  1. Who remembers the days when Billy Bajema was our depth at tight end? Now we have like 5 quality guys. I kind of miss Bajema though.

Since we probably cut Watson I'd guess, we probably roll into the season with Pitta, WIlliams, Gilmore, Boyle, and Waller, maybe a draft pick. That's almost too many TEs.

  2. Anyone want to bring Torrey home on a reduced contract?

Mike Wallace provides what Torrey would, but he is better and cheaper.

  3. He's just your average Joe with a strong arm.His backup is a better fit for our offense because he's mobile.Especially how our play calling sucks. In both games we lost we were out coached.Hats off to Del'Rio and Gruden, and Lord help us with the remaining schedule.I've always said that Harbs inherited a winning team. Now  we're witnessing his true skills.

The idea at Mallett being mobile is pretty laughable.

  4. Marc Trestman... please go back to the CFL. Oh take Pees with you too. Finally, Irsay just go ahead and fire Pagano now so he can be on the next flight back to Baltimore. Thanks.

  5. Preseason or not, Peas has to go.

Peas has the respect of his peers. this is just like the "Start Tyrod" of before the Super Bowl

  6. Crazy that Anthony Davis' 5 year $145M deal is worth $29M a year. If you didn't watch the NBA, you think he was an all pro NFL QB with that kind of money. Crazy to think Luck and Wilson may get a very similar contract.

Davis is probably the third best all around player in the NBA after Lebron and Durant

  7. Andrew Bose is an interesting prospect, I'm intrigued to hear how his tryout has been going. Good size at 6'1" 234 and he's athletic, he also hits with some authority. He looks like a perfect ST player, wanna know how his tryout has been going.

      Could be a McClellan replacement

  8. Last year it was Mosley vs. Shazier, this year it'll be Z. Smith vs. Dupree. Love the competition.

i'd be surprised if James got much time. Despite his size, blocking is not a strong suit. He basically only brings his height to the table.

  9. honestly, I think Terrence Brooks will make a big leap forward and be our starting FS by next year opposite Will Hill

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

I think Kendrick Lewis starts the whole season. Terrence gets some play once he comes of the PUP, but I think we could use him as a nickelback/slotback/FS hybrid all in one. Maybe even use the 3 safety scheme NO uses time to time.

  10. I feel so bad for the FO, cuts this year are going to be so hard. So much young talent coming in through the draft and i like a lot of these UDFAs, namely Easton, Allen, Worthy, and Monroe. From the looks of things they can all do some real damage given the chance. It seems we'll be waving bye to some familiar faces like Tyson and McClellan to make room.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

McClellan is probably gone. Tyson has been playing at a very high level as a rotational guy and he still is dirt cheap on his rookie contract. No way he leaves.

  11. The more i watch of Tray Walker the more i like. Guy needs work but given a year he will be darn good with some coaching. You can't teach size and mindset and Walker has both. Gotta love corners that aren't afraid to hit.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

He really flies all over the field and attacks the ball. I think he could carve a role in our defense eventually.

  12. Cuts this year are going to be so tough, I really like a lot of these UDFA signings, wouldn't be surprised if we part ways with a familiar face or two

Camp is safe IMO. We don't have a return man and he put a very good showing in the Pats game last year. I actually think out of returning WR on the roster, Brown is in the most trouble.

  13. 3 minutes ago Anyone else seeing Ajayi left on the board thinking..."Ozzie, make a move for this kid, NOW!"

    1. ravensnick

His knees must be horrid for some that good to have lasted so long. Plus, still lots of great RBS available.

  14. anyone else having some real technical issues with the site?

  15. I disliked the CJ Mosley pick last year and look how he turned out. I dislike the Perriman pick so hopefully it ends in the same result.

This was my first thought too. Leave it to the pros.

  16. Do you think we could trade for the Bennett TE from Chicago? Aparently he is on the trade block, and maybe we are interested. The only reason why we might not trade for him is because his cap hit is too big and he is apparently a locker room cancer .

  17. Ravens trade 4th Rd pick for Bennett? thoughts??

  18. Josh Shaw is probably my favorite player in the draft. I really really think he has potential to be one of the best CB's in the league honestly.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

I like him better at safety, but I think he should be a great player.

  19. All these re-signings (and the one signing) at safety may mean we won't look for a safety this draft which I'm not necessarily opposed to. I mean we do have Hill, Elan, and Brooks who are still young and very recently drafted, plus we've resigned Levine and newly acquired Lewis, theres a lot of potential in that group, adding another may make us overcrowded

  20. Polamalu more instinctive than Reed? because he jumped over the line one time? by all means lets all forget the 100 other times he tried that move and failed. Polamalu over Reed is a joke.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

@TDubbs Reed didn't actually retire. He said it was an April Fools joke.

  21. who do you take if..Gordon, Strong, Perriman, Maxx Williams, Peters are available at 26?

  22. From ESPN: "The 2015 NFL WR draft class may do more than just match last season's historic group -- it may eclipse it altogether:" Just putting it out there.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

@joeyflex It's hard to see anyone being better than Odell. He really had a historic rookie season. I agree that that this draft has more depth, but I'd take Jordan Matthews over anyone in the second this year.

  23. I won't be surprised if Ozzie decides to go DT in the first. Macolm Brown could be there or Eddie Goldman and both are fantastic players that would fit very well in our defense.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

You have to remember that Goldman does weigh close to 340 lbs. He ain't gonna be very track fast.

Not sure what you are talking about regarding Goldman's por day. Everyone is pretty much saying he did a great job and it helped his draft stock. At 6'4", 336 lbs, he ran a 5.12 40 and "looked quick in positional drills."
