Ibelieve they can surround Flacco with anyone and have a dangerous passing attack. Don't agree? Justput on the tape of Sunday's game after Steve Smith left. If Joe would just play like this all the time. He's capable. But, I guess he feels there's no amount of money in the world to get that out of him. Or, it's not worth it. Idk. I love my quarterback in my team just the same though.

As much as I would like Rolando to come back this season another report came out this morning saying he isn't ready to return to football and is still working on his degree which he should finish in the summer. But he has said even after then he is not sure if he is completely ready. But I agree that Daryl Smith needs to be signed. 

If that's the case, then by all means, lock D. Smith up. Go Ravens!!! :-)

In Ozzie we trust..................NT Sopoaga released by the Pats would fit if the Cody experiment is over. D. Smith is 31,what term contract is he looking for and is it viable to give him guareenteed money & years? Rolando McClain could be a "sleeper" and a bargain if he lives up to his 1st rd talent and wants to play. Could Mellete be the WR we are looking for? Ozzie is a fox in the hen house this time of year but I question keeping a waning T-sizzle. Hope I'm wrong but _______ from Minnesota is a FA who can rush the passer.

Imho, D. Smith and Rolando McClain together would be ideal. Gives us 1yr to get McClain in the feel of the Ravens way. I say give D. Smith a 1yr deal while getting the bargain from Rolando is the answer. #ijs #imho

Daniels has officially been released, but at the moment, the Panthers are shopping for a trade partner for Smith. Now, if they don't find one, they may end up releasing him, but that's not official yet.

 

I think Daniels is a very likely target - given his history with Kubiak and since (I believe) he's considered a better run-blocking option than Pitta. 

 

Smith would be an intriguing possibility ... depends on the money he'd command. I think the FO wants us to get young at that position, but we've got a lot of either open or dead slots on the WR corps and I think a guy like Smith could fit in and we could still be looking at a high draft pick for the position to work in over time. 

Steve Smith WILL BE RELEASED TODAY. So, let's get ready to welcome him. Age was my concern about him as well. But, all else outweighs that knock. I think it'll work just fine.  Agreed, Daniels is a better option. But, he's not more beloved. And, beloved by the right person (Joe Flacco). I could see us not getting him as well as getting (could go either way). Go Ravens!!! :-)

We are doing a great job of keeping our own players but what about D.Smith

He and Alex Smith ought to be top priorities at this point, imho, because these guys are actually play callers which is very important. However, Steve Smith WILL be released today. This, imho, makes things that much more complex. Go Ozzie & Co., go!!! :-)

We can probably expect to have Steve Smith and Owen Daniels playing for us this year. Why? Because both are RELEASED players. Ozzie & Co's favorite kind because it won't factor into draft pick compensation because released players don't figure into equation. Go Ravens!!! :-)

We won't have any idea which Players to grab in the Draft, until we find out which Veteran FAs we can afford and add. Let's get this segment over with and then we can look at what Rookies we we will want to invest in. Getting Monroe locked in again , for long term, would be a good start to Free Agency

I realize I said Kubiak and Castillo would be like oil and water but if Harbs is going for a star-studded cast of Kubiak, Dennison, AND Shanahan then i'm definitely all for it. Who knows? They may actually dynamically compliment each other.
