  1. Funny...so many people on here was calling for his job... John has done an outstanding job since he has arrived here... he fights hard and has his team doing the same... the only thing I would have done different was to hire Kyle Shanahan as OC... It would have given the team continuity for once in a long time... he is a great offensive mind that has the run game clicking... just check his track record... Washington hasn't run the ball well since he left... neither have the Browns... with him in Atlanta now the run the ball effectively... but I digress... Have had Harbs back all season... this is my guy no matter whose on the field you get their maximum effort... Now Dean Pees on the other hand.. exit stage left... lol
  2. Shout out to Kamar... played really well last night... still waiting on your first 100 yd game sir... I think they should keep moving him around to keep teams from closing in on him.. he runs solid routes.. Givens is so dynamic in attacking the seams... there are playmakers on the field... just need to put them in situations in which they can thrive.. Juice played well too... some many people... not enough time... Go Ravens!!!
  3. Had a feeling we would shock people with Schaub at the helm and beat the Browns... He was up and down and showed obvious rust... on the pick six should have thrown the pass to the outside shoulder of Kamar as the corner was playing inside technique plus the LB was playing Trail technique on Butler who the pass should have gone to as he was open over the middle.. on the second pick he should have gone to his check down as the defenders sat on the routes anticipating a quick pass.. was to congested in there... ran the ball well... wished we had ran more.. West and Buck looked really good.. no disrespect to Justin whatsoever but Buck is much better after the catch... Justin without a doubt has better vision running the ball... we still have trouble covering TE's and have a feeling that we are going to see a lot of that going down the stretch... the defense dropped way to many interceptions... I counted three the drop by Webbie was surprising as the ball came right to him... we need the DB's to hit the jugs machine...smh... really excited going forward... shout out to Brown got some action last night... he needs some work covering kicks took some bad angles but I know they will sure that up... its a short week.. but Lets Go Raven's
  4. I am going to be backing my team until there is no more fight left in the season... until the the clock hits Triple zero against the Bengals...after tonight we got 5 more games... and I will be into them with every fiber of my being like we were playoff bound... love my squad to the fullest... Go Ravens..
  5. With Johnson's promotion... guess "Snacks" the 5th round pick isn't up to speed yet.. if the undrafted guy was promoted first...
  6. Chuck Jacobs should end back on the practice squad if he clears waivers... guess they are comfortable with Mostert returning kickoffs... and Webbie fair catching punts... guess they needed someone who can block punts and make tackles and blocks for the return game without making penalties...
  7. They are going to put 8 and 9 in the box and run blitz like crazy...so yes they will pass the ball early to loosen the defense up like they did in the first game...not having Haden out there should free up Kamar and Givens... If our TE group along with Juice have a strong outing... we could have a chance... The secondary has improved... I thought Phillip Rivers and company were going to put up 500 passing yards... the should have kept him under 300 yards if not for two plays... the 80 yd bomb... and a 30 yd dump pass to the RB late in the game.. so there is hope... if the Defense stepped up like they did last game... we got a chance
  8. Question... Does anyone know why the Depth Chart hasn't been updated yet??? Shout out to D Brown...happy for the kid... really good on Special Teams... still rather raw as a WR hope he uses the opportunity to secure his spot...
  9. @MinionHunter... as I was watching the game last night and the Patriots were in a dog fight... I found it comical that the started making excuses for Brady as to why they were about to lose the game... We lost the Defensive leader, the speedster on the outside, not going to account for Pita simply because he has been on the field for the past two years, both offensive play makers.. (Justin and SSS) and the ever revolving door that has become the WR and OL positions.. the ever revolving door at OC... and then you factor in the four games that the refs cost us (Oakland-P.I. call... Arizona-failure to blow the whistle after C2J forward progress had been stopped for 3 full seconds... Browns-Terrible roughing the passer call and P.I. call on Kyle lead to 2 touch downs.. and the Jags several blown calls) we are labeled not a very good team...But the commentators said they are just to injured to over come their short comings.. interestingly enough even with all our short comings we have been highly competitive... I may question Joe's decision at times but I truly have been appreciative of having a player of his caliber on my side... he's taken a band of misfits and gave us a chance to win week in and week out... so nothing but luv for this Guy... Go Ravens
  10. The lack of a running game has nothing to do with the backs... but everything to do with the WR's inability to win one on one.. if you don't fear the WR's you can put 8 and 9 in the box...blitz the run...things of that nature...until the passing game improves... it will be difficult to run the ball...
  11. RB is the least of our concern at this point... offensive line help... pass rusher.. proven cover corner...back up QB... a veteran wide receiver... Ravens have enough young talent at WR..(and drafting a WR high doesn't guarantee success.. this pass draft only proves my point other than Cooper all of the high draft picks have been struggling) should be higher on the list than RB... Lorenzo, Buck, West, should be more than capable of handling the load.. no problem with a RB by committee approach..
  12. Flacco need not worry... he will get his 18 to 20 mil a year... he made some dumb plays this season... but he has also kept all the games close with a patch work quilt offense... so one or two plays went our way we could be 8-2
  13. Bryn Renner got cut once Camp and Waller went down... at that point you have to start replenishing your depth... unless Renner can line up outside the numbers and run routes... he was going to be a victim of the numbers game... not a single person would have anticipated Joe being done for the year... there were two things you could count on for the last 8 years... Maryland's weather is going to be crazy inconsistent and Joe Flacco will be under center for the Ravens... so there is no reason to question the personnel decisions.. plus we aren't at practices to see where his development was progressing at that point...
  14. Jeremy Butler looked great as well... think he had more snaps than Givens did... but really proud of what J. Allen did.. ran hard all game... and if not for the that ridiculous toss play, he would have positive yards all game... glad JB and Buck Allen are finally getting an opportunity to ball...
  15. Realistically speaking Schaub gives the best chance to win... Remember Renner was playing against 3rd and 4th string players so while he looked promising you got to consider his comp.. so him starting over Schaub would be a serious stretch... but he is the most logical... He knows the plays and the verbiage... so I wouldn't be surprised if he became the number two...he became a victim of the numbers game.. so many injuries to corners, wide outs, tight ends, d-line, and now RB and QB smh... what a year...
  16. Wow Flacco too??? Darn it... really... SMH
  17. Should have been back to back wins... ah well such is this season
  18. Big Hit B. Williams... lets go win it for Forsett... Smitty... and Suggs... all our fallen soliders
  19. There can't be any more room left on I.R. can there...smh.. speedy recovery... keep the faith...
  20. SMH... nothing going our way this year whatsoever
  21. Our injury list keeps getting longer and longer... smh... we can't catch a break this season whatsoever...
  22. J. Allen is balling... we need that TO
  23. Every time Tucker misses a field we've lost the game... fingers crossed on this one... darn it we can't seem to catch a break this season... we start off the running well... and Forsett gets hurt..
  24. Shooting ourselves in the foot...smh
