  1. Am I the only one just not seeing it with this guy? I mean he's ok but picking #6 overall we have got to hit a homerun. Jack feels more like a intentional walk, you'll take it but not exactly a gamechanger. Especially since it's not necessarily a position of need. Zach Orr got some reps last year and i'm willing to see how he progresses, not to mention Darryl smith may be re-signed. Hargreaves is widely recognized as the best CB in this draft and I feel he's the pick here unless Bosa or Ramsey falls. I don't see any chance of Ramsey falling and I'm not sure Bosa is a scheme fit. Hopefully whoever is announced a raven is a flat out stud, but I just don't think Jack is it.
  2. No idea who I want the ravens to take in the first, but I think whitehair from Kansas state in the 2nd could be a good move. I also wouldn't hate picking up turek (sp) the center from USC if he's there in the 4th
  3. I've been all for trading back (but still ahead of the jets) to get Floyd. Think he could be good. Also really hoping ozzie takes advantage of that high 2nd rounder to move back into the 1st if one of the tackles falls into the mid 20's. Floyd and Conklin/Decker in first round i'm a happy ravens fan.
  4. Eagles are stocked up on qbs. If wentz makes it to the #6 pick who gives up the haul to get ahead of san fran?
  5. He hasn't failed a drug test in years tho has he?
  6. Not the sexiest pick, but whitehair from KSU I think is going to be a monster. If I knew we could get westerman from ASU later I would go Spence/Alexander.
  7. Mcshay has us picking buckner in the first and noah spence in the 2nd. I like our young DL in urban Jernigan and davis, so i'm hoping we go Hargreaves in the 1st but spence there in the 2nd would be awesome. What do you guys think about this?

  10. Tough to trade 1st and 2nd round picks. But I don't think the ravens move up enough later in the draft. Sending a late 3rd and late 4th to get a player that maybe has slipped a bit is well worth it. I think the Ravens over-value the 4th, 5th,6th, and 7th round picks way to much. Especially look at the players they have taken there in the last 3 years. Some ok players but nothing to whoopy. Ozzie and Co. really need to be on top of their game because I hope like crazy we aren't drafting anywhere near #6 again for a very long time.
  11. burficht went undrafted and was strongly linked to ravens but I believe they offered more $ and immediate playing time in cincy.
  12. I agree with harbaugh "that's bovine skat" haha
  13. dang thought he caught that clean!
  14. Ever since the super bowl run drafting has been an issue. Its hard to say that ozzie has lost his touch a bit I believe. Either that or our scouting dept isn't what it used to be. It's just hard to see a lot of these other teams get production out of their late round picks and ours never contribute at all. Even lately our higher round picks aren't what they are supposed to be. Jury is still out on perriman and I believe that Williams will be solid in a few years. Davis was underwhelming (we need to stop drafting players with catchphrases #trenchwork #eatgreedy.) Hopefully with a top 10 pick this year ozzie can get back to picking some studs.
  15. Steve Spaugnolo says howdy
  16. I think a big part of it was injuries and new players. Lewis at safety, suggs hurt first game, jimmy smith coming off a major injury. I think it all kind of added up.
  17. Man how disappointed are you in kyle Arrington. I remember being pretty excited when he signed and that has not worked out at all!
  18. If they are used correctly I think they can be really good. Crocketts size alone is a giant mismatch. I would like to see them used running up the field rather then short dumpoffs but we will have to see.
  19. Bruised a bone in my foot in my teenage years and doctors said I would have been better off breaking it. Bone bruises hurt like crazy and while everybody wants him out there missing a week this early in the season is not end of the world. He will still have over 3 weeks before regular season starts.
  20. If means could give the ravens 6 sacks and with the increase of sacks from Jernigan over ngata (ngata was great but never got to the qb a lot) this defense could be NASTY if the secondary can stay healthy.
  21. I remember an article of him speaking directly to all the information he picked up about eating right and staying in shape. Does look a little rubbery in that picture though.
  22. I think with the almost $18 million in dead money coming off the cap next few years we will be able to keep both of them. Yanda probably about $4 million a year and osemele about $6.6-7 million a year. At least that's what im hoping.
