sinc doan belief lewis is the long term answer. disagreein with tryin to keep joe and build but if that is the real bad plan we need oline. u can nevah have to much oline with or without joe. so when the contest gets underwhey and we all post ou r top 100 for the draff I will be positioning for a 1st pic right tackle. after that it will be a pass catchr and then a runnin back. my vision of the contest is you lay out your raven needs rounds 1 thru 7 and then say 3 comp pics positional. current n my case depends of FA are RT, WR, RB, CB, OLB, G, S, and from your 100 selected playas your top remainin RT is your pic in round 1. or a playa lke oz in the front office can say his draff is best availible ahthlet and in that case the top aviabile playa on ur list is the choice. like your first six are gone your pick would be ur 7 guy on ur list but first remainin guy. my draffs are nevah bess althete I will be goin on need which I suggest everyone do. this will be fun and I bout garantee we will all beat out oz. I know I will. so start workin on ur pics. I got a CB this is gonna blow ur doors off and he will be there in round 4.

Seriously, are you going out of your way to misspell every word you can?

Which is an obvious concern, but in the fourth round I think his upside is worth the risk. I know we took a lot of dlinemen last draft, but Ozzie usually takes one per draft(which is understandable. Football is won in the trenches). I think if healthy he could be a guy who can come help put some pressure on the QB from the interior, while also being a good run defender.
I think Dawkins has a very high ceiling as a RT. He's a guy who could play all over the line given his foot quickness and strength. You could probably also put him over at guard if you had to. I'd really like him here, and honestly he's the type of guy I could see Ozzie looking at.
I like the mock a lot besides Vanderdoes. He's done nothing in college to make me think he'll be anything but a career backup in the pros.
Just now, 52520Andrew said:Hooker only played 1 year of college though and had only played 2 years in high school before that so I don't know if that is comparable.
I'm pretty high on Hooker I guess. I think sky is the limit for him.
1 hour ago, BmoreBird22 said:On the topic of Hooker, I think he's one of those guys who won't really click until year three, but once he does, he'll be a potential perennial All-Pro. I just am very wary of all the hamstring issues and a player who doesn't have a lot of experience. There's no substitute for live reps as a safety.
But I think he will be very good down the road. Still have Adams as a higher rated prospect, but they're both going to be great.
IDK, Earl Thomas only started for Texas for two years, declared as a RS Sophomore as well. I think he could come out of the gates blazing like Earl did.

2 minutes ago, Edgar said:I won't attempt to predict what happens this year with Correa but come on....Correa didn't win any starting ILB spot.
That is some fashion of odd revisionism.
He was practicing with the starters for a while. That's not revisionism.
My confusion on the shut down stems from the replacement. Over the years, I have gotten the chance to meet some really cool feel fans on this forum and I definitely wouldn't have been able to do that on social media. Plus, where the heck else am I supposed to post my mock drafts that no one reads anyway?
4 hours ago, EdTheMythicalOne said:I did not think the Ravens were going to be able to pull off the move for Tony Jefferson. Him coming to Baltimore is proof to me that he doesn't have a cinder block for a head. Sure he could have earned a lot more, but the Browns are a complete mess, have been for years, and probably aren't getting better any time soon. You can't build a team completely through free agency like the Redskins have tried to do for years. The Jefferson move solidifies one big weakness and that probably means Webb will be cut soon. Can't really think it is prudent to keep him at his salary, even if restructured, to be a back up.
Ravens also pick up Danny Woodhead...meh...I think he's a warm body until Ken Dixon comes back. What a stupid mistake. You'd think these guys would wake up and learn that if you cheat, you will get busted.
Ravens picked up the option on Wallace and didn't sign Smith, so there's the WR question answered. I still think they add a body or two after veteran cuts.
Still need some help at C and possibly RT and we need a starting corner badly. I think we're okay at DT with what we have in house and we need to find a starting edge rusher. I don't know if all they guys we need are in house already. In fact, at most of the positions I am sure that guy is not in house.
Except the NFL by rule doesn't test for HGH and everyone in the league uses it. So there is that.
14 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Correa won the starting ILB spot until Zach Orr caught fire, and he did pretty well facing starters in preseason.
And it's not very surprising Correa didn't contribute that much last year. He was a very raw player, who also had to learn multiple position for a complicated Ravens defense. Ozzie knew that Correa might not be a day 1 starter, but if we can put 2 and 2 together, he has an upside as high as almost anyone in that draft class.
I think when all is said and done, this is a very similar deal to what Snacks Harrison got last year and I think Brandon Williams is on that level. Sure, maybe we sunk a little bit too much money then we would have liked, but seriously, go read through the deals for today. Matt Khalil has been an awful offensive tackle for two straight years and he just earned himself a near identical contract to Williams.

If anyone was wondering, I had to really talk myself out of taking one of Marlon Humphrey or John Ross when I traded up. Couldn't talk about them before because they weren't drafted yet.
