WOW! Forsett and Butler? I liked Butler being kept on the practice squad for the last couple of seasons and don't know if he's still eligible. I thought Forsett would play out his contract. Reynolds should make the practice squad. Pierce should make the practice squad. They kept Elam and cut Brooks. I knew one or the other was probably gone. Lewis-Moore showed up a little late. Arthur Brown is not a shocker but should find a team. Levine has been a stud and should start ILB next to Mosley. Carter made the team?
I never imagined Aiken and Levine to be studs this season. I told you this draft was special.
theres a certain slot receiver coming to the BANK tonight that never got injured, but delivered plenty of hurt to defenders, initials,AB.boy wish the RAVENS still had him, they wouldn't be worried about injuries in the WR. corps.
Boldin gets way too much credit from Ravens fans. He is a great WR but as a Raven, his best season was 921 yards and his best year for TDs as a Raven was 7 and they were different years, the 921 year he had 4 TDs. Aiken had 944 yds and 5 TDs last year but gets way less respect than he deserves.
Thank you. Aiken is an improvement over Boldin and Torrey Smith. Add STEVE SMITH and way more playmakers than the Ravens could ever envision along with Trestman in his second year. What's so hard to figure out.
Trying to jinx it?
I wanted the Ravens to draft Sua Cravens. Levine has been a stud. Someone, most likely a safety, would have to be cut.
Judon = Kalil Mack. Just kidding. But nice 5th round (traded it away got it back by trading down with Myles Jack on the board and then got another 4th by trading back again and then drafted Correa instead of Sua Cravens) pick. How was I to know Levine was a S/LB? They did get Chris Moore out of the deal also. About time the Ravens drafted a WR without using a high draft pick on the right guy. Or a late one that doesn't pan out. And still drafted two CB's. This draft was deep on the defensive side of the ball. Also some good OL. And they got the best one in the draft.
Not surprised at all because that's how Ozzie and Co. Rocks! This is why the Ravens don't need to waste money signing big name players when they produce them! The squeelers won multiple super bowls with the smallest payroll! If not the lowest close to it and Ravens can do the same thing with that Birds Eye for talent! Teams are waiting to see whom the Ravens release to scoop them up its so crowded with talent on the sidelines! NO MORE EXCUSES THIS OUR YEAR!
Now we're on the same page
His demeanor, character and well spoken attributes have me comparing him to Johnathan Ogdan
Probably the best OT Ravens have drafted since Ogden. The potential is there.
Ravens will sweep the Steelers on Christmas day.
Who saw that coming? But he did have a season ending foot injury. I don't think they were ready to cut bait just yet.
Let's hope we look back on this draft as one of our best!
We better be able to look back on this draft as one of our best or we will be in trouble for the next 5 years. I don't ever wanna feel like a Browns Fan.
Don't worry
The Ravens will use their sixth-overall pick to select one of the following defensive playmakers: DB Jalen Ramsey (Florida State), OLB/DE Joey Bosa (Ohio State), LB Myles Jack (UCLA) or DE DeForest Buckner (Oregon). Only if two offensive players are off the board. Imagine if Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith were both healthy. Both are top five prospects. Top three. Not with Bosa and Buckner. Tunsil and a QB is the only way that's happening.
I can even imagine the Browns trading up to the #1 spot if they want Wentz that bad. Chess not checkers. I heard where that happens and the Ravens trade up to #2 for Ramsey and the Titans still get Tunsil. Depends on the cost over value of the player. Crazy. I don't see the Ravens trading up for Ramsey when they should get a decent player. Anything is possible. I actually thought about trading up for Jack. Just one or two spots.
This draft is going to be interesting. And not just from a Ravens drafting 6th standpoint. So many things can and probably will happen in the first round and later rounds also.
SMH head on this signing. We use a 4th round pick on Walker yet play guys that were cut. All this talk about improved secondary near the end of the year. That had more to do with softer schedule. Ravens refuse to develop guys they draft. I heard deal was 3 yrs 15 mil. Wright is not worth half that. Expensive secondary for lack of playmakers.
It is what it is. Ravens brought in CB's. You can't draft a CB every round like the Steelers.
Raiders signed KO for big bucks. Let's see how that works a few years down the road.
sucks to be a ravens fan now a days the people up top dont know what they are doing anymore. Terrible drafts, not releasing players when they should be released. Caring more about players being from small schools, or being from maryland, or caring about if some players grew up together instead of thinking about if they can actually play the game smh
Letting KO walk. Bringing in Watson, Weddle, and Wallace seems to be like moves a FO doesn't know what they're doing. How about signing Aiken?
I think this is a great re-sign, he did play very well after a rocky start.... And as far as losing Osemele, that will be HIS choice after the more than fair contract he was offered by our FO.....
I wonder if his agent decided it was best for him.

We have no idea what type of contract he was offered by the ravens. Of course they say it was an "aggressive offer" but really we have no idea what the numbers were. KO needs to do what is best for him. This is his first contract and there is no guarantee that he will get another one. He needs to take the money while it is there.
Yeah, just ask Torrey - he would have had a legacy in Baltimore, instead he takes a few million more for 2 years in SF before he becomes a cap casualty (and winds up with less money in the end). The Raiders? The Vikings? The Eagles? Those teams are a mess and poorly run franchises. If KO thinks that is worth a few million, then don't let the door hit you.....and thanks for the 3rd Round Comp pick
He'll pay that in taxes. His agent screwed him.
7 picks prior to the 5th round is great nourishment to the Ravens brain trust! I think they'll excel in this draft for 2 reasons. One, they are the Ravens and two, this draft may offer the best mid round prospects of many drafts in the past.
I expect the Ravens to come away with at least 5-6 starters and a couple of pro-bowl caliber players from this draft.
Time to fix the defense. Offense will be fine. Do need to draft an OL.
wow, i thought we were gonna get at least a 3rd for torrey or mcphee
Cheated. Torrey was a 2nd round pick that signed for big bucks. But the Patriots get a 3rd round pick for Revis who wasn't even drafted and played there for one year.
Any explanation as to why Taylor didn't net a pick?
In the article.
So the Bills got a QB that went to the pro bowl and the Ravens got nothing?
Could've done some real damage if this was the year comp picks could've been traded.
The comp picks can't be traded, but can't trade other picks in and around the same rounds the comp picks are, essentially making it the same as trading our comps ?
Can trade their late 4th rounder they got from Denver.
the 6th rd picks are useless. they never pan out for us. hope we can pkg our non 6th rd comp pk with a non comp 4th rd pk and move up. we all know that these 9 draft pks will not make the team so trading some to move up makes sense. this team needs game changers and attitude
Adalius Thomas in 2000. Ravens used their 5th pick on Jamal Lewis. The rest of the 2000 draft was garbage.

I was right kinda. I said Forsett would be the starter (oops) but Buck Allen would get the most touches. I guess that decision made the fantasy football players decision easier on who to draft.
