  1. I am starting to get a little impatient and annoyed with the front office because I know Ozzie is a great GM and all, but they have had several opportunities to sign some quality defensive players and are letting them go to division rivals (Tramon Williams) I just want them to fill defensive holes and draft offense. I don't want to anticipate the draft and then have them take a pass rusher or DL or CB in the first round when they could have filled these holes better in FA. We need playmak...

My question is, why trade ngata and free up all this space if you're not going to use it?

No, I'm not saying they should have payed him anywhere near as much as the Browns did, but I have a feeling the Ravens aren't pursuing these guys as much as those teams. Also, there's been other guys like perish cox that was cheaper and they could've easily afforded. I just feel like they DO need to spend a little more in order to improve the secondary or defensive line. Unless they are planning on targeting that position in the first round which i would really oppose because...

Have either of you guys heard of a TE named Jean Sifrin? Just found some things online, he will be 28 when drafted but has a lot of athleticism and could be a late round steal.

Oh yeah i was thinking of safety. But at the same time i am all for the FO taking a CB in the second or third but we really need to go WR or TE in the first. Jalen Collins is not worth a first in my opinion and Marcus Peters has off the field issues tho undeniable talent.

we need a playmaker in the first round WR or TE and even in the second and third rounds!! This is one of the worst classes for CBs and I really don't want them to take a LB or DE, it is a waste of a pick in my opinion.

  6. I feel like something is brewing....It was one year ago from tomorrow that we signed Steve Smith Sr. Could tomorrow be the day we get a couple acquisitions like Stevie Johnson, Dwyane Bow, Scott Chandler, and/or Kenny Stills?

at this point they should draft either maxi williams or clive walford, it would be awesome if we could go WR round 1 at 26, then trade up early 2nd and take Williams!!

  7. The Ravens are reportedly interested in Terrence Knighton. I had a feeling once we traded Ngata. If he comes cheaper than Ngata would be a great replacement and give us flexibility in the draft! Come here Pot Roast!!

Definitely not at 8 mil, but if he lowers his asking price, as I heard the only team interested with that kind of money to offer are the redskins. He might take less to come to a stable organization like us.

Does the front office think highly of Housler? I hope they do lol no one is talking about the guy should be extremely cheap.

@hn68wb4 How is TE not a major hole? Gilmore had 100 yards receiving. The next best TE was Daniels who only had 500. We need better production from the position and we can't rely on Pitta.

idk why but I think you are right ravensnick. I could even see a possible 1 year prove-it type deal to cash in more next year, which if he's cheap I wouldn't mind the one year rental and then a mid-round pick to develop.

  11. Could the Ravens bring back Cary Williams? They would have Webb, Smith, and Cary. But Ravens asked Webb to take pay cut, and now he's on the hot seat money wise.

We kind of have to if torrey, justin, and daniels are all gone, we will have no choice but to pick offense first which i really really don't mind lol

Cary Williams would be the perfect #3 CB on the roster. Those who say he regressed he did not, he was the #1 corner in philly, and I know they had a terrible secondary but Williams is more than capable of being the number 2 or 3 option,

and his attitude adds a dimension to the secondary that has been missing. He would be great, and although it is a BPA mentality i guarantee we would take mostly offense with our top 3 picks if we add him.

  13. Andre Johnson or Kenny Britt to the Ravens, I think one will likely happen. Britt rather than Johnson. for $$$ reasons

    1. juanman7

      juanman7

I hope they are considering Britt. He has the size and he has expressed interest in playing for the Ravens and with a true contender and above average (in the least) quarterback, he will thrive!! Tho AJ wouldn't be too bad either!!

Yeah honestly most fans here are pretty bandwagon. You got broncos, seahawks, niners, and steelers fans and although not all of those teams are powerhouses right now you get the sense that they are just fans for no real reason.

I think Daniels, Forsett, and Torrey all walk, and we get an FA WR and Draft WR and FA TE and draft RB

  18. Ravens met with only 4 DB's. PJ Williams, Marcus Peters, Kevin Johnson, Quandre Diggs. Lets see who they narrow down their interests with Private interviews.

    1. juanman7

      juanman7

I don't know, last year they met with a ton of wide receivers and tight ends early and they took a tight end in the late third and receiver in the 7th so we won't know their plans until draft day.

      juanman7

@pechillo, having thought about it, I agree they won't spend big money to sign McCourty because there's always the risk that he won't play up to that contract that another team will definitely give him. However, I do think we could go heavy on offense this year, because like I said and people agree with this, this team cannot rely on rookies in the secondary. This is a weak safety class on top of this. So though they might get a cornerback in the first 3 rounds, I think every othe...

Well according to PFF Rolle was worse than Elam last season...I just can't believe any safety played worse. I think we should spend some and get a McCourty or one of the top guys and cornerback, then draft offense first 4 rounds then get some late defensive picks. I just don't think we can afford to rely on rookies in the secondary, but on offense we need the youth.

  23. So sick of hearing doug baldwin try to argue that he is anything other than average. The guy has 15 TDs in 4 seasons and never once passed 850 yards. He is trying to be like Sherman, playing with a "chip" on his shoulder. The difference is Sherman can back up his talk.

    1. juanman7

      juanman7

Golden Tate never surpassed 898 yards and only had 15 TDs in his time with the seahawks...and you saw how he was a different receiver with the Lions

Yea but his team almost always has a run heavy game plan. If he had more opportunities with an offense like Green Bay or Denver's past two seasons, he could be a greater receiver
