I mean... Isaiah ford for there for us to take. Talk about production, had like back to back 1000 yard season. This dude might be a good special teamer, but we could get those more in UDFA. I just don't get it

Considering Ford didn't go until mid 7th, I think he was one of those players the nfl viewed very differently than the fans.

  2. I understand the logic behind the trade. 0 percent chance we were going to resign Jernigan after that deal we gave Williams. Eagles are basically moving down 25 spots in the third to rent Jernigan for a year. I'm neutral. It would be nice to get another year out of Jernigan and get a comp, but at the same time, this draft class is very special. We have historically shown to be able to develop DL talent with ease. It also displays some faith in some combination of Urban, Davis, Pierce, Henry, and Kafusi stepping up this year, since Guy left in FA as well. I like the trade because we just lose one year of Jernigan's sometimes talented sometimes spotty play and gain from it, but I can't help but feeling we could have gotten more.

Went with Price after some long deliberation. His level of effort when the play is nearing its end is questionable, and he slows down when facing double teams, but the flashes are impressive. He's explosive, twitchy, uses his height to gain advantage in leverage battles, has a plan of attack when facing OTs as far as counter-moves go, and he has an extensive range of moves. He could develop into a solid situational pass rusher and perhaps may challenge for a starting role down the road.

I might be in the minority here, but I think Price ends up being one of those guys that will have trouble converting collegiate success to the next level. I think this is a decent range to take him and its still a pretty good pick, but I got my doubts. He's really small for an edge rusher, height wise.

  4. Heading back to Baltimore tomorrow, gonna feel good to be home. Going to miss the New Orleans weather a little bit. If my pick comes up about 9-12 EST, I'll be on the the plane and unable to make a selection. I'll keep an eye on how fast the draft goes and give someone my board if necessary.

Personally think Davis webb s the best qb in this class and would love the ravens to take him in the 4th

I made a poster in my dorm room of this goofy picture of Webb as an inside joke between my roommate and I. Huge Webb fan.

Well not quite room temp, but ~55-60 degrees is best for many varieties. It really depends on the brew. Take Founders KBS for instance. Considered one of the best beers in the world by many, which I was lucky enough to come across on tap once, if served too cold would taste much like any other stout. Serving beer cold can make it refreshing, but it hides the flavors.... which can be a good thing as well, depending on the beer.

Nothing like a cold Natty Ice.

Seeing the selection of Ford, Bill Belichicks salt levels rise to unhealthy levels. The additional sodium dries up his slimy outer membrane, crippling him and reducing him to a heap on the floor. Robert Kraft finds him shriveled up on the floor. Panicking, Kraft douses him in the closest thing at hand - the Burnett's Pink Lemonade Vodka / Cranberry juice mixed drink his 50+ years younger 'girlfriend' made for him.

Rising from the sickening puddle, Belichick mutters an thank you before skulking back into the shadows.

What kind of sick puppy would drink pink lemonade vodka?

Would have certainly taken JuJu but I just do not see it with him. Lacks explosivness, does not really get Separation, is a big body WR and does not box out DBs he is just not playing like a 6'2 220 pounds guy. He does track the ball really well on deep throws, catches well on outside shoulder and is tough after the catch.

I'd agree in the first or the second, but not much risk taking him in the third. This WR class is kind of weird because I love the ceiling of a lot of the 2-4th round guys, but their floors are really low as well.

I'm a VT alum, so I always try to find a way to work them onto my roster despite some bigger needs.

He's a freak athlete. I'm just upset Loeffler wasted two years of him in his offense.

As a Texas fan, I understand. It was pitiful watching our terrible defense lose us every game, despite the fact a certain RB would try to carry the team on his back. And don't even get me started on Tulane.

Looking through the players drafted and laughing at my Kizer pick in round 2 being negged.

    Guessing some other wanted him

There is a certain QB still on the board that I'd take over Kizer, but that's still a really solid area to take Kizer. Little risk (especially with the talent you had already acquired), high reward.

He was a good value pick and does have a wide range on him as to where he goes.

I think alot of it is down to scheme fit

I'd agree. I could see him going from 20-25 or where he was picked in this mock, just based on how teams view the position he'll play in their schemes.

Homer pick aside, I think Hodges is the best receiving tight end in the NFL draft. He's 6'7" fast, explosive, and aggressive. He runs excellent routes and is a terror up the seam. The only area you wish he'd improve is those 50/50 balls. He'll make the tough grabs, but needs to get that vice grip for those contested balls.

Hardly what I call a homer pick. I wouldn't have complained if Hodges went mid second round. That size/speed combination is really, really rare.
