  1. I'm not sure if this warrants a new thread but it seems like the other one was nothing but people bashing, and I'll admit I was one of them, but after cooling down a bit I decided to re-review Perriman and go re-watch some tape of him and here's what I saw:

    The Good:

    A++ Size/speed (obviously).

    I was quick to say his hands were awful and he had some bad drops but I believe his hands are already more developed than Torrey smith's he already catches the ball with his hands which is more than Torrey did coming out.

    And while his routes need work(not much worse than jaelen strong) he still runs a more complex route tree than Devin smith.

    He's is more physical than Torrey is he can go up and get it and make tough catches at times.

    Another note would be his QB last year was awful, he under threw him on multiple occasions.

    We saw a run on wideouts in the late first round and I believe it's going to carry over into the second round leaving any chance to get a WR in the second very slim if we didn't take perriman.

    All in all I was quick to label Perriman, mostly due to the fact I believed there were better players on the board but that's just my opinion and I fully trust Ozzie even with his wideout track record, I'm gonna hold anymore bad judgement agaisnst Perriman until I see him play and I urge others to do the same, he needs quite a bit of work but if our staff can develop him he has #1 potential, he's not just a Torrey smith clone.

    I was right their with you last night I was disapointed but this today after going back and reading what Ozzie and Co gathered I am feeling a lot better about the pick and can't wait to see how he plays this year

  2. Jimmy's problems were easily correctable and more a function of needing to adjust to defending NFL receivers and offenses. (Not turning head to play the ball, not biting on double moves)

    Elam looks lost on 99.99% of all plays. Can't tackle, can't cover.

    Yet still called a bust and many wanted to throw him out of Baltimore.  All I am saying is wait and see.  If he has not improved by his final year i will admit I was wrong but until then I will wait and see

  3. He will block and truck people, while Pitta is faster and more finesse.

    Thats the only reason i like him.  Thank god for Pitta.  While i would like Lyerla to get a chance i believe we could use more tight end competition.  I don't get why people are so high on Furstenburg yeah he had a good preseason but so did Laquan Williams and look how that went

  4. Watch Gilmore, I think he is a great future #2 to Pitta.

    I watched a lot of film on Gilmore and yes he might become a good TE.  I just wish he was faster, I don't think he will be able to get open with nfl level players
