  1. I have no doubt in my mind we will all be celebrating after our Ravens DOMINATE the Broncos. Yeah facing Manning is always scary but he has proved the last 2 years he can't make the deep throws anymore. Have you seen his throws this year? It's going to be a party on the defense, Jimmy will shut down DT and Hill will be over the top making sure Sanders doesn't run right past Webb. Nobody on their line will be able to match up with "The Hulk" Brandon Williams or "The Thing" Timmy Jernigan. Plus having CJ shooting the A gaps will give Manning no time to drop back to pass. I see them abandoning the under center crap and Manning will be running his no huddle offense by the second half. But by then it will be too late with us being up 21-0. Crockett Gillmore will have a ProBowl year and this game is where it all starts. I can't wait until tomorrow..

  2. Watching Manning play I'm not worried at all about our secondary and with the horrible line and RBs that are behind him I don't see why we won't blow them out of the game like the Hawks did a few years ago. We just can't afford to let him dink and dunk it all the way down the field. Make him attempt those deep passes and give time for our great Defensive players to come up with those INTs. I for one see us having a Monster game Sunday and I will be chanting the O's in the middle of Buffalo Wild Wings surrounded by Seahawks fans. Speaking of them I can't wait until we dominate them at home and shut up their annoying fans.

  3. I honestly believe that if we ran the 4-3 like the Bills do then our Defensive Line would be the most talked about in the NFL. Oh and I love Webb but I have more faith in Melvin starting opposite of Jimmy. I just wish we were more aggressive on Defense and gave our players the chance to make plays instead if the off 5 yards lets play it safe crap we have been doing the last few years.

  4. I have to admit that I'm shocked that so many people are talking great things about him. I'm sure I will get negged for saying that but being a Tyrod fan since day one I've seen way more bad things coming out of peoples mouths than good. He always has been a great QB and had the potiental to be a franchise QB, now he finally gets the chance to prove it. It's going to be a great game when we play them in the playoffs instead of the Patriots.

  5. I watched the play so many times that I noticed the Ref doing his best Flacco impression. He had to of thrown that flag 15 yards with perfect form. Oh and two words for Crockett Gillmore, Thank You! Seeing you dominate like you do and being the definition of Play Like A Raven makes it a lot easier knowing we will never see Pitta play again. Maxx Williams has the perfect player to learn from. Just like our WRs have with SSS.

  6. Sorry but the only reason why Orr is still on the team is because Brown can't/won't play special teams. I say won't because EVERYONE that has ever played a day of football knows how to play special teams. I now see why Ray Lewis didn't want to welcome him on our team and took the first chance to welcome CJ and give him advice. If we are lucky we can trade him for a late draft pick or a legit returner. I had high hopes for Brown when we drafted him but I have already faced the fact he doesn't have the work ethic or desire to be a starting NFL player.

You know this criticism isn't warranted we all know in his rookie season he did well in place of jameel mclain but his progressed was slowed due to cj mosely taking a lot of his starter reps then after that it was stopped again with zach orr no offense to him so you can't stand out if ur not really given a chance outside of small opportunities so no he isn't a bust he's just finally getting a chance to develop and learn at the nfl level after so many stops

  7. Out of everything to watch and be excited for this year it's not Jimmy and Webb being healthy, not our shiny new toy in Perriman, its not Smitty's last season or CJ beastinf again. I can honestly say its going to be watching our young superstars on the Dline. Brandon, Carl and Timmy are the foundation for our lights out Defense. I can only hope and pray we can keep Upshaw after this year because that dude is scary good also.

  8. Ravens are the one team in the NFL that everyone knows they would get beat like a red headed step child if they acted up. Yanda, Smitty, Suggs, Upshaw, Timmy, Brandon, Crockett, Hill and I'm sure K.O would do just fine.. But on the bright side I'm excited we get to test our team against a hyper speed team. Broncos have no clue what's in store for them..

  9. I understand where your coming from but you do realise when we played the Patriots last we had our 4th and 5th string corners playing right? I for one am very exited for this year, Steve Smith is even more dangerous being "semi retired" he is a great player and behind Forsett we have great depth too. You might say the Ravens tattoo on my left forearm has my opinion a little bias or the fact that I bleed Purple but we have a special team this year and even with our schedule being the hardest its been I'm not concerned one bit. If you remember a Raven was spotted at the Levi stadium where the SuperBowl is hosted this year and flew off when the color changing scoreboard hit Purple. It's our destiny to win the SuperBowl this year.

I am severely concerned about our secondary, 1st thru 3rd on the depth chart. I cannot fathom watching another season of our db's in hot pursuit, trailing each and every receiver. They do not cover, they follow, and as for tackling, that's even worse. They square up 4-6 yards deep rather than come up for the tackle. Even Webb tackles shoulder high. While the team is solid in many respects, it is also very deficient in fundamental tackling and awareness.

It's easy to say go Ravens! We got this, etc. what really benefits this team is sound criticism that can be worked on. Our schedule this year is a tough as it's been in the Harbaugh era. Another new O.C., mixed with a semi-retired Smith and a pile of sophomore and rookie Wr's and TE's and a one year wonder in Forsett and things could get ugly real quick if we get too complacent.

I'm begging Pees to commit to getting the defense of the field sooner rather than the bend but don't break coverage we play every series. I'd like to see them Get more aggressive on D and force some things. What happened in NE, giving up (2) 14 point leads to dink and dunk offense needs to be addressed. Press coverage and better linebacker play is a must.

Oh never mind, go Ravens, I'm sure we'll make the playoffs and take our chances and see where that gets us right? Or we could actually make proactive changes in coaching philosophy and demand results from the respective position coaches and win home field advantage for only the 2nd time in team history.

  10. I would love to see us run a lot of Shotgun in our game against the Broncos. We absolutely have the Talent to run it effectively and it would throw off Kubiak since he is the one that basically built our playbook and knows our team inside and out. We can't just go in and run the same plays as last year against him because he knows the weak points and will exploit them.
