  1. Well Webb bad coverage and now hurt. Yikes!
  2. Nah we react on every single play. That's all. No harm.
  3. Got to use these TEs!
  4. Flacco! Typical underthrow
  5. Come on O. Need something special.
  6. Ravens seem to lack energy.
  7. And once again relying on FGs. Points sure but geez bad bad play calling fades to the small guys when you have Crockett, Marlon, Waller, Williams, Boyle.
  8. No ingenuity at all in those red zone calls
  9. He wasn't anywhere near open. Jump ball to shortest guy
  10. Come on. Something special here
  11. Hey, Trestman the field is a 100 Yds
  12. Guess Trestman will now go run run pass. Just wow. At least D held them to FG.
  13. I wonder if Monroe has more games missed than played since signing the big contract. Even when he plays he's a slightly below average tackle. What a bust free agent LT signing. Bringing Urschel in at guard and sliding KO or Yanda might be the better option than swapping Monroe with Hurst. Hurst must do better this week. It's frustrating that injuries are debilitating the team already. The Ravens depth is poor which is surprising.
  14. Very well written article, Kevin. Thank you. The bond between the Colts and the Baltimore community was unsurpassed. Such cohesion between player and citizen will never be seen again anywhere. It was a very special era. The Colts reversing the jackets to Ravens let the Baltimore community know that everything would be fine with the new team in town. Again, a gesture unlikely to be replicated anywhere. On a different note, Kevin's description of that 1st season Ravens offense got me pumped and excited just reading it. Such a complete 180 we Ravens fans are experiencing with this Trestman rendition of the offense.
  15. The only thing we can possibly find out about the WRs is confirmation of their inabilities should the offense struggle again. This is the Raiders with their two starting safeties out. If the WRs have a decent game nothing is learned. The WRs have to excel against decent competition before proclaiming them better than average or even average. Why is it the Ravens are back to this old and or slow WR dilemma? So frustrating.
  16. Perfectly stated! This is the NFL. Players, coordinators, coaches saying we should have done this, done that, we'll prove it next game. Wait a minute! Why wait until next game? Do it in the present game. Show what you got, WRs. Show you can identify problems and adapt during the game, coordinators. Why all this we'll fix it next time. You all are professionals. Adapt and excel immediately. Tired of these excuses from the Ravens.
  17. KC produced significantly more offense against the elite Broncos defense than the Ravens did. KC Oline produced running lanes for Charles, Baltimore's didn't do the same for Forsett. Although KC gave up more sacks, there were times Smith did have ample protection to produce in the passing game whereas Flacco seemingly was under duress every drop back. Amazingly, Jah Reid played well. He was much better than any of the Raven tackles. The new environment is doing him well. Meanwhile the Ravens offense wallows dead last in the NFL largely attributed to the Oline and WR play. The Ravens offense must produce something regardless of whether the opposing defense is elite or not. KC was able to do so. Ravens should be able as well. Hope Trestman gets this figured out quick.
  18. And both times the Ravens kept Manning from the end zone the Ravens lost. So, from a team perspective it didn't matter since the offense was inept those two games, not scoring enough points to overcome what Manning and his team's produced.
  19. What could Trestman have done to help Joe and slow down the Denver pass rush? Have the TEs or RBs at least chip the DEs and release on short routes. Also, put Joe in the shotgun. Rub routes or some route scheming might have worked. Ravens simply rely on WRs to beat their man one on one. From what I saw Trestman made no adjustments at all during the game which seems to be par for the course for Ravens OC. A disappointing loss since the Ravens had a chance to win. The WRs turned out to be the UDFAs they are and SSS, oh my, played his age. Would have liked to see Waller given a shot and more of Camp. When Aiken isn't getting it done, try someone else, anyone. Trestman and Harbaugh should use the entire roster when starters are failing.
  20. This is excellent analysis. When will the Ravens get a creative OC? Only 1 game for Trestman but geez it was bad.
  21. The Good - Defense. Have to give Pees high praise. The Bad - Trestman. Not a convincing debut at all. The Ugly - WRs The Uglier - SSS drops game winner. The Ugliest - Suggs achilles, lost for the season. Could it be a career ender?
