Trade down to the Titans I hope

Jags will take Buckner or Jack over Stanley
Cowboys take Elliot my guess.. I'm hoping anyways

I heard we were thinking about trading Elam to Foot Locker for some new cleats. Unfortunately we haven't found anyone desperate enough for Arthur Brown yet.
7 minutes ago, Saxxin said:I think Ozzie stays pat at #6 and takes Elliot. He's the game changer the ravens have been missing since Rice was released.
Im hoping a mix between Trent and Buck will have our run game being one of the top rushing duos in the league. I really think Trent will look like a great RB for us, especially if we end up drafting Tunsil @6.

I heard Arthur Brown has been already spotted keeping his seat warm right between them. I just hope Perrimans is a little less shiny this year.

Really no upside to doing that to be honest.
Well I actually see some major upside to it, this tells me not only is he being honest about his knee but he also wants to win a SuperBowl over the money. He will lose out on money for his rookie contract there is no doubt about that, but he will also be going to a team with an actual chance to win the SuperBowl.
If he has any doubt about his knee then he is more willing to take that risk, he can always sign a huge contract after his rookie contract is up and he is heading into his prime.
Yes because a team that trades down in the draft adding more talented youth to their team never wins games right. It's the teams like the Browns that draft in the top 10 every years that's winning the SuperBowl.
I guess trading one player to fill the needs of 3 positions with top 50 of the best players in the draft just don't know football at all. Personally I would draft BPA @15, 36,43,45 in the picks that we get from the Titans and I believe that's what Ozzie and Decosta will do. Even if we get Decker the 6'7 OT @15 it still will fill a position of need and we will have 3 more picks to fill our need at corner and pass rush.
When I first knew we would have the #6 pick in the draft I was excited and it actually helped a bit with how heartbreaking our season was, I instantly knew we would draft a playmaker and everything would be fantastic. I have no doubt we would keep the pick and not trade down, then the Rams moved to LA and I started wondering if a QB was available at #6 if they would trade up and give us both of their 2nd round picks. Well they traded with the Titans and my thoughts of having 4 picks inside the top 50 players sadly went away, thinking about the great youth Titans will get with those picks haunted my dreams knowing that it could of been us.
Now my dreams are coming to reality, I will be the most excited person when they announce that the Ravens traded down to the 15th pick with the Titans in exchange the Ravens now own the 43 & 45th picks in the draft.

I'm hoping he wants to get drafted by the Ravens and he knows we are moving back to 15. One can hope anyways ![]()
4 hours ago, Edgar said:I get why some folks like him. He's smart, good effort, etc. The problem is that he is severely limited athletically. He won't hold up in space at LINEBACKER. Even in the run game from the games I watched...once he is blocked, he is blocked and that happens too often to him in college.
He might make his living on special teams but we can do a lot better in round four.
We must of watched different games, when he was a freshman he was solid, broke out his sophomore season with 163 tackles, 29 tackles for a loss,14 sacks and 6 forced fumbles.. He tore his miniscus in his Jr season and then decided to declare for the draft. Even if we get half that production, 81 Tackles, 14.5 for a loss, 7 sacks and 3 forced fumbles then wouldn't you consider that one hell of a 4th round pick? If your answer is anything but yes your just fooling yourself.
If the Titans give us #15,43,45 then I see us trading back. I know its not the popular pick because we don't get to draft this high that often but we will be getting some great players with those extra picks.

All in all not a good draft.
Can you please explain why Scooby Wright is a wasted pick? I would love if we picked him in the 4th round.

He can come in a be a pro bowl talent ay 1. Additionally, they went to work him out after the rechecks meaning he likely cleared the medical. If he didn't, there is no reason to do this.
Finally, Caldwell talked about taking a pass rusher and how he is basically fine with the depth he has there. Additionally, I don't think Bosa gives them an EDGE guy that they don't already have in Jackson and Fowler
Gotra remember Fowler is coming off a torn ACL, Just like the Ravens they might think twice about drafting him only because they didn't have the chance of their 1st Rd pick play last year.
45 minutes ago, dpatrickguy said:If we trade back to 15 and only get one 2nd round pick, I will lose my mind
If we trade back with the Titans we are getting at least two 2nd round picks, unless they give us the 1st they got from the Rams next year.
So basically it's going to come down to who we pick at #15, 36, 43, 45. Personally I would do that trade without thinking twice, we give up one player to be able to select 3 very talented players. We can draft OL, Corner, OLB and WR with those 4 picks and fill positions of need with every one.

