No shades allowed. As pathetic as we've looked (especially late in games), we're not as bad as some may think. We currently have better team rankings in Run Defense than 6 teams left on our schedule (Pitt, Browns, Chargers, Bengals, 49ers, Rams),Better overall offense (passing/rushing offense) than 4 teams left on the scheduleBengals are ranked 4th in offense, but only 21st in defense and are undefeated (sustainable?)Just saying this to point out that there's so much parity in the league currently (especially within our remaining schedule) that it's possible for any team to go 8-3 or 9-2 from here. More than any teams we have left to play - we are a more balanced team offensively and defensively (not dominate - just balanced). We are currently 'fair' to 'slightly above average' overall, but so is everybody else left on the schedule (except - Arizona). We have to find a way to tighten-up our pass defense more, eliminate the untimely penalties and focus on what we do best offensively. Just saying...it's somewhat unlikely, but at the same time considerably possible (like every other team in the league).
