Dallas traded a 6th rounder to us for Rolando MCCLAIN, Elam is certainly tradeable.

Pollard is old now and a SS coming off Achilles tear. No thanks. Even still he is better than Elam. Ozzie swallowed his pride over C Gradkowski after 1 year, I think he is doing the same with Elam now. We are seeing evidence of that.

Um no. Jimmy has athletic ability, speed and length. Elam has none of that and isn't very bright or can't tackle to boot. Trade him for a sixth, dump his 1 million salary, use that pick to draft the top punter, cut Koch and save about 4 million in cap space in the process. Then make moves with that freed up money.

Better to get something for Elam a late draft pick and get rid of salary. Some one will take him on and thinks he can be get better.

Good pickup. Ravens should try to trade Elam for a 6th or 7th rounder.

There's a lot of debate as to whether the ball boy could deflate the 12 footballs in 90 seconds is silly. Of course he could. But that's not the point I want to make.

 

How about why are you going to the bathroom at that exact moment? Everything in carefully scheduled. You do the same thing at the same time every week and you choose to go to the bathroom while you are taking the footballs out to the field. I don't know about anyone else but that seems goofy. I would go either before or after...you know when I don't have two large bags of footballs to deal with. Crazy huh?

Ravens usually only sign RELEASED Free agents, so not to lose comp picks. Wait til salary cap cuts are made.

Jimmy Smith is way different. He was top 10 talent wise but offeild alcohol and pot history made him fall. You can see Smith has great talent, Elam isnt even a great athelete. This is what happens when you draft need over BPA.

Boller, Elam, Oher and Travis Taylor all need picks...always take BPA, reguardless of position outside of Qb if you got one. Then find a place for him.  Sorry didnt see Elam play in college i Live in LA.

Not only is he awful at tackling, bad angles and coverage but he isnt even a good athelete... i Never saw him play in college but i just dont know what they saw in him.

Complete bust..rewatched the NE game missed tackle after mistackle and was benched in the 2nd half. Worst first round pick excluding Boller. Adding a real safety is team priority number 1. If he Wasnt a first rounder he would likely make the team next season.

The cap figure already includes the rollover and ERFAs and rule of 51. The have at least 9.5 million or so to work with before cuts or restructures.

Ngata isnt worth 8.5 million, period.. Webb will restructure..They will have after those adjustments plenty of cap Room. Ravens defense was better statistically and visually with Jernigan playing over Ngata. Williams is better than Ngata now anyway. In the new NFL it is pointless to start TWO 330lb run stuffers. Ngata is living on past accolades. He is a luxury ítem now, not a 8.5 million cap eating monster.

For you "need drafters"...what need do the Ravens really have? Maybe one lineman a Guard or R tackle? They will acquire RT or G of they need one by seasons start. To me they Loaded up on lots of REAL TALENT. I can see 4 future solid starters from this group and good depth. Best draft in many a year.

Best draft they have had in terms of pure talent in many years. Like the Campanaro pick in the end...plenty of depth and upside in this group. Might see 4 future starters from this group. Grades mean nothing but my favorite draft in years.

If you gavé more than 1 rookie starter your team usually is bad. Remember that.

Gilmore is 6'6 260. Good blocker with reliable hands, not a burner but can do both. Kubiak and Ozzie know TEs. He is a huge man.

I know I missed something now we replaced three lineman from last year who and with whom ? I know oher is gone but I don't recall seeing anyone else being signed or replaced . oher has not been replaced either. your

correct we have the exact same offense as last year with smith and daniels in for clark and stokley there is

absolutely no reason as all to think we can't finish like we did last year . and most of the idiots know Justin tucker is not going to beat either manning brees , or brady .

KO is back 100% and flipping 500 lb tires. Oher was awful. Oher, GG and Shipley were all awful. Wagner was probably much better than Oher last year, but they werent going to bench him.

Last year i didnt like our draft when it happened cause they focussed on need. SS Elam isnt à FS, Lb Brown wasnt big enough and DT Williams was too green. This year they added REAL TALENT. BPA is the way to go when you go for need you end up with Gradkowskis and Ohers and Codys.

For those complaining about the offense. Did you notice they let go of 3 awful lineman and replaced them with C Zuttah and KO is back? Also second year players Jensen and Wagner might battle it out for a spot. Rice is in shape now, not 15lbs overweight and Pierce was hurt. Then they Signed Owen Daniels AND Steve Smith. Pitta is back also. Then Marlon Brown is in his 2nd year also. Plus they resigned Jacoby. Oh....they also have a new OC in Kubiak. What else you want? Plus, they still have 4 picks tomorrow. They drafted a TE and have developmental players in Juice, Mellete and Furstenberg.

I think Kubiak and Ozzie know something about TEs. I like West but is more of what we already have. I hope the take RB Freeman tommorrow, jitterbug do it all type.
