  1. Can't wait for Passepartout to announce what is happening this week. Living in the dark here and it's unbearable.

  2. According to the 2012 formula, we got our last loss of the season tonight. We finished 10-6 that year and won the Super Bowl.

Tbh, @JO_75, this season looks similar to 2013 IF we beat the Eagles.

  4. It's amazing how much you can learn about football in non-reactionary threads.  I don't think the forum gets enough credit for these.

It is the very reason why I joined these threads.

  5. Anyone want to bring Torrey home on a reduced contract?

  7. I'm SO SICK AND TIRED of hearing about the cowboys non stop whenever I warch an NFL show.Who cares about a team that goes 4-12 or 6-10 every year? It's like being forced to hear about the browns. How are people so entertained by the storylines of such a horrible team? *rant over*

This is why I stop caring about ESPN and NFL Network.

I did. Liked what both said because I agree.

  9. Karlos Williams was just cut and we're number 6 on the waiver wire.Should Ozzie make it happen? We have competition going on at RB but he's ATLEAST better than Buck and Lorenzo,IMO.

^Apparently, the Bills coaching staff saw that he didn't seem interested in football. He also was out of shape and gained weight as well.

  10. I actually can't be upset with ESPN QB Tier's putting Flacco in Tier 2 but at 12 I'd have to disagree i fel like he deserves to be slightly higher maybe two- three spots but he isn't far off, I read that one coordinator said that Flacco is "physically gifted" but doesn't believe "he can lead or carry a team"! How is that even possible When We as Raven Fans Have SEEN Flacco CARRY a Team Before. Maybe not season long but game to game i have seen him carry our team before! I swear WE ravens Fans are the only ones Who have Faith & Believe in OUR QBs Ability! I Truly Believe Flacco Proves EVERYONE Wrong This Year! I GUARANTEE He will Put Up Numbers This Season! #GoRavens #InFlaccoITrust

I'm at the point where I pay ZERO attention to any form of rankings like this. I could care less what other ppl think of the Ravens. Heck, I don't even care about other people's predictions. I say just to let the games play and the rest will follow suit.

Everything's fine my man. How about yours?

  12. Hard not to be excited for our 2016 draft class. Call me optimistic, but I think each rookie could be a starter in the NFL with the exception of Moore (solid deep threat but needs a lot of work). Also, Maurice Canady's demeanor is compelling. He looks up to Sherman.. let's see if that chip on his shoulder can take him to the top.

Easy for me not to be excited, but not because I think this class is bad (actually the opposite). It's more because of the debacle also known as the 2015 Ravens. I understand, in all likelihood, last season was an aberration, but you just can't be too sure. Call me cautiously optimistic if you will because you make some really good points.

  13. Chris Moore will be a star in this league. You heard it here first. If you are not convinced, watch this:

If he and Perriman become good route runners, they'll be a problem.

  14. With free agency coming in less than a month, I wonder what Newsome will have ins tore for Baltimore. Hopefully, we can do something with all the dead money returning.

I know right. I am really excited for free agency this year.

  15. This upcoming draft is probably the most important one in recent memory. With the Steelers continuing to improve this draft has to produce quality starters

  16. Steelers or Cincy? What's your poison?

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

Doesn't matter to me. It's a win-win. I get to laugh at one of these teams when the game's over.

  17. Who said they wanted Pit vs Cinci in the WC? You got your wish...

  18. Merry Christmas to all! Hope we can sweep the Steelers! And no, I don't care if we take one step lower draft pick because of it lol

But the Jets HAVE TO WIN against the Pats or this is irrelevant.

  19. Sometimes you guys dont make one lick of sense... All i hear from you guys is how you are turning on ozzie because he doesnt draft well... meanwhile at the same time you want us to fight to lose a couple more games onkly to move up a couple more spots in the draft.. so whats the difference between pick 4 and 6... what if 4 is a bust and 6 is a probowler? would intentionally losind and giving up on your team really that significant? smh.

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

I've never been an advocate of tanking, but I personally think we're losing out. We should have a top 4 or 5 pick. Bosa, Ramsey, VH3, Tunsil, and whoever you want to add should be there by the time we pick.

  20. This day just keeps getting worse. Gabbert finds Torrey Smith wide open for the game winning TD. Smith blew past him... I miss his speed.

If Perriman was healthy, I wouldn't be.

  21. these last few weeks, especially after the bye... i love what i am seeing from our defensive scheme... we are implementing more cover 2 and more cover 3 zone with both corners playing relatively close to the ball. Also installing some 43 and giving exotic blitz looks... dean pees has been doing his job for a good stretch now... your thoughts?

I would say what took so long, but whatever...

  22. Ray Lewis - 26th Pick. Ed Reed - 24th Pick. Marshal Yanda - 86th Pick. Flacco - 18th Pick. Webb - 88th Pick. Pitta - 114th Pick. Brent Urban - 134th Pick. Timmy Jernigan - 48th Pick. Brandon Williams - 94th pick. Point being... we can find great players in any round so please stop complaining that winning will ruin our draft spot.

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

I know a lot of people have said this, but I'll say it: as long as we get impact players that can play immediately, I could care less where our draft spot is.

  23. Kinda funny that roethlisberger doesn't enter the concussion protocol until AFTER the Seahawks touchdown that put the game out of reach. With the recent controversy over the Rams mishandling the Keenum situation I thought for sure they would take the cautious route and atleast make sure he was fine. It was like they didn't even want to check on him because the game was on the line and they needed him in there. He took a pretty nasty helmet to helmet. Anyway- just an observation.

      DomMcRaven

@ravensdfan, Wasn't that Big Ben against us? I remember that he was concussed and the following play he ended up throwing an INT in the end zone.

  24. I think I figured out why most here are more concerned with a top pick than winning out and getting to the playoffs. Just the idea of grabbing a top 5/10 player is so out of the ordinary that the first time we have that chance it's fascinating to us as fans. So wanting to lose out to ensure we get that player, is something that intrigues us enough where losing just becomes a positive. Also the fact, it may be a while before we get this opportunity at a top 5/10 player again.

      DomMcRaven

^January J, my thoughts exactly. I wanted to see us make a run, but i lost hope the moment we lost Flacco. I will never root for us to lose, but I won't be as sad....SO LONG as these players continue to fight. Some of these dudes are auditioning for next season.
