Honest no bs assessment would be a major no on Perriman practicing before pre-season. I actually wouldn't mind having him come off PUP just to make sure he has fully healthy and rested legs for the hardest part of our schedule.
We have plenty of depth and talent for Flacco to throw too, last thing we need to be doing is rushing Perriman back just because he didnt play last year and was our #1 pick.
Who would of thought the guy to coach up our WRs would be a former Patriot. I'm all for hiring him on as an assistant WR coach, hell offer Smitty the WR coach position right now for next year.

I didnt get the chance to see the video but im hoping Wagner steps up this year. Has anyone else wondered if they would move Monroe to RT like they did with Oher? I still believe he will be trading when someones LT goes down but why not get a look at him next to Yanda during camp?
Quick someone get him a new bed!
K.O had the same problem..
As long as he remembers to keep everything infront of him, I have no doubt he will do better than what we have had playing back there lately.
Brown doesnt have a chance in my opinion, I believe Orr, KC or that Undrafted player(sorry I cant remember his name) has a better chance at starting next to CJ, which is a shame because Brown had the chance but couldn't produce.

They're willing to challenge the status quo at great image and 'ridicule' risk to themselves. However, sometimes it can also be diversion from what is important.
Monroe is a professional NFL player who signed with the Ravens for several millions of dollars in contract money. He needs to fulfill that obligation first and foremost. He's getting paid for it. The fact of the matter is he's been oft injured and unavailable to play LT for the Ravens. That being said, I would much rather Monroe chose retirement and then become part of the NFLPA and fight like hell to institute new rules with the next CBA. He has a better chance of getting something accomplished that way. Right now, it seems hollow since he's using his spare time advancing a cause that has no immediate victory considering Goodell's very recent stance and statement.
So what is the point really? I would much rather he come to the facility, rehab and get ready for mandatory mini camp and prove he can actually play healthy for an entire season first.
To be fair he has been at the facility all offseason rehabbing and getting ready for the season. I would rather have him miss this than anything actually serious, when he starts skipping mandatory camp and games then we have a problem. I am actually proud of him for taking a stand and doing this, some people call it stupid but he is doing it the right way.

They should be recruiting the cream from now on, so they will eventually funnel quality players into the NFL. One of the reasons not many Michigan players were drafted was, that almost no one, if anyone, declared early for the draft. Anyone who was there, decided to stay with Jim another year. So there was less to pick from. Next year will be something else! One player who I really wouldn't complain about showing up with the Ravens would be Jabril Peppers. That kid is magic!
I agree 100% the only downside is we wont have a chance at drafting him because he will be gone within the top 5 picks. Hands down I believe he is better than Ramsey and would be a complete steal for us if we happen to draft him. Maybe he will be "injured" at the end of the season and we can make more of a push for him in the late 1st round..

