Hope he works out better than McClain. McClain was drafted even higher in the first round and all the same good things were said about him. He won't help the team much this year, barring injury, but could work well in the long run.
McClain was not drafted by the Ravens. Our franchise is known for grooming and developing linebackers. I can't remember the last time we drafted or signed a linebacker who was not effective. Jarret Johnson, Peter Boulware, Bart Scott, Terrell Suggs, Jamie Sharper, Adalius Thomas, Dannell Ellerbe. When guys do leave our team they usually make big money somewhere else, and become starters. This guy will be another great product of our franchise. This was a great pick.
I'm not that surprised at this pick. Allot of our fans have forgotten that we like to keep allot of LB's. Our 2000 Superbowl team had Ray Lewis, Peter Boulware, and Jamie Sharper who all were pro bowl caliber players. I think our FO knows what they are doing and will also fill the rest of our needs tomorrow. I have complete faith in my franchise that has existed since 1996 and has been a consistent playoff contender along with two Superbowl rings. They is still allot of draft to go.
This is actually a very good pick up guys. I remember really liking him back when he was in college and he extremely athletic. We now can do any number of things. We can put Kelechi Osemele at right tackle and Zuttah at left guard, or switch them. Would could even possibly put Zuttah at center and give one of our young guys a shot at tackle or guard.
THANK GOD!!! We have our LT of the future and we got him for a great price. He is young and extremely talented. We can get a right tackle from other means but we needed to lock this guy up. Great job to our staff.

Well it has been interesting so far. The NFL analyst have us in the top ten for draft grade. We must be doing something right even if our fans don't agree with all our picks. I actually agree with the selection of defensive players first. We took the off season to build our offense up by resigning players and adding guys like Steve Smith and Owen Daniels. We also signed our LT for years to come and kept Jacoby Jones. Joe Flacco will have to use all these weapons and move the offense.
