  1. If all Joe cares about is winning.......he must be FURIOUS.

I think Joe has his deficiences no doubt, but I think one underrated way he's tried to be a leader is ever complaining about the lack of weapons.  I think Joe cares very much about winning but doesn't want to be the guy to essentially say "Media, you're all right, my weapons suck."  I wish Flacco would go to Ozzie and say I'll never restructure the contract you gave me unless you show me you have weapons that are already bringing in with the money you'll save on me

  2. Defense gave good effort until that.

I thought offense's effort was good all game really, but holy cow Trestman (and Harbs's influence) can't call an offense to save their lives. Just horrible.

To me this loss is on coaching. The staff needs to be cleaned out.

The Issue I see, and I hear it a lot being in the Philly area, is Harbaugh seems very similar to James Franklin of Penn State.  Harbaugh is a great motivator and a very rah rah guy, but he just isn't that sound Xs and Os type of coach.  And those guys can absolutely win and Harbaugh has shown that, but in order for guys like that to win you need to surround yourself with great coaches.  I think Harbaugh is a very good coach and I am not calling for his job, but I think he needs to do something, anything, hell bring up 2 no name college coaches for OC and DC if they are innovative and will bring fresh air, to get talent in the coaching staff.  Harbaugh is a very good leader but doesn't seem to be a great football offensive or defensive strategist and needs sound minds around him to teach the finer points of the game

  3. Harbs has stated he's happy with the coaches and won't be making any changes

Honestly I don't think it will be Harbaugh's decision.  Bisciotti said if the Ravens have another down season he's going to come out from behind the scenes and start demanding changes.  Harbaugh and Ozzie better listen to the boss or they may find themselves let go.  Biscotti and the front office obviously have a great relationship, but the NFL is a business and Steve is a business man.  Unlike Harbaugh, Steve doesn't seem like the guy who will let a friendship come before a successful nfl team

  4. I think we are much more than a single piece away as a team.

I agree, but trading one pick is the same as drafting one player.  Whats the difference between drafting a WR in the first round or trading one pick for one. Now if they release Monroe and draft a LT thats a different story...I was also more just being sarcastic about the current state of our WRs

  5. It is true..........his long ball has been misjudged often...........he can throw it further, he just isn't doing it when he has to.

I honestly think it has a lot to do with the revolving door.  He knows Givens is fast, but without working with him hardly at all it's difficult to know exactly how fast.  Say what you want about Torrey, and obviously Flacco didn't connect with him every time but they were more accurate together because Flacco knew Torrey's speed and where he would be

  6. It's kind of a funny coincidence if you think about it.  Harbuagh was with the Eagles under Reid who refused to get a big time WR for the Eagles for years except for one year with TO.  Now Harbaugh and Ozzie seem to be doing the same thing with either an inability to draft a true game changer at WR or refuse to pay the money to sign one.  Probably nothing to this but a funny coincidence nonetheless

  7. I wonder what Bisciotti is going to do. I remember after the 8-8 season he said hes a very behind the scenes owner but if the Ravens have another poor season like that he is going to start demanding change.  Do you think he forces the firing of Pees? Forces Ozzie to sign a high profile WR? Forces Ozzie to draft a CB high? The last time Bisciotti really wanted someone was 2008 when he wanted Matt Ryan but Ozzie convinced him to trade back and grab Flacco...I just wonder what Steve is going to do this time.

  8. Excuse me but the secondary has not been fixed. AND, if it ain't broken, make it better. Ozzie has been reactive versus proactive and it dates back several years. He waited too long to draft an understudy for Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Torrey Smith among others. Those players could have helped groom their replacements. It is nice to see Dennis Pitta coaching up our three young TEs. It is expensive but it will pay dividends in the long run, hopefully.

I agree with you, that's why i said I want proactive plans not how Ozzie has been doing it recently

  9. The reason I want Pees gone is not because all the problems are his fault, but at some point you need to hold people accountable and show that when something just hasn't worked, they wont be kept just because.  Firing Pees isn't all the answers but it's a start. I'd love the Ravens to try and find someone with some fresh ideas.  I mean Spags is back as the Giants DC and the Giants defense isnt the best but playing with fire and energy and much better than last year.  A new face can lead to a new culture on defense and something needs to change to get the Ravens back.  I'm tired of the "We're frustrated too this is unacceptable we have to play better."  That excuse doesn't work every single week at some point there needs to be a change and actually show the team you mean it: play with fire, energy, and effort and get better each week or your gone

  10. He does and then guys get beat. Plays off and they get beat. In zone open holes and no pressure. Also, guys are there to make the tackle, but never seem to. In man guys run past the defender with no tackler near. I can't blame it all on him, but at this point, something has to be done.

Exactly.  It obviously isnt all his fault but something needs to be done. I felt like Harbaugh kinda called Pees out in the preseason when he went on his I'd like a stop on a two minute offense in 8 years. Pees obviously hasn't done that so far this year.  It's not all on him but at some point you need to bring in someone new and get some energy into this team
