I couldnt be any prouder of our team, yeah blowing teams out would be nice but knowing your team is going to put themselves in the position to win the game is an amazing feeling. We are only going to get better as the year goes on with the team developing chemistry and confidence for the young players. I hope with Flacco going to Trestman and telling him he needs to throw it deep more will finally give Flacco the chance to go back to pushing the Defense back and open up the run game more. We finally have the talent to spread it out and let Flacco run the Offense, lets hope they let him prove his Elite status.

I am a huge fan of bigger RBs but what I really wanna see is Brandon Williams come in at FB for those short yardage plays. I love Juice but we need bigger bodies in there to hit someone or push the pile.
Personally I wish they would just give Flacco the opportunity to call his own plays and run the Offense the way he wants. He is at his best when he is in that situation, I believe it will turn this Offense into a top 10 unit.
It will be nice to have Doom back but I love that Judon has had the chance to step in for him and get this valuable playing time. He will be a huge player for us in the future and is only getting better.

I was excited with the way our OL played against the Bills.. We started two rookies on the left side and still gave up half the sacks the Bengals did. The Bills have a great defense and they know our team inside and out. Our line will only get better as the year goes on, especially since Yanda wont have a game like that again.
I dont know why you guys are hating so much, Bills Defense is hands down better than anyone else our Division faced. I was extremely happy with the game and besides the bad snap we had a solid game. I know everyone wants to be the highest scoring team in the league but all that matters is the win. We had plenty of time to score another touchdown when we ran the clock out but it wasnt needed. At least wait until week 4 before you start complaining and comparing.

As much as I love Tyrod, he needs to be hit on every play action and option play.. I just dont wanna see him get hurt and have a great season after week 1.. I will be screaming all game long at work tomorrow no matter what though while im listening to the game.
If you watch any of KCs college tape he fits ILB way better than OLB in the NFL. He was getting blown back against the college guys because he isnt big enough to set the edge. Having him learn ILB is not a waste because its utilizes his speed but it will just take time.
My question is by keeping Elam on the roster and him leaving at the end of the season get us a high comp pick? Thats the only thing I can think of, us cutting him now will give us nothing.
I hope Flacco goes up to KC and lets him know that now is the time to let Taz out and he gets that edge back he had in camp. I think the smart move with Dixon would be letting him rest until week 5-6, just because he has already injured that same knee twice and I would hate to see him do serious damage to it.

Unless your Taliferro or Allen.. I understand we will be releasing Zo when he comes back but I would of much rather had Butler than Allen, same with Brooks over Lewis.
I love the signing, its going to be a cheap deal and he obviously still has the hands for catching the returns which is the most important thing. Im not expecting any returns for a TD unless its a complete collapse in coverage but i do expect him to catch it every time and make smart decisions.
Personally I would love to send Josh Johnson and a late round pick to the Vikings for Cordell Patterson. The dude is great in the return game and could be the starter opposite of Perriman next year. I hope they make the right decision when it comes to Butler, even if it means letting Allen go. Well all know West and Dixon are the future of the RB position and with the injury bug our WRs always catch it would be a great move. I would much rather have Levine as our 3rd ILB than Brown.. Those are just my opinions lol..
Cordell Patterson would be the only guy I would love to see us trade for. He is the answer to our return problem and just like Wallace they dont know how to use him on Offense.
I believe we would all love to see the Defense start faster but I am excited to see we are actually creating turnovers. I am hoping when the season actually starts we wont be lining up 10 yards off the ball but im not going to hold my breath. The biggest thing im shocked about is KC being absolutely a nonfactor this preseason after hearing nothing but great things about him all offseason.
I hope we dont fall for the Elam trap, He hasnt taken the team or the NFL serious since he joined the league. Its actually frustrating to hear that he is starting to make plays now that he knows this is his last chance on our team. Brooks has outshined him ever since he has been on the team, personally its not a hard decision between the two of them.
Does anyone know if they (DBs) practice turning their head when they see the WRs hands come up for the catch? At first it will look ugly but ultimately it will lead to less Flags and more INTs.

