    I can't imagine going back to the way things were before  Joe was drafted that's nightmarish. If Schaub comes out and reverts to probowl form then good he can find a new starting job in the offseason. if not then we pray Joe has a speedy recovery and the season ends quickly!

    I disagree here...  a precedent needs to be set, refs need to be punished, and "a game" needs to be corrected.  If for no other reason to tell the fans, that spend all this money, put all this revenue into the cities and the pockets of owners, players, and the like, that this isn't and won't be tolerated.

     

    Mike and Mike were saying this today.  That people lose jobs over wins and losses.  You guys have said it yourselves.  Fire Pees, Fire Harbaugh..  Have there been a BAZILLION mistakes this season???  Absolutely.

     

    But to put a game in the hands of a referee that can determine the outcome of ANY GAME, not just ours, isn't right.  I always go back to the integrity of the game...  and if you look around the league this season ALONE, let along last season, and the playoffs last year...  you'll find that the referees are just way sub-par.

    I think we both know what I meant . The officials extended the game to ensure a jaguars victory. The whole thing was ridiculous it didn't matter that we were flagged for a facemask penalty the game should have been over at that point.

    My dad was a colts fan having four older brothers it was natural to watch football. I remember when the colts left town my father said "Make sure you support the next football team we get win or lose ". My dad was still alive when we got the ravens had a psl first live game I watched I was hooked . I have two sons in college both play football so now I am really learning about football and love it even more .

    The topic of "tanking" is going to be a prevailing sentiment among fans, but I couldn't disagree more and it is going to be a common theme in my posts from here on out. Tanking for a high draft pick is not a good approach. Teaching young players how to give up and lose cannot be a part of the lesson plan. 

     

    You play to win the game ... period. Nothing less than 100% effort must be demanded next week or in week 17. Clean up this self-destructive, undisciplined play NOW. Sit anyone that isn't performing, no matter what their salary is and play guys that play like they want to win. 

     

    If we do those things - and lose ... fine. Then we get the draft pick we get.
