Face it, If Mosley just sits down after that pic, Baltimore wins that game....

If we had a Offense that any of us felt like they would of scored a TD from there he would of ran out of bounds instead of trying to make the crucial play that our Offense couldnt do so many times. I put no blame on CJ and actually feel bad for the guy because nobody puts more blame on him for that mistake than himself. He will bounce back and continue to make great plays for us every week and im hoping I will be able to say the same thing about our Offense.

Injury reports have very little value IMO. I read them here every week, but they are designed to obscure who is actually injured and who will actually play.

Today was basically a rest day for Vets all across the league.. With both teams on a losing streak and being a "must win" game so early in the year, I expect most of the players out there.

    Well, maybe.

I remember us saying that it "couldn't get much worse" in regards to our secondary in 2014, and then a bunch of starters that weren't playing well got injured, and reserves of reserves started playing.

And what do you know... it got worse. A lot worse.

I certainly don't think Judon qualifies as the kind of rusher who's guaranteed to get "instant pressure". He may be slightly better than ZaDarius at this point, but I'm not seeing a huge gap in production there. I get that Judon is a fanboard darling, but those guys tend to not live up to the hype from fans more often than they do.

We were 3-0 when Judon was active and have lost both games he has been inactive.. I know people will say its just coincidence but I say we test that theory this weekend and activate the man!

"He is going to have to put his foot in the ground and drive the ball to some guys, and some guys are going to have to make the catches.”

This is the struggle of the entire offense. Joe can't put his plant foot in the ground when the defenders are collapsing the pocket and he's being pushed backwards. And Aiken, Wallace & Perriman are dropping too many balls. Aiken catches that ball against Oakland and Tucker kicks the winning FG. Perriman gets his feet down or Wallace makes that catch and maybe that's a win as well. Winners make plays.

Aiken had 3 guys on him with that catch, Joe simply should of thrown somewhere else but in situations like that he tends to already have his mind set on who he is throwing the ball too before the ball is even snapped.

I blame the NCAA for even allowing 1 foot down to be ruled a catch, thats when most guys are learning the most and gaining that muscle memory. If they changed it to 2 feet down like every other level then you would see a lot more younger WRs making those catches. Perriman is still very young and will make a lot of spectacular catches for us throughout his career.

Joe was as responsible for this move as Harbaugh. His remarks calling the offense "embarrassing" rang the bell. I'm glad Harbaugh picked up on it as quick as he did. I thought Steve would have to do it.

Joe hasn't been happy about our sad excuse of play calling in back to back weeks.. I wouldnt be shocked if he started the #firetrestman thing ?

i just saw a pic on that fake FG Justin lined up as a left footed kicker and the side he through to was staked. Harb's seat is starting to get warm. IMO.

I am forced to listen to the game and as soon as the announcers seen him lined up left footed they knew it was going to be a fake, Im sure the entire Defense did also.. I love the play call but I just wish he would of lined up the right way.

  7. I would love to wake up tomorrow and read that Ravens fire Trestman and promote Bobby Engram to OC. I dont trust Juan or Marty with running the Offense and there is no way we will have a winning record with Trestman. Sadly I know I will wake up to the same excuses and we will do better this week stuff that we are told every week. Fact is that in the last 2 years of Trestman running the Offense we have been absolutely horrible. What kind of disrespect are we showing to Smitty for him to fight back and hold off his retirement to be apart of this embarrassing excuse of an Offense..

  8. I am excited for the future of Perriman, this is his 5th NFL game and people are calling him a bust is laughable. He is YOUNG and will make MISTAKES but once he gains his confidence and plays to his potential then everyone will love him and realise they jumped to conclusions way too early.. Our entire team could of played better and thats starting with Flacco. I will save my #FireTrestman rant for another topic but I honestly dont see us having a winning record let alone making the playoffs with him calling our plays.

No one should fault Mosley, he was trying to make the most of the play...which is more than can be said of many other players on this team. If we had a functional offense, perhaps he would have opted to step out of bounds and let the offense punch in the routine TD. We all know, our offense would have likely settled for a FG even from that spot. Hence, I don't blame Mosley for going for it...just had a bad break. I can't even believe Harbaugh had the temerity to call him out for it...then again he's proven to be a master of deflection in his regrettable tenure here.

