  1. Seriously? Is everyone going to keep posting about Trawick's hit on Jacoby? Wow, one hit really does screw up your life. I don't know anything about the kid apart from the fact that he has multiple pages of comments worth of hitting Jacoby Jones in 80% of the comments.

I was one of those people when it happened too, especially when I had just been lamenting the release of Bobby Rainey since we didn't have a viable backup returner behind Jacoby while Deonte and Asa were out. It's well in the past and most are actually over it but its unfortunately a stigma he will carry with him until he does something more notable. Hopefully he can accomplish that this year.

I know what you mean. And it really didn't look good and is the only thing I remember about him too. I just find it pointless to post a comment trying to be funny about it on a page, if there are 20 other looking the same. It irks me for two reasons - I read the comments to find something interesting or trivia I didn't know or somebody else's opinion so that I learn something new. Filtering the hate is a pain. Second thing is - I don't mind if people mention it in passing, aft...

  2. Get Clark as FS and draft one.
  3. There was no salary space last year, so even the relative salaries don't matter. We could afford Steve Smith now, so why not? He can mentor our younger WRs such as Marlon Brown and Aaron Mellette (plus maybe a drafted rookie) and he can play. From what I understand of what has been shared on this site, Ravens are aware all along that Q was a huge loss, but they just could not keep him for the money they had to offer. What would you have them do? Stop crying over spilled milk and move on. We have a season ahead of us.
  4. I love Jacoby Jones pressers. Oh wait, I probably love Jacoby Jones. He's a charmer :D And love that he chose Baltimore over money. Really appreciated. Bobby Engram made a good impression too. Hope he can maintain it once game day comes along.

I agree I did not realize Engram was so young .

I didn't know Engram at all before, but yes, it surprised me how young he looks.

  5. I didn't know it would make me this ecstatic either. But it did We get to keep the explosive, super fast player who can play on the offense and special teams, the guy who can get points on our scoreboard and on top of that a charming dude with a sense of humor and a very likable character.
  6. That's cheaper than reported estimates. Sounds good to me.
  7. I'm glad there are efforts to keep Jacoby Jones. Means that at least on the special teams, we will be able to get some points.
  8. Day 3 in NJ, so far in Hilton right across from MetLife stadium... how I wish that was AT&T!

Lol, I know. Not bad. Good access to New York City, Atlantic City and not bad to Baltimore either! Might check out Boston too while I'm at it. Have a friend living in Pittsburgh, but not sure there is anything I want to see. ....And I can go watch Ravens when they play Jets or Giants easily!

  9. First thing Monday morning, I am moving from Prague in Czech Republic to New Jersey in the US. Scared and excited at the same time. Baltimore won't be too far though! :)

  10. Real happy for Jim Caldwell. He's a good dude and Detroit Lions have a good team to work with. I'm sure he'll prosper there. On the other hand, I'm also happy for us in a way. Maybe a little change can do us well in the offense. More curious than anything else.

I don't think the detroit job is good no matter how talent they have every year they end up being mediocre. Respect to caldwell but he had an ideal colts team and couldn't win the big one with them after dungy left him a great team.

I agree. Detroit needs character and consistency more than anything - that's Caldwell. I'm also anxious/excited for us, it means change.

Detroit forum is exploded with fury after hearing Caldwell as their HC...

  11. Today it's an I LOVE YOU JOE! Wow. Just wow. That 21 yard scramble? He's my guy. And keeping it cool in the last minute of the game and winning it for us (with Marlon Brown of course!), that's admirable.

  12. How do you know you've failed as a woman? When your bf talks about A gaps, veer, blocking, zones etc and you're following alright. And then there was something something, kitchen, something, oven, something, 190°C, blah blah and you have no clue what he's trying to say :D :D :D

Mr. Nobody - I do. I played soccer for years. It's not that complicated. I can kick penalties too. Tried to kick the football last night with my first special teams practice and that seemed to work ok (shoot straight and up) too :)

  13. I'm back from scrimmage in Hungary. In the end, we lost 6:0 in third overtime, but altogether, it was a good game for us, second ever game played against another girls' team. Our defense was beyond fantastic, outperforming everyone on the field. Our offense was struggling some, but there were moments to be proud of and our passing game improved. I played LG and DT and was way better than in Germany. Altogether it was a 16 hour round bus trip, but totally worth it!

Wow, 16 hours on a bus, PLUS playing a game..............thats commitment. Sorry you didn't get the win, but I applaud your tenacity.

  14. Working hard coming off injury. Ankle and Achilles looking good, elbow not so much, but it'll do. Offence training done Monday, team training completed yesterday and hardcore training today a success :) I'll get myself in shape for scrimmage with Munich next Saturday, whatever it takes!

  15. Damn, that was a tough one to watch. I've abused the screen plenty throughout the game and thought I'm about to have a heart-attack with the punt return for TD until "Out of Bounds" was announced. In the end, it didn't make a difference though :(

Let's see if I can be the next Notre Dame. I was telling my friends, that with the way Ravens are going, we are going to lose to 1-5 Steelers and then win twice against the Bengals. Lets see if I can be right...

  16. Looking forward to the next game. I'm excited about what we have here and want to see how Monroe fares on the field. Apart from that, I'm just really looking to get back on the field myself. Had a sprained ankle, but have got to practice for scrimmage with Hungarian girls and German girls.
