Now that looked really good. Schaub!
Crockett doing very well.
Waller time, please!
Flacco CAN run!
Well there goes that
Hope the kickers allow returns and not boom every kick out of the end zone. Want to see returns.
Is there something more to Perriman's injury? I saw a report that he's not even on the sidelines at practice. If he's not on the sidelines tonight you have to wonder if they spirited him away to Europe to get those nouveau treatments that are unapproved and unavailable in the U.S.
Can't wait to see him on the field.
Wow, Steve Smith hands out Steve Smith Ravens coins to the military when he goes abroad. His idea after receiving coins from the various military units he visited. Very upstanding guy. Seen this on the pre-game show. Wish he had been a Raven his entire career. He'll probably want to play the entire game tonight!
Very good point. We may not get to truly see the WR battle, TE battle, or LT - Buck battle, if the O-line is very bad. We shall see though. Just a couple hours to go.Oh and oline is gonna be a complete joke after 1st string leaves..
No urschel or Myers for the backup group
Most interested in Za'Darius, Carl Davis, KLM, Webby and the Lewis-Hill combo at safety. Doubt the later three will go beyond a series or two. Unless Arthur Brown shows something really special I think he doesn't make final 53. On offense, the TEs - Gilmore, Maxx, Boyles. All the WRs and who can stretch the field given Perriman seems to be more seriously injured than first believed. Waller is most interesting. If he can consistently get behind the secondary with his size and build he could be a tremendous find. Go Ravens!
This Perriman saga is a concern. So many missed practices now with more coming, I wonder now if he'll miss the preseason opener against the Saints. He is the guy that gives us the confidence in the WR core. Without him we start to question if the Ravens can stretch the field, can SSS get open with the safeties pinching up instead of laying back. Although unproven and a rookie Perriman's presence alone is a huge factor, let alone the production we all think he'll have. I imagine the staff is being super cautious with his injury but it's disappointing not seeing him practice. Good things come to those who wait. We've been waiting and I bet he'll be great. Go Ravens!
Leave it to Suggs. He'll come up with something. He dubbed Pitta, "The White Tightend". Until Suggs comes up with something, I like Dos Equis.
Will teams have more of a base offense on the field with the 2d string QB as the holder for the PAT from the 15? This might force defenses to be more of a base defense rather than employing all that beef to push the center of the line back for a block. With a QB as the holder and WRs split out and TE or RB in the slot the threat of faking the PAT kick and going for the 2 points from the 15 will always be there. Defenses will have no choice but to have the regular defensive unit on the field. This in turn would greatly diminish the likelihood of a blocked PAT. Just a thought.
I'd say it's far better Tray Walker had trouble covering Perriman than Perriman had trouble getting separation from Walker during rookie mini-camp. Perriman did what was expected. Maybe Perriman is so good he made Walker look worse than he really is. That's what I'm hoping! Perriman becomes the elite number 1 WR and Walker becomes a very solid corner this year. Go Ravens.
I'm one of the few Ravens fans who doesn't loathe Brady or the Patriots. However, it is abundantly clear to the most ardent Patriots fan that a culture exists in NE that promotes or fosters cheating. This is what the NFL must change in that organization. They only way to do so is with penalties, fines, and suspensions that will not only make the Patriots think twice about cheating but other organizations as well. Something similar to the sanctions levied against the Saints for Bounty-gate. Suspend Kraft and Belichick for the year. They are responsible for the culture of cheating permeating throughout the organization. Suspend Brady the LAST 6-8 games of the season and for the entire post season the next time the Patriots qualify.
Torrey does still comment on Ravens topics. Wonder what 49er fans think of that? Seems his heart is still in Baltimore and maybe some regret about leaving? IDK.Quite frankly, I don't give a crap what Torrey Smith says. I don't know why we still cover that money chaser. He walked out on us. I thought that was the end of it.
With Monroe coming in lower than expected, wonder if Mack is still viable?
I hope it's not Hostler! It's not like he's done terrific with the receivers over the years. He didn't light up the SF offense the year he was OC there, either. His only positive seems to be a Harbaugh friend and loyalist, but in B-more these days that's all one needs to get promoted. SMH.
