  1. Let's get Revis because apparently he's getting cut! P.S. Don't neg me...........I'm totally kidding.
  2. Who's ready for FA tomorrow? I know I am!

  3. Unless SEA is making a smokescreen (which is quite possible), it appears that as if they're targeting a big WR. If that's the case, looks like we may have to scratch Kelvin Benjamin and Allen Robinson off who's available.
  4. if I'm not mistaken, I believe that we face the AFC South next season. Now I don't know about you guys, but I think Gary Kuboak knows a thing or two about that conference. I'm not too sure...I just have a feeling.

We do face AFC South. Didn't even think about Kubiak when I found out. Will be interesting next season. Our opponents - http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Ravens-2014-Opponents-Finalized/ba086ab5-fb82-42cc-923c-fc23225cad38

  5. Lol but I agree with you.
  6. All I have to say about Flacco's accuracy is that we have to account for receivers dropping passes or tipping them to become INTS and scheme (the beloved run, run, deep pass scheme). I seriously don't think Flacco has been put in the best position to succeed as a legit top 10 QB, but that's just my two cents.
  7. Though I love big receivers, I must ask: which receiver(s) has(have) the best combination of route-running and hands? That's what I like. Even if it IS drafting more than one receiver that has similar traits.
  8. So now we have Alex Boone saying that Boldin was worth a first-round pick. As much as I love Boldin, I can't stand to hear anymore about the mistake that Ozzie made. I understand that Q is a FA, but I believe that statement just solidified he will NOT come back to the Ravens....even if we tried.

    1. ThePurpleWall

      ThePurpleWall

Boldin wasn't worth a first round pick, and ozzie mad no mistake on that, from ozzie take I agree with him why pay a wr base of 6 million a year that's what boldin wanted and hes age 32 going on 33

    2. gabefergy

      gabefergy

Yeah, there is no way Boldin was worth a first round pick, at least there was no way he could garner such compensation.

    3. BloodRaven

      BloodRaven

Boldin picked up the slack when Crabtree was out 12 games, and all this while converting over 80% of his third down looks.

Lets not be petty because he's no longer a Raven, his contribution to their season has been priceless.

  9. You know something? I was one of the fans who called for Castillo to be fired. Now that he's the OL coach, I don't know what to think. Who knows? Maybe our OL could improve and our offense will work again.

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

If our OL continues to struggle, well, we will know who's responsible for that.......

    2. Stephenjr

He was always the O-line coach. They just didn't want to disrespect Moller. Harbs needs to grow a pair! We were worst in the league in running the ball due to poor O-line play. Instead of firing the guy, he gives him a raise!! What the heck??

  10. Kelvin Benjamin, anyone? Lol.

Evans = Next bust in the NFL.

Has he declared. Benjamin would be a nice fit here if he decides to come out.

      DomMcRaven

Me personally, I would like either Lee, Watkins or Benjamin. Any who can run nice routes and has great hands. Speed is not a necessity, as we have Torrey, Marlon, Deonte and even Aaron for that.

  11. I have a feeling that Dean Pees will stay. If not, Marvin Lewis anyone (that is if he leaves Cincy)?

    1. The Raven

      The Raven

You hate "HarBoo" but you think Marvin gets a HC job if he gets fired? That's interesting.

    2. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

Marvin Built That team from nothing. HarBoo took over a team loaded with leaders and talent! Marvin also can say he was the DC for the best Defense ever! Last time I checked Marvin Lewis has the same amount has HarBooooooooo!

Marvin has the same amount of rings as HarBoo! That's Interesting!

  12. If we do try and get a new OC, ask yourself this: is he a BFF of Harbaugh? If not, scratch him off the list.
  13. Does anyone know when Ozzie, Eric, Steve, and the rest of the FO have their annual press conference to talk about the offseason? I'm very eager in what they will say.

    1. allblackraven

      allblackraven

Coach said the other day they'll meet in Florida within couple weeks. I suppose "State of the Ravens" will be held shortly after.

