  1. As much as I harped on drafting a Safety or CB over the last couple of years. I can say I hope the Ravens draft one of these other offensive or defensive studs in the 1st round. WR, TE, LB, Edge. Can find a CB or Safety later. Look at Tavon Young. This draft is deeper than last year. I wouldn't be surprised to find 1st round talent in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  2. I'm hoping some QBs are drafted early. I don't see Fournette being there and hope Dalvin Cook is gone also. Maybe Corey Davis is there. Reuben Foster will likely be gone and is probably better than Mosley and would replace Orr. Unless being absent at the combine makes his stock drop. I'm fine with drafting a TE. OJ Howard? I think Barnett would be there and replace Dumervil, he's as good as gone. Especially after the Browns draft Garrett. And a good chance the Bengals draft Foster. And Suggs has this season and maybe another. I thought Judon was a late round Gem and a couple years to develop.
  3. Joe could bounce back this year. He really can't play much worse than last year. We need our OC to be at least average, Joe's knee and pocket awareness to be much better, and we need to add Marshall. Those are 3 big things, but all very possible. Marshall, Wallace, and Perriman would be NASTY. even replacing Wallace with Moore in that equation would be sweet. Yes, Brandon Marshall. He should be affordable this time around. Most likely to get cut by the Jets. The only other WR for me is Garcon. I get the feeling he's going to get paid well.
  4. Center is the worst position in this draft. Would be happy with a Guard or Tackle just to draft that position. I want to sign Ronald Leary. Wagner will probably be gone and signing a FA OL will be a priority. Leary should be cheaper and a quality LG to replace Osemele. Move Lewis to RT.
  5. Then the decision is really out of Ravens hands. As noted on another thread, neither Wagner nor Williams will be playing with the Ravens next year. With Flacco's contract and the small amount of cap space available, there is no way we will be able to compete with other teams that need these positions filled. That is not the Raven's mantra. Case in point, the Browns have the cap space ($100+ million) to hire 7-10 probowlers from free agency and could probably use both these positions. Even the Patriots have $65 million in cap space. If the Juice wants too much money...let him walk too. The primary role of this position is blocking and in this capacity he was mediocre at best. If doing such a great job, why was our run came so miserable? Where were the holes? Why such a poor red zone run performance? Looking at the tapes, most of his benefits to the Ravens was as a receiver...that can be filled by TEs and the other running backs. If he leaves we will not miss him. I like him, but we no longer utilized this position to its capacity. Pita should also be let go. Great story...can't fault him on that; but business is business. He is a lousy blocker and any TE should be able to catch a ball 8.7 yards down field (average for the Flacco/Pita tandem). Being the #1 TE in the league was not a testament to Pita but indicative of a QB that has lost confidence, afraid to look down field and afraid of getting hit. Let them all go. Valid point. It might happen to an extent. Very possible Wagner and Williams get paid elsewhere. Pitta could be gone also. Would hate to see Juice go but if a team pays that much for a FB? I don't see any big FA signings that other teams can afford. This draft might be better than last. Get rid of all these CBs from the practice squad. Arrington was a desperation move I didn't like. This draft is loaded with DBs. I'm fine with taking a TE or WR with the 1st pick. Depends on players on the board when the Ravens draft. I'm definitely fine with trading back and getting more picks. Reload while keeping the right players and getting younger. Getting Stanley and Alex Lewis in last draft was huge. This draft is weak at OL. But deep at about every other position except LB. Correa needs to step up this year. Good chance the Ravens take a top receiver, replace Dumervil, or draft a LB to replace Orr with their 1st pick. Plenty of good CBs in later rounds. Should be able to find a RB that could find his way to the top of the depth chart.
  6. Only a few FAs I would want the Ravens to sign. Actually one I feel is a priority. Ronald Leary, especially there's a good chance that Wagner might be gone. Garcon, but his price tag might be too high. I'm waiting for Jets cuts. Brandon Marshall might end up with a reasonable price tag. Nick Mangold? Need to nail this draft. Adding Stanley and Alex Lewis was huge last draft. I'm fine with cutting players and reloading in this draft but still have the personnel to make a run. Add a couple of the right players. This draft might be better than last year. If the Ravens can trade back and still get the guy they want. Nine picks is better than eight. Comp picks are tradable.
  7. Ryan looks ticked off the Falcons are up 21-0. THIS IS PERFECT!!!!!!!!
  8. Brady pick 6. THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! Falcons 21-0. I called it . REMEMBER IT!
  9. Falcons deferred and get the ball in the 2nd half. 3rd and one and a Falcons stop. This playoffs has been garbage. Nothing would be more fitting than another Seahawks-Broncos SB with Brady as the recipient of a beating.
  10. I'm actually rooting for the Falcons to blow the Patriots out of the water and if Ryan has an 11 TD and 0 INT. post-season, then good for him. I still think most people and not Belicheck knows to not take this Falcons team that's peaking at just the right time on both sides of the ball too lightly. They're as well coached and just as talented or more than the Patsies. Falcons have speed at the right positions and Ryan is playing fantastic. P.S. I wouldn't have minded the Ravens drafting Deion Jones just like Landon Collins. Dude can run with the faster WR's. I was right AGAIN!
  11. I agree. Ravens would have given the Patriots a better game than the Squeelers but probably still lost. I think the Falcons would have wiped the floor with them in the SB. Why I'm not too hell bent on the Ravens missing the playoffs. They have a nice draft to look forward to. Squeelers and Patsies will still be over-rated next season. Ravens are a couple of pieces away from meaning business.
  12. I told you the Ravens nailed this draft! I love being right. I told you this draft was loaded. Look at all the rookies making an impact. It's awesome. I'm always right. 99% of the time.
  13. Maxx Williams? I loved that pick. He's still young and the Ravens have a slew of TE's. I think he has Jimmy Graham, Dennis Pitta(before his hip) potential. Correa? He's a rookie, give him time. I think he has potential. Arthur Brown wasn't a bad pick to me and a victim of circumstances IMO. He didn't contribute on special teams and Mosley and Daryl Smith weren't coming off the field. Upshaw wasn't a bad pick. The Patriots drafted Hightower before the Ravens. Ravens drafted low profile, athletic(good combines), versatile(ST contributors), High character players and I don't have a problem with any of their picks.
  14. I wonder if Pass rusher is a priority in 2017? it is but maybe not top priority. I thought Judon was a 5th round gem and I think he should develop well.
  15. I had faith that Webb would transition well to the Safety position. Mosley and Orr are arguably the best ILB tandem in the NFL.