Guess I should have been there yesterday, but since we don't get a choice...oh well. The high light of the day was shaking Gov. Larry Hogan's hand. Guess I'm just a little sore since this is twice that I have been broken hearted....and then some. First time, had to leave early due to weather, and then this. I was SO excited.........we left early.
I guess thats the spoiled part of living so close to the team. I would love to have the chance to see the team any chance i got but living across the country thats pretty hard.

I suppose if I step onto a field and take one snap as a long snapper and manage to get it to the holder I guess that means I can be a long snapper in the NFL...and perhaps be a pro bowler too.
It was probably against Mallet so that doesnt really count anyways ? I am pulling for the guy though, I think he could be a Doom type player but he just needs a year of training.
I love Forsett but I just dont see him making the team. He is a great guy and should get another chance to play but with Allen and Dixon guaranteed to make the 53 we only have room for one more RB and West is not only younger but also the cheaper option. Unfortunately living across the country I dont get to see them practice, so i can only go off what i read and even though Forsett has the leadership its West that has shown up to win the starting job.
If you guys think we keep 4 RBs what position do you think will take the hit? I have us taking 6 WRs and 4 TEs. I couldn't justify cutting one of them for Forsett..
17 hours ago, EdTheMythicalOne said:Who promptly retired and isn't playing for anyone else even though he had several teams interested.
I dont blame him, he is now pushing for something more important than playing football. He would still be playing if it wasnt for us cutting him because of his stand on medical marijuana in the NFL.

Hopefully Ravens can get a vet to add proven experience to this group. I am not that sold on Wright and Arrington . I think Chargers had a worst pass defense than Ravens so adding Weddle as a starter may not be enough alone.
Personally I think Wright is going to have a great year opposite of Jimmy. He got thrown into action last year and while he struggled as every true football fan knew he would, he owned up to it and ended the season doing great for us. Having an entire offseason to practice and gain chemistry with the team will only improve where he left off last year. Weddle wont be Reed by any means but he will be a lot better than what we have had since..
Tucker will retire a Raven... Now that I got that out of the way lol I think they are trying to figure out how they can sign Brandon Williams long term before the season starts, If we dont get a deal done with him before the season starts I honestly dont see how we can bring him back.
2 hours ago, runcontrol said:People keep forgetting about the running backs. We might not have a top back like we did for years with guys like Lewis and Rice, but we have a good group of backs and all of them can catch the ball(including the fullback). So, like everyone keeps saying, if this team can stay healthy there should be weapons all over the field.
It would be nice to have the room to keep all five tight ends, but I just don't see that happening. Someone will have to go and I think most people are going to say Waller. I would hate to see him go, with his speed and size he could do some damage, but its probably going to come down to him or Pitta and Pitta has shown he can play in the NFL. But you can never tell what Ozzie is thinking. He might keep Waller, because he is a player the could be on the team for years, while we have no idea how much longer Pitta will be able to play at this level.
Dont worry Dixon will be a top back in the NFL?
I hate the idea of cutting Waller and then seeing him tear it up for someone like Oakland, Browns or Texans..
43 minutes ago, Saxxin said:Until I see Perriman on the field I can't bring myself to believe he'll be on the field. He can't even stay healthy long enough to wear pads in practice. I hope he proves me wrong but that's what it will take to change my mind.
IMO even if he doesnt take the field until next year and is finally 100% healthy I will be happy. I cant imagine the pain of your dream finally coming true by being drafted into the NFL and having amazing talent but not being able to actually play. Im just thankful that he is getting the chance to learn from SSS for when he is healthy.

I have no faith in the replay system if they couldnt tell that Colemans foot was on the line. The moment i seen it on the highlights I knew he was out of bounds, technology is too good these days to miss calls like that..