    2. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

Oh ok thanks. I can't wait to hear what Ozzie has to say. He's no fool, he'll make sure that offense will get working again.

  14. I feel that's inevitable that we draft a RB (as we should) but damn it, I hope we get a bruiser (somebody like Eddie Lacy) that can grind out a few tough yards. Are there any out there in this year's draft?

    1. juanman7

      juanman7

yeah if anyone i say Andre Williams the Heisman finalist guy

    2. juanman7

      juanman7

id rather get mike evans, marquise lee, sammy watkins, jace amaro, or some good olinemen

    3. FJX

      FJX

Yeah that would be good in the first round. Saw a mock draft where we got the RT from Alabama, then WR from LSU in the 2nd, and Williams in the 3rd. I'd be VERY pleased with that.

  15. Based on what we've seen and depending on what happens in our last four regular season games (and hopefully any playoff game), do we keep Jim Caldwell as OC? If not, any candidates do we look at?

In addition to everyone's answers, hopefully can get address our running game in the offseason by any means necessary. RR may never be the same guy we once knew and loved but if we can fix the running game next year, we'll easily make the playoffs providing our defense plays like this and we can score TDs.

      FlocksGottaFeed

With job he did in last year's playoffs and SB, along with this year's issues, he may get another head coaching offer somewhere else. Either way, I wish him the best.

  16. I couldn't help but wonder: let's Dennis Pitta never had that injury. How would our offense be?

      SeaHawk

On the bright side, at least we'll be able to keep him for a cheaper price than if he had played all year and really broke out.

  17. Just a curious question, why oh why does our offense struggle on the road with Flacco (not just this year)?

    1. Inqui

      Inqui

One theory I saw is that our new(ish) training facility is really similar to the M&T Bank turf so we have kind of a familiarity advantage at home and the opposite away.

      BloodRaven

    3. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

Inqui, I remember hearing about that, but they need to do something to address this in the offseason.

  18. We have played 9 games so far and there's no improvement in our running game. Since Juan Castillo doesn't want to change his schemes to fit our players, HE MUST GO (how many times do we have to say this??)! It will be a TRAVESTY if he stays to be our run-game coordinator for next year. An ABSOLUTE.....TRAVESTY!

    1. MissRay27

      MissRay27

If 100 people say it's a skunk, it's a skunk. Castillo needs to go, why does Harbs not see it?

    2. blackbird29

      blackbird29

Harbaugh won't do anything because that is his BFF. He will defend him to the very end. In his mind it's not Castillo, it's the players not executing.

    3. MissRay27

      MissRay27

BFF blinders. I get it like only seeing the best in your friend.

  19. If we miss the playoffs (most likely but I sure as hell hope not), do you think this will be a blessing in disguise for the team and especially Flacco? If he continues to struggle for the remainder of the year, hopefully he will use this year as a learning curve to become accurate and develop chemistry with our young receivers. As much as I can't stand Tom Brady (don't we all?), look at what he's doing with his receivers.....

    1. TSizzle00

      TSizzle00

Pats WRs have been playing bad but they have time to get open and the RBs have rushing lanes. Pats have maintained a reasonably good Oline. Honestly if the Ravens had that kind of blocking we'd be 5-3.

    2. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

We'd have a winning record for sure if our offensive line could block. I'm pretty sure Ozzie will get this O-line issue fixed in the offseason should it continue to be a problem as many of us like myself expect it to be.

    3. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

Joe is the best offensive player on this team, He isn't the problem. The problem is the O-line and Castillo!

  20. Regardless of how we finish our season (and hopefully postseason), what positions do we need to address the most in the offseason via draft and free agency?

    1. gabefergy

      gabefergy

I would say OL, TE, Safety are top 3 positions of need. WR, RB, and CB less pressing.

    2. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

I would say a new coaching staff, if we could draft in that area! Lmao