And I'm sorry Joe Flacco is not elite, if he was the Ravens would have four Super Bowls instead of two! He let troy strip him of one Super Bowl and threw the other away with a very very very bad pass instead of running Justin whom had a monster day giving the pats a ring because of bad "Situational Football" costing Triple " S " his ring! Yup! Prove me wrong then because these are facts, plain and simple! And I really like Joe but I'm tired of excuses!
After Flacco has a MVP season and takes the Ravens to another SuperBowl would you admit he is elite?
He will have the same coordinator and WRs that he had last year when he was having a Career High stats wise season. Its also hard for any QB to overcome the injuries we have had the last couple years, Flacco kept us in all of our games with WRs we signed a week before a game.
Look at Aaron Rodgers and how bad they did last year, would you not say he is an elite QB? He has always had the advantage in the WR department than Flacco has had and plays in a weaker division.

aw well.. another year of watchin our corners get torched because by the time we pick again in the 2nd round all the top 5 corners will be gone. Another year of boring picks
I am actually happy with our secondary. I know they are not the best in the league but they are all coming back healthy and have all played with each other before, chemistry is a main contribute when it comes to a great Defense. Dont forget we hired Leslie Frasier as our DB coach, unlike Pees he knows how to properly coach Defensive Backs. Hiring him will also allow Pees to focus more on the game plan, while also pushing him to succeed knowing that his job is on the line.
The main thing we lacked last year was any kind of pass rush. If we fix that in the draft we will have a top 5 Defense.
6 hours ago, 757RavensFan said:I like Garrett's mock much better even though I'm not high on Bosa. Would love to get Scooby Wright in the 4th round.
If he swapped Bosa for Jack I would be happy.
I believe if we select Jack he has the versatility to play inside next to Mosley and slide outside to rush the QB. He would make the Offense always have to account for where he is at, creating the opportunity for other players to make plays.
Having the duo of Mosley and Jack will also stop any team from throwing it across the middle and shutting down the Patriots TE Duo when we face them late in the year with a chance to knock them out of playoff contention now that Brady is suspended for the first four games.
Have you guys heard anything about Justin Zimmer? I think he could be a great late round pick and provide depth, Brandon Williams can mentor him with the transition from a small school to the NFL playing DL.
http://seahawksdraftblog.com/justin-zimmer-dl-ferris-state-is-one-to-watch
What about Mortiz Boehringer? I know he is Raw but if we can pick him up in the 4th round and let him sit a year to learn from Smitty, I think he will be great next year starting opposite from Perriman.
But if we happen to trade back with the Titans, I would love to see Braxton Miller drafted with one of our three 2nd round picks.

It would have to be #15 and both the 2nd round picks they got from the Rams (43,45) I would love a pick next year also but thats all depending on who is still available at #6.
Who knows the draft can turn upside down with the Chargers selecting Stanley, Cowboys take Elliot and Jags take Bosa. That would take a next years first to trade back. Now before I get hated on I know that will not happen but we have seen crazy stuff happen on draft day.
Jack would be my pick if he is still there, if not I would pick up the phone and see if the Titans would give up #15, 43,45 and a 2nd pick next year. I wouldn't do it for anything less..
Haha thanks guys, yeah I figured nobody would respond but it was worth a shot. I will just have to tackle the next person I see wearing a Ravens Jersey. My goal this year is to goto my first NFL game, Christmas Day when we beat the Steelers at their place.
I know this is a long shot but I recently moved to Washington and I was wondering if there was any Ravens fans in the Olympia/Seattle area. I was looking for some people to meet at the bar and watch the draft with.

Im shocked by some of the other picks people have made. I wasn't a huge fan of drafting a LT but Stanley will be a great player for us and we still have a another great player falling to us.
