Great effort guys, not.
Flacco just has a "whatever" attitude after that terrible INT. The backfoot throwing is much more important than some realize. It's a microcosm of him not trying his best. Losing, while obviously he'd prefer to win, doesn't eat him up. He loves the cash.
Sampras said that losing his first grand slam so badly made him a better player. Losing made him sick, and he practiced like crazy to get better.
5 members online an hour before game time. People really are jumping ship.
replyin to a sarcastic remark with another sarcastic remark Is rich. But I'm also being sarcastic so this whole post is rather redundant huh
Those 2 boneheaded penalties he caused on third down could have very well cost us the game. A divisional game...And in this league one game can certainly be the difference in going to the playoffs or going home. So the sarcastic remark actually had a bit of truth to it. Although you could say the same thing about the roughing the passer on guy, the missed feild goal, the failed 2 pt conversion etc etc.
Yeah it's not going to matter after we have 4 wins by the end oft he year.
The playoffs.
Yes, Babin's the reason we're not going to the playoffs this year, hahahaha.
That's rich!
It's not right seeing Torrey in a 49er uniform. Pitta only got 8 million less (32m) and we know how great that contract was. Makes me sick.
Well since the "season's over" you guys might as well turn off the TV and go about your merry way. No need in being upset every Sunday, right?
However, if you go to turn your TV back on during the playoffs and happen to notice the Ravens playing the dark horse roll as a wild card - just remember - you're not allowed to root or celebrate for them because you revoked your fan card in week 5 of the regular season. Wah, wah, wah....
No worries though, after the playoffs are over you can always reapply for a new seat on the bandwagon. Hell you might even be able to get a window view the way everyone is jumping ship.
cheerios fairweather fans
lol that was funny. I appreciate your attitude.
Some people just can't admit we suck. I'm not saying the season's over, but realisticly it is. This team has shown nothing and there's too many injuries. I can't root for anymore wins, as it will only get us a worse pick in the draft. We should be 0-5, and that was against some very average teams. We're going to get blown out when we play better teams.
I think Babin was cut more because he just couldn't pick up the defense. He was here for some time (a month?) and still wasn't seeing a lot of game action. When he was out there, I wouldn't say he was very effective. He was OK. I thought he was at least decent, but he made some bad penalties and perhaps we just didn't want the young guys to be around him and pick up on those type of penalties by watching him?
I hope we take a look at Freeney. Or maybe make a trade for someone.
He at least pushed the pocket in and wasn't getting stood up. It was a classless move to cut Babin over a penalty when he's not even the reason we lost. Guy had a huge penalty also. Babin is still on the team without it.
This ranks second behind what they did to Boldin.
Defense's new nickname is "Box of Chocolates", as in, you never know what you're gonna get. No, I do not mean ethnicity. I mean Forrest Gump. LOL.
We know what we're getting, and it's rotten. Every piece also causes choking.
Ozzie still picks through it thinking it might taste nice, but it never does.