He's one of our draft picks that I really think has to shine to make the roster. Currently, I have him on our practice squad rather than the 53 man roster. But a lot can change during training camp and the pre season, so I wish him the best of luck. He definately has the talent to excell.
Being oringally from Michigan in a Huge Maze and Blue fan, Henry was a player that stood out every week as a dominate player, besides Peppers he was the best Defensive Player we had. I can see him having more of an impact than Carl Davis did for us last year.
Honestly the only reason why I think he slid so far in the Draft is because nobody respects the Michigan program yet. We have been so average the last 10 years that its going to take time to rebuild the talent and respect that Ohio State has but we definitely have the right people in place now for that to happen.
The only downside I see with us having such a talented deep young line is they might not be willing to pay Williams the money to stay a Raven after this year. There is no denying he will make huge money if we let him hit FA and the only way I dont see that happening is if we get his contract done after camp cuts.
Did anyone else laugh when they seen Maxx Williams name? I love Pitta but he has a better chance of getting released and I believe he will be.
I just dont see Camp or Talifero making the team, Waller hopefully falls to the PS and isnt claimed by another team.
1 hour ago, Orange_Peanut said:Powers is like the Corey Graham signing. He'll be starting across from Jimmy.
I believe Powers will be playing in the slot and Wright will keep the Outside. I know he got embarrassed in the Niners game but he got thrown into the Defense and improved every week.
There is no reason we dont have a top 3 Defense this year, I see this being a special season.
We are on a mission this offseason and it all started with the decision to change the Field, Expanding the Castle making a room just for injury prevention, Hiring an excellent trainer and coaches, An exciting FA and at the very least a Solid draft.
Now the first step in the 2nd half of the Offseason has been made and I absolutely love the signing, he will come in and compete from day one. I see him winning the Slot position and upgrading our already impressive secondary. One of the best things is he will allow our rookies to get a year of learning before being thrown out into the battle.
Now call me crazy or for thinking we have made some amazing moves and yes it would of been nice to keep K.O or sign Ramsey and Jack. But I'm extremely happy with the way our offseason has went and think its the most successful one we have had in a long time, in every aspect of the game.
Oh by the way....I heard Ray Lewis was looking for a job and personally I think Assistant LB coach sounds real nice for right now, Coaching up our guys every day would be a dream come true..
When CBD injections have proven to cure cancer but is still viewed as a negative thing to our society but people OD on pills everyday and they just continue to prescribe you script after script of actual drugs you know there is something wrong with our society and the fact that the major drug companies have control over everything.
If you havent done the research yourself, please just Google CBD curing Cancer and all the benifits it actually has. It should change the view of anyone that is against it, to see kids not suffer from radiation treatments and live a happy healthy life is simply amazing.
Amazing news and now an even better feeling that we stole him from the Patriots.
He will be a major part of our team next year, this year he will go through a learning experience but he has all the skills and determination to make the switch.
I see him making the 53 over Camp and taking over the return duties, he just needs the ball in his hands and is a TD machine.
2 hours ago, GENE2407 said:Go back and watch the games. Those teams tried to run the ball 35 times, inexplicably (including the Steelers who ran the ball on the first 10 plays). Mark my word, whenever a team had to or needed to throw the ball, they just dropped back and got it. 10, 15, 20 yards a pop. We were hopeless against those teams and more of the same will come this year. We can't cover, no undoing that now.
That will all change with Leslie coaching up the DBs, Don't underestimate how valuable he was of an addition.
Not only do we have a lot of competition across our Defense but Pees knows that if he doesnt have our boys playing the way they should we already have the coach and on the staff to replace him.
The Defensive line coach is familiar with his Defensive Schemes and will make the tansition easier if its something we decide to do before or during our bye week.
I dont see the point in being so negative about our team and players already, we have a great group of players and staff that prepare every day to go out and compete like a Raven. Personally I cant wait for the preseason so we can finally get a good look at our Rookies and that also means only a month away from the regular season.
I actually love our entire Defense, the only weakness I can honestly say we have is at ILB. Thats why I think we should run more Dime and 4-3 packages, the NFL is a passing league and all about speed.
Besides the addition of Frasier I think Chemistry in our secondary is a huge thing being under looked right now. Jimmy and Wright are best friends that know what the other guy is going to do before he even does it. Weddle and Wright played together and will pick that chemistry right back up and we already know Jimmy and Webb are superstars.
We will have a Top 3 Defense this year, Win the Division and have Home Field Advantage throughout our Playoffs to win that SuperBowl for Smitty, Sizzle, Dooms last ride and Tray Walker. This will be a special year and it has already stared with our Great Draft, Brady and Bryants Suspension.
I think he will be a great player for us next year, I dont have high expectations for anyone we drafted. I am just going to be excited when they stay healthy all year ( No IR) and get that valuable learning experience. Canady has a chance to start opposite of Jimmy next year with hopefully Young starting in the Nickel spot.

