Fire Pees and this better be Trestmans last season !
I agree with you 100% on Pees, but honestly I'd rather they keep Trestman. Flacco and the offense needs to have the same coordinator at some point for more than a year. Continually learning a new system every year is only going to slow any potential progress for the offense
Ravens will make the what??????
first overall pick
I just dont get it. When you continually fail for three years at something in any other job you get fired, but when the Ravens Defense cant get a stop for three years Pees is still here. You see what new blood can do, just look at the falcons. Harbaugh needs to make a move. I understand there are injuries but Pees just throws out the same scheme every game and it more often than not doesnt work
This is hilariously embarrassing
We have drafted well with defensive studs and some how we still suck on defense and it looks like it has gotten worse and worse over the last few years that tells me its the scheme of Pees He is the problem he needs to go
Issue is we've only continually drafted studs in the front 7. With the exception of Jimmy, what guys in the secondary has Ozzie drafted anytime recently that have helped this team
Who hasn't shut down the Eagles?
The saints
Its funny because we all say how the offense struggles because of no consistency from the coordinator...Well we've had consistency with the D coordinator and the defense continually has the same struggles...I think its time for a change. I mean the Redskins vs the eagles last week Redskins had a ton of injuries and way less talent than Ravens and they shut down the Eagles offense especially in the first half
It seems like every quarterback can make that quick throw on a blitz except Flacco
I've tried to be positive but I don't think I can hide it now...95 yard TD drive coming up?
Unbelievable...you get 9 yards on first down and go 3 and out
This secondary is embarrassing
Horrible job by Flacco there
I wish we'd see some more short quick passes or screens on first down...this getting way behind the chains on first down with the poor o-line blocking is just destroying drives
givens was wide open, get him involved!
Seriously Givens had about 2 steps there Flaccos gotta let him run under that
I think the one thing that worries me is being confident to a fault. I really share with Omerta's sentiment, however we see this is really 3 years in a row now where Ozzie has been confident in a certain position group even though it wasn't that strong to begin with and was one injury away from real trouble: 2013 O-line, 2014 Secondary, this years WRs. The issue is you see a lot of these big splash free agents not live up to their contracts, so making a huge splash isn't always the answer either. I would just like to see a little more proactivity when there is a clear position group that is likely to struggle.
Now he fixed the o-line a year later, hes somewhat fixed the secondary a year later, so hopefully the WRs gets fixed next year; but I don't like fixing problems the year after they occur I want proactive plans to at least reduce issues the year they may arise. Even with Perriman, again he would be a rookie asked to do a lot and was (is) one injury away from not playing.
didn't read the rest of the posts, but a youtube vid from 2012 suggests he could have the same skillset as a former pittsburgh steeler that i do'nt care for. i'm inclined to believe in his potential, but since i do'nt know his injury history, i wonder if he's slowed down or lost confidence while on the rams. i remember targeting him in fantasy in recent years but he's not on the radar for most football fans. hopefully we can chalk this up to his being on the rams.
i also saw him in an old interview.. hopefully he's found a chip on his shoulder that needs severe brushing
I actually don't think Givens has really been injured in his career, hes played 15, 16, 14, and every game this year so far. Going from Bradford to Foles the idea may be right that he just hasn't had a big armed quarterback to take advantage of his speed. Something of a reverse effect with the Ravens early in Flacco's career where the Ravens had no wide receivers where Flacco could take advantage of his arm. In any event, here's to hoping a fresh start brings a new fire to Given's game.
I guess giving up 12 points to Peyton Manning isn't very good...
Any Ravens fans in the Philly area/western suburbs (Ardmore area) watching the game on Sunday?
Lmao at us trading a player that was cut for a fourth rounder. Amazing.
We did give up a 5th round pick as well, not taking anything away because us with a 4th round pick is awesome, just saying we also lost a pick there
You're not kidding, that kid is electric!! 5'7 is a problem though. Still, 233 PR yards in 1 game is impressive. Should have been more too, he had one come back on a hold.
Ha, I said this way earlier. That kid is just absolutely electric and played a 6 foot WR all day and I'm not sure he gave up a catch to him. I already want him
Interesting news, Giants are releasing Jameel McClain, is he better than Orr, Brown, or McClellan?
LB Jameel McClain has been let go according to a source.
I can tell you right now, the Ravens should just sign Will Likely of Maryland to the roster right now. He has 193 return yards
Wonder if the Ravens are going to have to compete with the Steelers for any secondary help, did not know their 2nd round pick Golson is out for the year
I don't see anywhere yet where the terms have been released. I'd have to think it will be a conditional late-round pick for next year. Not sure who the 49rs have that we'd want to put on our roster right now. It just feels like we're getting what we can from a player who would otherwise have been released.
maybe we'll get back Anquan Boldin...

I'd like to get the 6th pick and get either Ramsey or Hargraves, really need some young blood in this secondary. Jimmy and Hill are the only two players worth a damn