Cutting Babin is a joke. This is a pathetic attempt take your anger and fustration out and personify it on an expandable guy because your team sucks. The pathetic collapse in the 2nd half against the Browns isn't his fault. The season is done anyways, no need to shake up the roster.
He also looked good to me out there and he was great depth.
The Great Wall Of Words.
Let's bow and worship it. You are now our new wizard of oz!
I wasn't surprised at all. I said Forsett would have 125 yards (he had 121 yards) and Aiken would get 100 (78 yards, he totally disappeared the 2nd half), but I felt we'd still lose. I did think we'd win by halftime. There's not enough talent in key areas and Joe makes too many key mistakes for us to win with this roster.
Some fans insist that this offense is good. Who cares if they put up 30 against the Browns' bad defense. Haden didn't even play the second half, and we looked terrible. We didn't even put up 20 against the Bengals, considering one TD was by Mosley.
they want us to be like the lions and draft wrs every year in the 1st and hope 1 ends up like megatron....
Oh yeah take it to the extreme. From 2007 until 2011 there were no WR's selected in the first 3 rounds by us. There has been one selected since 2011. That's incredibly low.
Since 1999 we've only drafted 2 CBs in the first 3 rounds, Webb and Jimmy Smith. Not drafting another one in 4 years is a problem for this team now.
We have no idea in what we have in Perriman and Torrey wasn't bad. Funny how people bad mouthed him when he was here. Remember, he was the reason Joe threw all those picks...
In that same span we've picked up WRS which has worked out much better than trying to draft a position we don't seem to scout or develop well. Not for nothing, but when Clayton went to the Rams, he didn't look too bad until he was injured.
I was refering to the tiny amount of WR's we've selected in the first 3 rounds since 2005, not the players.
Its 7 out of 27 players in the first three rounds (roughly 25%).
Given that there's about a dozen or so positions you could take in the draft, I certainly don't think its an unreasonable number.
4 WR's drafted in first 3 rounds since 2005. That's pathetic.
Mark Clayton
Yamon Figurs
Torrey Smith
Breshad Perriman
Just so we can put this myth to bed...
Since 2008 (Harbaugh era), Ravens have selected 67 players in the draft:
10 WRs, 5 Safeties, 6 Corners. Of those 21 guys taken, 7 of them were taken in the first three rounds of the draft.
We've had six first round picks during that period, and 50% of those picks (3 players) have been a WR, safety, or corner (Jimmy, Perriman, Elam).
We've ATTEMPTED to address the issue via the draft. We just haven't been overly successful with some of those picks.
I specifically said the "lower rounds." I don't care if we've drafted a bunch of guys like Doss, Streeter, Marlon Brown, Campanaro in the later rounds. That's not enough.
This is Jimmy Smith's fifth season, and Elam never lived up to anything. That's not enough drafting in the lower rounds in a huge gap of time.
Another spoiled fan that feels winning is an entitlement.
I haven't liked Ozzie's approach of picking up free agent secondary scrubs every year. The lack of drafting WR/CB/SS/FS in the lower rounds for years is why we're having problems.
Why aren't guys like Brooks allowed to develope over other teams' scrubs for playing time? Ozzie only drafted a WR when it was a serious problem. Besides this year we've drafted a WR, Torrey Smith in the lower rounds, and I can't remember another one in the last 7 years.
Yeah, way too much hindsight. He's also acting like Rice was some scrub.Too much hindsight here that accomplishes nothing for anybody. Always convenient to say "you should have drafted this guy" AFTER you've seen what that guy could do.
As for the contracts, again in hindsight, some of them didn't work out. Rice's contract was never realistically that bad, as much like Ngata's deal, I didn't hear barely any fans saying it was bad in 2011 and 2012 when his cap number was low enough that we were able to assemble legitimate SB contending and eventually SB winning teams.
Can we say for certainty that we win the SB in 2012 if those contracts are different or those players aren't even here? Nope, we can't. Without knowing that Rice would knock out his wife, we have no idea how things play out. What I do know is no realistic fan would trade the 2012 season so we could not be 1-4 in 2015.
The Pitta contract was a joke. I still can't believe he got 32 million after that type of hip injury. I was thinking we'd get him for cheap, but nope. Pitta thinking he was still worth that much after that type of injury is pure arrogance. I felt that way when we re-signed him. I doubt any team would have paid anything close to that. 32 million was too much money for the risk.
I was always fine with Rice's contract. There's a level of arrogance that this organization shows with Rice handling that I can't stand. We're terrible with Rice still eating up cap, so why not have him back. They're sitting back like we're good, and have the luxery of picking and choosing over pr. We're not better with Rice off the team.
Rice is still a great option on 3rd down check downs. I don't care if he only gets 1 yard or 1 3rd down. At least it's something for all the money against the cap.
Pack your bags Steve!

Ted Monachino gets my vote for new DC.
Even the lurkers are coming out of the woodwork with torches over Pees lol.
Dean "Frankenstein" Pees is doing all he can with these scrubs.
Lol okay Mr. Pees.
Re-watch them. They just can't cover.
Pees is a lame scapegoat for this organization's stupid idea of getting scrub secondary free agents every year instead of letting young guys like Brookes develope. Just like some fans want Babin gone for his penalty. He's not the reason we lost or suck.
When's the last time we've drafted WR/CB/SS/FS in the lower mid rounds (2nd/3rd) besides Brookes in years. We hardly ever do it. It's always Ozzie's stupid idea to get band-aid secondary scrubs in free agency.
Lewis and Arrington were decent beforehand, now awful.
Stewart was garbage here, now balling in Denver.
Ihedigbo and Graham were pretty decent for us but are even better for Detroit and Buffalo.
Even our very own Matt Elam showed promise his rookie year with Austin and completely regressed last year.
To me that's a pattern.
Stewart isn't balling, he just made a few big plays at the end of games. Arrington was benched in New England and was their 5th corner. Lewis wasn't decent either.
Stop spewing this non-sense.

My "blah blah blah we suck" post on this thread got deleted. I've seen Sami's stuff deleted also, even though he broke none of the rules. I received no warning posts, so I obviously didn't break the rules.
This forum is going down hill.
