Could've been an option if we didn't sign Jefferson. I think there is about a 1% chance we take him now. We're set at the Safety position for years, And Peppers is too small to play LB in the NFL. He would have to add 25lbs to even be a small ILB. I agree though, he was a leader at the combine.

Peppers would be able to learn under Weddle this year and immediately contribute in the return game. Ravens already said they would be interested in getting another safety if he fit the team and I don't think there is a better one to do that. Jefferson could easily slide inside on certain formations and be able to hold his own, more and more teams are switching to smaller but more athletic WILB so keep up with the TE's and RBs in the passing game. If we don't draft him and he ends up a Steeler I guarantee he will make Ozzie and Eric regret passing him up.

Welcome to Crabland Mr. Jefferson. You get great mexian food, Indian food and every other cuisine you can think of right here around Baltimore and I guarantee you its just as good if not better than Arizona.

Sorry but nothing beats In and Out...  Simple but fresh and always amazing. That's the only thing I miss about California since moving up to Washington lol

not a big deal to me that juice is gone but watch how kyle shanahan utilizes this guy. hope that is a design of the shirt that woodhead is wearing because if it is not than he needs some serious antiperspirant

Juice is going to look great in Kyle's system. I can't wait to see what Greg Roman will come up with to fix our run game, he likes using multiple TE's and creative runs.

Even though i like Williams as a player, i do not think he was worth investing 10 mil+ into. I would rather find a slightly less "marquee" name, and pay them well but not break the bank. They are not getting a return on investment on any of these high dollar contracts. Ngata, Suggs, Dumervile, Webb, Pitta, J Smith. None of them have turned into better players than they were. Although Suggs and Doom have had some strong years here and there in their careers, I find both of them disappearing for games or chunks of entire seasons with little impact. J Smith plays about 3 strong games a season. And Flacco has been terrible. To me, this team is a hot mess with no chemistry or cohesiveness.

I love keeping Brandon even at 10 mil a year, not only is he a run stopping beast but he pulls double teams every play. I laughed when I read about Ngata, Sizzle, Doom, Webb, Pitta and Jimmy because If you take out Pitta then everyone else played good enough to earn their contracts. Jimmy had a hard time coming back from his injury but we all know he is a shut down corner and our team is trash when he is out.

If he falls to the second and we do land him then it would be great news but that's a big if and a lot of luck is involved so don't coins on it lol.

until that happens, any player projected to go in the top 20 getting hurt or off field trouble is bad news.it simply decreases the possibility of a top 10 talent falling to the Ravens at 16

Unfortunately he won't be able to play at all this year so I don't see a team taking him until at least the 3rd round. I wouldn't mind him and Jake Butt (TE) both are very talented players slipping to the 3rd because of injuries. They will both be able to take a year off to heal and learn the system before stepping in and being major contributors next year.

  6. Please sign Jeffery.

Jeffery will cost us way too much, I would rather save the money from signing him to a huge contract and resign Brandon Williams and if we have the money left over then Marshall. Sadly as every day passes without a new contract for Williams I get the sense he will not be back next year, I can see the Niners paying him around 10-12 mil a year to fit perfectly with their last 2 year 1st Rd picks.

At this point I think the pick will be Wilson also. I think Barnett will be gone and I think that Peppers (while not the same) will leave some thinking that he would be a repeat of Elam.

I'm waiting for the combine to make my official guess.

Please don't ever compare Peppers to Elam again, it just makes your football intelligence seem pretty low. Peppers is a playmaker that will compare with Patrick Peterson over a bust player that never took his NFL career serious.

Before we got a coordinator in 2015, we had a choice to get between Marc Trestman or Kyle Shanahan... boy that was a horrible mistake right there. All well. I believe they should hire a new offensive coordinator because l don't think Mornhinweg is gonna cut it. They should try to lean towards getting somebody like a Norv Turner who can give us some balance. Mornhinweg play call give us too many passing attempts in a game.

What do you think about Greg Roman? I loved watching all his different run schemes when he was the Niners OC.. I'm not getting my hopes up about any change because knowing Harbs he would promote Juan Castillo as the OC with his reasoning being he knows what kind of schemes we want to run.

If that happens the coach would certainly be gone.

This is Harbs crucial year, either he turns this team back around to it's winning days or both him and #5 will be gone. The Browns have been a joke for far too long and finally have the right GM and HC to turn things around, I can see them beating us both times if we have the same OC and DC.. I'm tired of not running the ball and not even seeing our DBs on the screen "covering" the WRs. When we do blitz they recognize it right away and adjust before the snap of the ball. We are stuck in a funk and it's not good...

We don t really need Max. Wouldn't you trade him for a top pass rusher or a top DB which is what the team need. We have Pitta and Waller for our passing TE and Boyle and Gilmore as blocking TE. And yes people will give value to Ben Watson. Did you see him when he was playing for the saints before we get him. I m looking at the Jimmy Graham trade now and if i were Ozzie, i ll be calling Titans, Vikings, Eagles GMs for trade. We need elite game changers not just regular good players

Everyone would love to trade a backup TE for a star player but it's just not gonna happen. I can see Waller moving back outside to WR and allowing us to keep a good young player. I don't see us bringing back Wallace because the increase in his contract and the fact that we have Perriman, Moore, Camp, Waller and whoever we pick up in the 4th round. We need Defense with our first 3 rounds, especially losing Brandon and being Sizzles last year.

The problem with throwing to Wallace and Perriman is that they are only targeted for bombs of 30 or more yards, That's Joe's favorite play and he sits back waiting for them to come open. He's usually under duress before he tries to find an outlet. So looking back, there he was all season long, either forcing the throw, throwing out of bounds, bouncing it or overthrowing it to a rb, or taking the sack. He may have thrown for 4000 yds, but, he is the king of 3 and outs.

It looked to me this season that #5's favorite play was the 3 yard dump off.. You can't blame the protection because if you go back and watch the games #5 only looks towards one side of the field and it's whatever side Pitta is on.

So Boldin and Steve Smith weren't good receivers?

Boldin and Smitty came here because of the Ravens not just because of #5. Boldin easily could of came back but didn't want to play for #5 again and everyone could see how pissed Smitty got with #5 this year, especially his final game when #5 came up to him on the Bench and Smitty ignored him completely. Please football gods let us find a sucker team to trade him too..

All those fans that wanted us to lose to have a earlier draft pick should now be happy. Hope it made their day.

I didnt want us to lose, especially being Smitty's last game but we deserved to lose that game. #5 knows that he isn't going anywhere no matter how bad he plays and its easy to see. I would love to see us trade up in the draft with our 3rd round comp pick but I can already see us trading down for more middle of the draft picks.

That was painful! And Tucker had a few near misses after. I hope this didn't get to him. As far as Hester, come on man! Way to put a struggling offense in a nut. Twice!

He was watching for the guy on his next couple attempts which threw off his routine. I dont expect Hester to be in the NFL after this season, hopefully we can draft someone next year (Jabril Peppers) to take over return duties.
