The Redskins are intentionally spreading lies and trying to humiliate him, the same way they got Jim Zorn to resign instead of firing him - to save money on the remaining contract with him.

Now that they've fired their GM, either they did it 'with cause' for his supposed drinking or just want to make it seem like they had no other choice.

In reality, Dan Synder is the worst owner in sports and has a terrible Front Office - led by Bruce Allen - to do his bidding. And... maybe it means more Ravens converts! I think Dick Cass is laughing his butt off.

    Worse than James Dolan?

This is on the Redskins front office... AKA Dan Snyder for allowing this to happen. McCloughan was in San Fran and help put together the team that Jim took to the SB against us. He had the Redskins on the right track, They were in the playoffs in 2015 and were close to making it this year. This has the signs of the team going on the downward and heading into the basement of the NFC East.

So Dan Snyder doesn't understand the concept of football and if anyone who does comes into his organization is blacklisted? Gotcha. No wonder the Redskins have been so bad for so long. McCloughan is going to land on his feet somewhere and make a team better than Washington. Though... if he wants to just come up 95 we can make some room for him.

Unless if he can see the future, I don't know what kind of reasoning he can provide for all of this mess. Is Snyder really one of the worst owners in the league? They're a mess. It's like Stephen A. Smith was on the money when he said the Redskins are "allergic to prosperity."

Might be less of a problem depending on how we use Woodhead, I don't imagine he'll be seeing a ton of snaps (of course I'm just speculating out of my ***).

Don't get me wrong, he's got playmaker written all over him. I just personally felt we should draft a RB (preferably scatback) even though I don't know who.

For WR, would it smart to try and get Cruz AND Boldin? Would that be affordable/smart? That gets us a decent slot WR with injury problems that I'm honestly not super worried about, and an aging possession guy, leaving our WRs at Boldin, Cruz, Moore, Perriman, Camp, and Wallace/Smith?

No to Cruz and "I wouldn't mind" to Boldin.

As much as it hurts to lose all of our top FA, I have to commend Ozzie, DeCosta, and Co. for not panicking and overpaying them, not that this should be surprising at this point. Wagner and Juice' contracts are pretty ridiculous, I'm not mad at all that we didn't try to match.

Agreed, but man do we need to nail this draft.

I completely agree with this. It's amazing to see the teams that throw these absurd amount of money around in free agency and what their record is that year. They almost always seem to be right back in the same spot next year because their team isn't very good.

Spending a ton during free agency either means that you are a horrible drafting team or can not retain your own talent.

Look no further than the teams who pick #1 (Browns) and #2 (49ers). They have almost about $200M in CAP SPACE COMBINED! Sheesh..

In his first post Combine mock draft, Matt Miller has the Ravens taking three WRs in the draft.

    RD1: John Ross, WR

    RD2: TJ Watt, Edge

    RD3: Chidobe Awuzie, CB

    RD3: Dalvin Tomlinson, DL

    RD4: Jamaal Williams, RB

    RD5: KD Cannon, WR

    RD6: Jamari Staples, WR

I think a different bird team is more likely to draft 3 WRs.