YES!!! He is not a selfish player at all but knew that was the best chance of actually scoring a TD.

he was not even close to covering crabtree, who is a mediocre receiver, 3 times in the endzone and picked apart easily all day. clearly no cover skills. it is appalling that the ravens coaching staff resigned this dude unless he was to be the 4th or 5th on the depth chart. again, we passed on drafting a decent corner this year and instead went with correa and kaufusi, who both look slow. any time your best attribute is a "high motor", that is a red flag. i am getting pretty concerned about the evaluation skills at the edges. jimmy smith is ok, but they are still yet to draft a decent receiver, safety or cornerback since ed reed and webb. they can't even seem to hit on free agents.

Pretty sure that JJ Watts best attribute coming out of college was he had a high motor and that turned out just fine.. Not hitting on Free Agents? Now im convinced you ment to be on the Browns website and not the Ravens.

  11. Not saying he didnt have a bad game but the Safety is over top for a reason. If that pass was a short route and he ran it back for a TD we would all be talking about what a great play it was. I dont see us making a change until at least the bye week and thats if there is one to come. I like Powers and Young but they wouldnt be doing any better on the outside and unfortunately we dont have anyone else. I dont see us trading for anyone and unless our Offense steps its game up none of it reallt matters because we cang put up points ourselves.

  12. I agree our Offense has the chance to be excellent, if they let Flacco call his own plays! Im tired of seeing other teams put up points like they are nothing and now that we finally have the weapons we play this dink and dunk crap until it stalls out or someone makes a big play out of it. If we have any plans on competing in our division let alone the playoffs we need to change our poor excuse of an offense..

Let's go 4-0 and see what other stats people can dig up to tell us all that the Ravens still suck.

They will say that the Raiders have one of the worst defenses and had back to back trips across country, that we found yet another way to win a close game against a young talented team. What they wont be talking about is how our Defense is winning games for us and that Trestman needs to let Flacco run the Offense.

Our pass rush could definitely be better but it's still rated 7th or something like that (hoping Doom helps bring that up a couple notches) but... Carr gets rid of the ball quick so if we aren't pressing the wr's, I wouldn't expect many sacks

I just hope everyone on the Dline gets their hands up like Timmy did last week. This game will be a great test for our run defense, I dont think I have read to many people talking about that but it could be the difference maker.

Trestman's problem is the same as it's always been. He doesn't have a competent QB to facilitate his playbook.

Sorry but Trestmans problem is he is too predictive on the play calling. He doesnt know how to use Flacco to the best of his abilities and honestly I wouldnt be shocked if he is fired by the end of the year if he doesnt let Flacco take control of this Offense. The next two home games is the perfect chance to do that.

It's Lewis in the protocol, but same thing.

He ran behind a terrible line at Louisiana Tech so it's not like he hasn't done that before. I know I probably have unreasonable expectations, but he has a shot at rookie of the year. Had one of pff's highest elusive ratings last year, and will hopefully have the opportunity.

The problem is that he is coming off back to back injuries to the same knee.. I know a lot of us fans have high expectations for the guy but im worried if we rush him back to soon that he will end up causing more damage and thats the last thing we want for our franchise back. I wouldnt bring him back until next week at the earliest and thats just for a couple series. Its a long season and fresh legs are a great thing to have at the end of the year.  Our problem is more of the very predictive play calling that gives our guys no chance before the snap, Im guessing most of our negative yardage is from our 1st down runs every single time.

I think we are under estimating what KO meant to the OL. That being said... we should be running the ball better then we have been. I think ALewis being out with a concussion and placing Urschel at G will show improvement. Urschel knows the system and will make both Zuttah and Stanley's job a little easier. A Lewis looks like a great addition down the road and he has all of the tools and physicality but he isn't there yet mentally. Urschel will be an upgrade this week and we will see it in our run game!

I might be wrong but im pretty sure it was Jensen that came in for Alex and not Urschel..

At first l wasn't, but l'm extremely happy with the Stanley pick. I wanted Ramsey but the Stanley pick was very more valuable than Ramsey and might be the better pick. But towards next year, we should definitely fill up our entire draft defense with passrushers, safties, and definitely corners. We gotta fix the secondary and make it a stronger one. Should draft a corner in the first round next year.

I am expecting BPA at #32 next year..

I think we have great young depth on both sides of the ball.

Glad we found this guy because after this season Brandon Williams won't be a Raven. I think he has priced himself out of Baltimore and will get a huge payday from another team.

Unfortunately I have this same feeling, I was hoping we would get him a new contract before the season started because that was the only way I seen him coming back next year. I am a huge Michigan fan so im bias towards Willie Henry but I think he will do great things for us in the future also..
