  1. Agreed. Suggs was one of the best defensive ends in college history. He had like 24 sacks in his last year of college. Only reason he didn't go higher than us at 10 was he ran a slow (4.8) 40 time, which raised some athleticism and work ethic concerns. Nothing against Lawson; he is a fine prospect, but I still wouldn't call him a surefire top 10 without injuries.
  2. My big board goes: 1. Tunsil 2. Stanley 3. Bosa 4. Buckner
  3. Bosa isn't big enough to play SDE in a 4-3 in my eyes. I think his athleticism would be better suited in a 3-4. Pass Coverage isn't a huge deal for a 3-4 OLB, look at Suggs.
  4. Said he wanted to get his degree before he went to the NFL.
  5. Jourdon Lewis is a great player for Michigan. I'd love to have him, but we will have to wait till next year. Tre'davious White looked like a mid-late first rounder in my eyes in the Texas Tech game. My corner rankings personally go: 1. Ramsey 2. Hargreaves 3. Alexander 4. White 5. King
  6. I think Bosa's best comparison is Ryan Kerrigan. I definitely think Bosa would be better suited in a 3-4 at OLB than a 4-3 DE.
  7. This is old new by now, but my boy Hassan Ridgeway declared. He should be a 3rd/4th rounder IMO. He rushes the passer and defends the run very well.
  8. I'm mixed on Carl Lawson. If he went back to school and didn't get hurt, he'd be a high first rounder. If he gets hurt again, he might not be a late day guy. Right now, he is a mid-late second rounder IMO.
  9. In watching the Ohio State/Notre Dame game: Bosa had a stupid hit and then got ejected. He was making his presence felt before hand. I have him as my number three prospect, below Tunsil and Stanley. Darron Lee from Ohio State really impressed me. Incredible Athlete with great instincts. He had a pair of sacks that both greatly impacted the game, as well as the game winning forced fumble. He looked like a first rounder. Ezekiel Elliot continue to prove to be the top running back in the draft. If he tests well at the combine, I could see him going top 10 like Gurley. If its a little more average, he is a top 20 lock in my book. He is a strong runner, but unlike Derrick Henry, he can create his own holes and has very good breakaway speed. He is also a great asset in the passing game, and a very talented pass blocker. Jaylon Smith's injury could lower his stock to the second round. I liked him, but I didn't get the top 10 buzz. I like Myles Jack and Reggie Ragland a little bit better than him. Braxton Miller is an enigma. I feel he was drastically under used by OSU this year and he has the talent to be a really good player in the NFL. Probably a early 4th round type, maybe a third rounder based on the combine. Ronnie Stanley didn't get his test against Bosa and had some false starts. Besides that, he did rather well. Sheldon Day didn't make waves, but didn't get pushed around. He looks like a 3rd rounder to me. Taylor Decker is an imposing figure at 6'8", but he is going to have to play RT in the NFL. He should be a mid-late first rounder. Micheal Thomas looked pretty good, but a really bad dropped touchdown after he burned his man one on one gives me concerns about his hands. He looks like a fringe first rounder, who will likely benefit from a weaker WR class. Nick Varnett shined when given the chance, unfortunately, OSU uses their TEs primarily as blockers. He interests me as a mid round pick in a very weak TE class. Cole Luke had a solid game and I think he is one of the more underrated CBs in college. He played better than Russell the whole year. His height is a problem, however. Apple, Bell, and Powell make a fearsome trio in the Bucks secondary that result in Garveon Conley getting picked on a good bit. All three look like second rounders at least.
  10. I agree with the Stanley pick. Hard to trust Monroe and LT is too valuable of a position to leave up to chance.
  11. I like Jake Butt from Michigan, OJ Howard from Bama, and Hunter Henry from Arkansas a lot. However, all three are juniors and are not locks to declare. I say Butt and Henry are solid 2nd rounders and Howard is a third rounder. I'd say if those three declare, this TE class is better than last years, but thats not saying much.
  12. Ogdah is a legitimate top 10 draft pick in my book. He is probably the best pure pass rusher in the draft and has athleticism to match.
  13. Passing rusher class is a little weak and we definitely need youth at the position. I'd take Bosa if he were there and Hargreaves if he wasn't.
  14. I actually have Zeke as a high-mid first rounder. I think he is a game changer at RB that may not be on Gurley's level, but deserves a top 20 draft pick. His pass blocking is top notch, he is a bull of a runner, and he has some wheels. I get the Cowboys OL was really good, but Smith was also a solid back by his own right. Maybe not Barry level, but still up there.
  15. Yeah my bad
  16. My boy Hassan Ridgeway has continued his high level of play despite the rest of Texas falling around him. He looks like a 3rd/4th rounder in my eyes if he declares, but I suspect he'll return for one more season in Austin.
  17. I agree. This is a legitimately great safety class, which is a godsend after so many atrocious ones.
  18. Treadwell is also exactly what we need. He has great hands and excels in route running. Perriman's game breaking speed combined with Treadwell's consistency could be a great combination.
  19. Oakmen (if he goes first round) is just too easy. I don't see him being that great in the NFL. His fellow DL, Andrew Billings, is an absolute monster and should go in the first half of the first round.
  20. I think Aiken is solidly developing and could possibly be ready for a #2 role next year. With Perriman at the #3 and our talented TEs/Juice, we still are #1 WR away from a good passing offense.
  21. Lawson is easily one of the 5 best players in college football when he is on the field. Problem is, he had had lots of injuries. My personal pick would be Doctson if we end up in the 10-15 range. I'm really digging Buckner, but we have so many talented DL and very clear weaknesses at other positions. You almost have to go BPA in a need position this year.
  22. Garrett is my second overall player (behind Fournette) for 2017. I think he could have been the top overall pick if he was in this draft class. Garrett is pretty much everything Clowney should have been.
  23. He is leading the nation in interceptions with 8 right now. I haven't watched a ton of his tape and I am not saying you are wrong with your analysis, but it seems on the surface level like he has some playmaking abilities.
  24. Goff and Cook both worry me. I feel Goff could end up being very good, but he started throwing a lot of picks. Cook has definitely gained some momentum, but it is hard to determine how good they truly are. I'm firmly set with Paxton Lynch as my #1 QB. I believe he is true top 5 talent.
  25. This. We have needs at so many position, we just need someone who can play.
