  1. I think we roll with Chykie and Asa this year. We let Chykie want and if Asa does well, we target a CB 3rd to 5th and if JAckson does bad, we target one 1st-2nd.
  2. I guess, but its a decent sized risk
  3. We had to have been. BPA would have made sense with him.
  4. We have Chykie and Asa. Both would be better #3's than a rookie 6th round pick. Weinning could at least give us some assurance if Joe goes down.
  5. I'm not set in stone against it, but I just feel he burns us at the end, kinda like Hernendez did to the Patriots (maybe not murder bad, but ypou get the point)
  6. We can still get Roberson, Hampton, or Purifoy.
  7. We almost got Desir in the 4th round too. the Browns nabbed him only like 4 picks before we took urban.
  8. that the exception rather than the norm. You definitely have to worry about Purifoy, he's a basketcase. He got arrested with bath salts like a month before the draft.
  9. We really don't need either, but after Tyrod's play against NE, we need to try to find someone else to backup Joe.
  10. The fact that the rest of the league pasted seven+ times on Reynolds, Purifoy, and Roberson says something. i think Weinning is a solid backup unlike Taylor. We signed an interesting prospect in Sammy Seamster that could work out for us and I thik we sign/trade for another guy if we don't trust Chykie/Jackson.
  11. I'm torn. I don't want to touch his type of guy, but he could be a great player.
  12. I certainly would take Jernigan over any of the o guys you mentioned. I don't like Andre Williams here, and wouldn't even consider him as a 3rd rounder. Maybe over teams had Crockett rated high as well. We gave a 4th and 5th rounder for Monroe, who is a top 10 tackle. We got Daniels, who has top 10 TE potential is he can stay healthy. Traded for Zuttah, who should be a solid center and didn't give up a sack all season on a bad Tampa Bay O-line. We have a ton of WR depth and we have two young players there our FO really like. I think the main problems last year were KO's injury and the OT (before Monroe) sloppy play.
  13. INTs are important for a FS, but Brooks spent most his time before this year at CB. He will get the INTs up. He is the fastest safety prospect in the whole draft and has a huge coverage range, so that should make up for subpar hands.
  14. I see that we drafted the future leader of our defense, a great 1st round talent DT, a starting caliber FS, a future #2 TE who could put up some good numbers, a rotational guy at DE, a big and very good pass blocking RB that would be a good goaline/3 and short guy, at OG that is at worst extremely solid line depth, a solid backup QB, and a WR that can contribute to ST now and maybe be our future slot guy.
  15. Gradkowski sucked at center, but that was because Shipley was starting next to him and he didn't know the calls. Gradkowski could be a decent guard. Urschel could be a good guard as well.
  16. It's probably a battle between him and Bynes
  17. Zuttah should be a a great player
  18. Stats say he had 33 tackles and 1 INT last year. Might have said he was a costarter as well.
  19. Exactly. i am a little concerned at OT, but i figure we plan to move KO there and have a LG competition. Every other position is really, really deep. We just got screwed over from poor play from Oher and Mckinnie last year as well as KO's injury.
  20. Or KO will
  21. Exactly. After Steve got signed, WR was no longer a need.
  22. Purifoy is back on the table, so we still got him, Roberson, or victor Hampton
  23. I'm not taking Matthews at 17 and he went before 48. Same with Lee. I don't think Robinson would be a #1/#2 day one
  24. I sincerely doubt any rookie receiver going lower than OBJ could have done that. A "higher" rb would have been James White or Devonta Freeman at 99. I think Taliaferro fits better than those two. I think with the Mosely, Jernigan, and Urban, we have to move to a 4-3 (which we play a lot anyway).
  25. If we don't get Roberson, Seamster looks to be a great project CB. He's got the measurables. I like to think he and Hurst are almost locks to make the final roster. I think we could take a rookie punter over Koch as well.
