  1. With our history in the 2nd round if he is still there I would take him.  Should be back sometime during the season and may be a boost for stretch run.  Does he even last until the ravens pick in the 2nd?

  2. We failed too many times on 1st & goal this year to even think about fooling around at the goal line. Juice, that was a great play.

    Here's where are problems are...
    1. Draft - we have this obsession of collecting draft picks. What good is 12 picks when you have to cut six of them. When you get those picks, use them to trade up. We need playmakers!
    2. Team philosophy - we espouse a pound the rock philosophy, but in words only. Apparently, we don't mean what we say or everyone has not bought in. Everyone has to be on the same page.
    3. H.C. - I'm not down on Harbs as much as some fans are. I just wish he would take a course on clock management.
    4. O.C. - why can't we get a good one? One that can mesh with Joe.
    5. Adaptability - why can't we make half time adjustments like other teams seem to do?
    6. Game attitude - we have no killer instinct!!

Just need to trade our 2nd and 3rd rounders to try and get back in the first because 2nd round for some reason ozzie can't pick anyone worth a crap. 2nd round pick should be instant contributor. 4th round saved this last draft.

Does anyone know what really happened with the "unsportsman " call on the Ravens bench ?

Not to stir the pot, but has anyone said that it is the fault of the natural turf that Watson tore his achilles ?

We have fantastic depth at RB.  Dixon will not be rushed back.

This.  What could get harbs riled up enough to get a 15 yard penalty up big in the pre-season?

  4. I would love to use him exactly like the saints used jimmy graham.  I actually think he's a little bigger and faster than graham was.  I think he's a willing blocker but I wouldn't count on him to set the edge.  Put him in the slot and let him work the middle of the field and I think he could be very useful.

  5. I've watched him play in the Big 10 last few years being from the Midwest and I think he's a good player...at defensive end.  I'm not sure he's athletic enough to play OLB or big enough to play DE in a 3-4.  He already knows how much money he's getting there is nothing at all to negotiate.  After reading what is going on the offset language protects the team from him getting himself cut after year 3 and then signing a big deal with another team.  If there was no offset language he could do something to force the chargers to cut him and they would still have to pay him.

  6. I'm so glad this guy didn't fall to us.  Holding out when your salary is scheduled is just insane.  Especially when he will have to learn a new position (as he would have here.)  I can't imagine the reception when he does sign will be a warm one.

  7. If im ozzie I ask for 15, 33, and 43.  If they want tunsil that bad the stupid value chart doesn't matter.  The titans are playing with house money even after they give up this trade.  They still got probably a mid 1st round pick next year.  So if I'm the titans and love tunsil I would give up 15, 33, and 43 in a heartbeat.

  8. I would love to trade back AHEAD of [crap]sburgh to get alexander before them.  Give up 3rd this year and 2nd next year if they really like him.  Another option I haven't seen many talk about is artie burns from Miami.  If he gets into the 27-29 range I could see a trade up for him.
