I am starting to get a little impatient and annoyed with the front office because I know Ozzie is a great GM and all, but they have had several opportunities to sign some quality defensive players and are letting them go to division rivals (Tramon Williams) I just want them to fill defensive holes and draft offense. I don't want to anticipate the draft and then have them take a pass rusher or DL or CB in the first round when they could have filled these holes better in FA. We need playmak...

      No, I'm not saying they should have payed him anywhere near as much as the Browns did, but I have a feeling the Ravens aren't pursuing these guys as much as those teams. Also, there's been other guys like perish cox that was cheaper and they could've easily afforded. I just feel like they DO need to spend a little more in order to improve the secondary or defensive line. Unless they are planning on targeting that position in the first round which i would really oppose because...

      My question is, why trade ngata and free up all this space if you're not going to use it?

      For one, Ngata was not worth the contract, and the cap hit was simply unrealistic for what he was giving us, especially given we have guys on the roster that are playing well in his spot. Number 2, we needed cap room to possibly sign some of our current FAs and/or extend deals of guys who will be FAs n 2016. 3, you always need cap space for injuries, street signings, and drafted players. 4, Rice's dead money was already an albatross that we couldn't escape from.
