  1. Not a fan at all of Vanderdoes. His career is full of injuries and underperformance. I'd be shocked if Allen doesn't go top three, he honestly probably deserves #1 overall status.
  2. I doubt it. Dumervil is likely gone soon, but we still have Suggs, Smith, and Judon with Correa developing. One guy would round that out nicely.
  3. I like the comparison to Paul Richardson for Westbrook, but that bears reminding that I don't think his game completely transfers, like Richardson. He's pretty skinny.
  4. By and far away the best WR is Mike Williams. I'd go far to say he is the only WR that deserves a round 1 grade. He's the only surefire #1 I see in this class.
  5. From my school, Tanzel Smart is a monster. He doesn't get talked about a lot because he plays at Tulane, but he's got good size and great speed. He could be a 3rd round guy potential.
  6. A little confused on the Bengals drafting Cam Robinson in that mock. They still have Whitworth and drafted Ogbeuhi and Fisher in the same draft two years ago.
  7. He's an excellent pass pro back from what I have seen, and I think McShay said that he was one of the best at PP in the class. He does a little work in the receiving game but nothing fancy. I fully expect him to kill the combine. Nobody at his weight (248 lbs) should move as fast as he does.
  8. Very talented but way too short. He's been very solid since then but recently hurt himself and is out for the rest of the season.
  9. All I'm going to say is we need to draft D'onta Foreman before the rest of the league realizes how good he is going to be.
  10. By the time Agholor had come out, I'd already seen what Woods and Lee had done (not mention Lee looked much better than him in college). I was fully expecting a bust. He did look superb, but I mean cmon, USC WR curse.
  11. Big fan of Quinton Nelson in the first. With the lack of tackles, I think Nelson could be mentioned as a top lineman in this class. He is certainly versatile. I don't see Walker being a OLB in the pros. His build and play style scream 4-3 SDE, but I'm not quite sure he has the athleticism to play there. I definitely don't see a Dumervil comp at all. Walker is big and physical, while Doom is much smaller and uses speed and his low center of gravity, even when Doom played 4-3 DE. He lines up a lot with his hand in the dirt and a lot in the inside as well as the outside . Really like the Sutton pick, but I don't think he goes that low. Second round at worst IMO. Not a Price fan at all. He's 6'0", barely and too light. At this point, he will get bullied by NFL caliber tackles. Wise is very inconsistent but I like the pick and think its realistic.
  12. In my opinion, Michael Pierce is talented, but we really don't have anyone behind him. I wouldn't feel comfortable letting Williams walk and just having Pierce and a possible draft pick at NT next year. I agree that we might not be able to keep him, but I don't think Pierce is the be all, end all either.
  13. I do have to say, I find myself watching a lot more SEC football this year because I went south for college and our team (Tulane) is trash. One player I find myself liking a lot is Zach Cunningham from Vanderbilt. He has great size and speed and his near 20 tackle game against Georgia is super impressive. I would not be surprised if he ended up being a first rounder. I also think Daeshon Hall from Texas A&M has improved hmself from the status of second fiddle to Myles Garrett to a fine player in his own right. He should be a later day two pick in a strong edge class. I'd love to get my hands on one of Travin Dural or Malachi Dupre. I think both are at least All-Sec caliber players, but they are criminally underused.
  14. He's a junior, but don't forget Josey Jewell. He's a monster.
  15. He, like Ngata, makes our defense work. He is the key cog in our run defense and a disruptive pass rusher.
  16. Watching Reuben Foster play, that's not surprising at all. He is a freak. Best ILB I've seen in years.
  17. You really think we are going to let Williams walk? He's by far the best player on our defense, I'd be pretty disappointed if they let him go.
  18. I don't know how you could say that after the Ole Miss game. I don't care if Cook fits better, Fournette is the best back since Peterson and possibly better than him. Sure, Cook is a top ten talent, but he's still not on Lenny's level. The only player I would consider taking over Lenny is Myles Garret and I still would probably take Fournette.
  19. Haynes would be in the conversation with Garrett, Barnett, and Lawson if he had more mass in his butt. He's just too light. First round talent, third round body type. I think he goes early second but ends up being an excellent player.
  20. One player who needs to get more love is Texas' D'onta Foreman. I'm not sure he goes to the draft this year due to a loaded RB class and probably wanting to graduate with his brother, but he is a beast. 6'1", 250 lbs of raw power and speed. Clocked a 4.4 40 to get his offer from Texas in high school (he was a lot lighter then, probably 4.5 speed now). He is current second in the nation in rushing yards per game and is as physical as they come. He hits the hole and accelerates, no dancing around. His breakaway speed is truly insane for his size and he does not get caught from behind. I have a day two grade on him right now, but he'd easily be a early/mid 2nd rounder in a different draft class.
  21. The offensive tackle class is terrible. Mike McGlinchey is the only first round graded tackle I have and supposedly he is returning to Notre Dame. Cam Robinson has glaring off the field issues and Roderick Johnson's play has been horrific. Luckily, 2018 OT class is looking pretty good with Mcglinchey, Connor Williams from Texas (very underrated beast), and Mitch Hyatt from Clemson if we need to replace Wagner the year after this one.The center class is nice, with a three piece competition between Pocic, Eiflen, and Orlosky for the title of the best center. This would be the draft to take a center.
  22. Juju is certainly nowhere near a NFL #1. His ceiling is a very good #2. Plus, given the track record, I see nothing encouraging about USC wide receivers.
  23. 1. Brady 2. Rodgers 3. Big Ben 4. Cam Newton 5. Andy Luck Joe is about equal to Phillip Rivers and Russell Wilson. Brees and Palmer are just too old. Nothing against Joe. Those 3/5 guys are HOFers and the other two have the potential to get there as well. I think Joe is a lot better than he has shown due to lack of good WR and OL, but he's not quite on that elite level, just barely below it.
  24. Perriman has had some good and some bad. Thats's to be expected for his first real season. As long as he stays healthy and keeps on giving full effort, I don't see any reason why he can't start to make some drastic improvements as he adjusts to the league.
  25. Trestman just needs to go back to Canada and stay there.