He actually has looked good running, well in the one video I seen anyways ?
I would love to see the Ravens have a little fun in the preseason and let Reynolds run the triple option with Dixon and Richardson. I guess i will be able to do it in Madden when it comes out, Tyrod was my secret weapon.
Im thinking Monroe will be a camp cut saving us 6.5mil, We have very underrated and young Offensive and Defensive Lines. My sad thought of the day though is Henry replacing Williams after this year, Brandon is a beast and is going to get major money. Well unless he wants to take a good faith contract, something like 2-3 years 6-7 mil but fully guaranteed. That would allow us to resign Tucker and Williams to both long term contracts. One can dream right? ?
13 hours ago, Liveitfully said:John. First, I respect your insight and your writing. You're one of the best.
Now, thought I would share thoughts on an interview that I saw last night with Jalen Ramsey and Myles Jack. It was chilling to say the least, and absolutely cut to the core.
Should Jack's knee hold up, and it's a big unknown, this draft should go down as our very worst and someone should be held accountable. This club has badly needed an infusion of Reed/Ray type talent for how long, and the draft set up in a way that this new duo of Ramsey and Jack could have been wearing purple.
I won't get into every detail of what I heard, and saw; but the tape doesn't lie, and watching Jack go through the Jaguars rookie minicamp workouts was unsettling. His explosion, fluidity and speed reminded no one of a guy with a bad knee.
And Ramsey. Well there is little that needs to be said. If Ozzie and Harbaugh believe that the combo of Stanley and Kaufusi make the Ravens a better team than Jalen alone, they are surely in the minority. They passed on a Deion type talent, but with more physical ability.
So here's to rooting for Stanley/Correa/Kaufusi. Let's hope that the trio more than holds their own. Otheriwse it's going to be very hard on Sundays to listen to Jaguar updates, and how Jack and Ramsey reminds some of a young Ray and Reed.
While I love Myles Jack and was extremely upset when we passed on him in the 2nd Rd, I hope he has an amazing career and stays healthy. I'm not a huge fan of Ramsey but he could prove me wrong.
Simple facts is if we traded up we wouldnt have a franchise LT or our 6'6 Bronson Wall, trading back and missing out on Jack gave us 2 extra great depth players also. I know ideally you want Ramsey or Jack but when it turns out to be a situation where you get 4 extra players out of it and with a team that showed obvious depth problems last year you have to play conservative.
1 hour ago, TheConquerorWorm said:I was at the Rookie practice yesterday (thanks BR.com) and here's what I saw:
Correa was in the QB's face all day - single drills, 11 on 11, etc.
Stanley at LT & Lewis at LG were a beast of a left side. Some serious size. They shutdown Judon & Henry on pass plays and made big holes on run plays. Could be what we see opening day on the left side and I'm good with that.
Judon has a nice speed rush but he needs to work on the other aspects of his game. He does explode off the ball though.
Chris Moore looked really, really good. He even looked good returning kicks. I heard the Torrey Smith comps going in but didn't believe it. He looks almost EXACTLY like Smith.
Ochi has a nice bull rush but I think NFL Tackles will eat him up - I now know why he was undrafted.
Tavon Young also looked really, really good. If he was 2 inches taller, he's a Top 10 overall pick (better than Apple, Alexander, Willie Jax III). He smothered the WR in all drills.
I wasn't that impressed with Canady - he looks a little stiff and likes to grab & hold onto the WR to make up for it. Needs some work.
Willie Henry will be a DT stud in 2 years (he's only 21). Thanks Bro Harbaugh for that lay-up.
On a side note: Tackle Blaine Clausell is a HUGE man. He looked like the Wildling Giant from Game of Thrones....
Thanks for the update, I was wondering how they have looked so far. I know its early but its nice to actually hear about them practicing.. I think Judon will be special for us after learning a year behind Sizzle and Doom.
I am still a firm believer that Correa will play inside next to CJ, thats his best position in the NFL and Bronson, Judon and Ochi can learn behind Sizzle and Doom.
5 hours ago, #PlayLikeARaven1234567890 said:I was pretty happy with our draft, except for Kamalei Correa! We should've either picked Noah Spence ( To fix our pass rush) or Reggie Ragland(To shore up ILB). IMO Kamalei Correa doesn't have the athletiscm and strength to succeed in the NFl. He's very stiff and cant bend around the tackle. HE doesn't utilize any pass rush moves.
I want to see him playing inside next to CJ, I see him succeeding there the most. He can learn right next to Mosley and will benefit using his speed to shoot the Highway lanes that Brandon Williams opens up. He has the athletic ability to cover most RB's, TE's and can switch to OLB in certain situations to rush the passer.
We have guys like Bronson, Judon and Ochi that can learn behind Sizzle and Doom. Those guys have serious potiental and are humble small school prospects that are willing to prove they have what it takes to be in the NFL.
About time we have someone good enough on the team I can actually justify buying the #69 Jersey. It helps I am originally from Michigan too though, so im a huge Big Willie fan.
Our Defensive line is stacked with talent and im hoping the starting front 7 will be.
Bronson, Williams, Jernigan
Sizzle, CJ, KC, Doom
No matter who starts though I know we have the Talent and Coaches to win us the SuperBowl this year.

Personally I would keep Kyle around for another year with the amount of injuries we tend to have at that position, it would be foolish to cut a great depth player so early in the season.
