  1. Who was happy about Schaub, lol? I remember pretty much everyone thinking it was a ridiculous expenditure of $2M

got bombarded with posts stating "schaub will help flacco with the west coast offense, hes a solid veteran with experience and will contribute to making flacco and the offense better"

it was so adorable and lol worthy

  2. i remember after the schaub signing i was extremely critical about it and broke down why it was possibly the worst free agency move over the offseason, yet mostly everyone on here praised the beginning of his new era here in baltimore backing up flacco.

man, why am i always so right about everything?

  3. its so blatantly obvious that 85-90% of the problems this year even up to this game tonight has been the defense. it seemed to slip away from national attention because of the lack of NFL fan interest and 2nd/3rd string QB's starting, but we still had most our starters on defense and STILL looked completely awful.. blown coverage's, missed tackles, etc.

if we dont fire dean pees after this season then i will lose much respect for bisciotti and this organization. its just inexcusable.

  4. this sticker idea may seem silly, but john harbaugh is WAY smarter than the average fan and most people on this board. and for a bunch of fans to knee jerk without knowing anything behind closed doors and say its a childish idea is simply foolish.

who knows what the reason for it is, theres tons of ideas. as someone mentioned before it could be ways to motivate players to get a rest for a half day or go home early. it may be an underlying scheme to further evaluate and see whos worth keeping around and hes masking it with a harmless sticker tactic. its an innocent way of harbaugh saying "ok guys you are under the microscope now, you arent just playing for wins, you are playing for your job". guarantee harbaugh has bigger plans then we think and heads are going to roll after this season, just watch.

biscotti and harbaugh are much closer in communication then we think. harbaugh is biscottis guy, biscotti personally invested in him.. unlike billick who was already here. Stuff going down soon just watch, fellas.

  5. i think gurley will have a big first half, the rams will be up on us in points and it'll look dark and depressing as usual. but 2nd half we contain gurley and kennum plays like a 2nd string, then our offense finds some stride and puts up points.

it will be a close game well into the 4th quarter as usual. really is a toss up.

  6. you best believe biscotti is watching this team under a microscope, mainly the personnel.

im sure hes been having one on one meetings behind closed doors with different personnel each week this season and dissecting their role with the team.

hes doing work no doubt. we'll find out after seasons end, hes got things planned. no way this team goes 3-13 or 4-12 (which we can all agree will happen at this rate) and absolutely nothing happens this offseason. hes going to be a busy dude.

  7. I hope Perriman plays next season too I want Givens to stay too. Next year I want the WR's to have to earn their roster spots I really think some of the guys were just handed their spots on the roster.

We had probably the most competitive WR battle at training camp this season than most other teams. we just didnt have much talent in the competition outside of SSS.

  8. Someone said earlier that a loss today (before that disastrous last play even happened) could finally begin the downward spiral into blowout losses. Looks like that could definitely happen.

Ross and Jackson should be cut. Saying Dumervil should be benched isn't that much of a stretch, either.

ive been saying this for weeks. this team is teetering off the edge, any week now it will start to get really ugly. sooner than later.

i honestly think we will be lucky to go 4-12 this year. most likely 3-13.

just an ugly, ugly team this year.

  9. One of the biggest reasons for preseason is for guys like Chuck Jacobs (who????) to show what they can do in game situations against actual competition rather than drills. Yes, that "competition" typically sucks, but the focal point is the individuals' efforts and what they show on the field. Think of it as more formal tryouts for unknown or unproven players...that's why many starting positions are won and lost in the preseason (example: Tyrod certainly wouldn't have been given the keys to Buffalo's offense without taking him out for a test drive in the preseason first)

yes, yes we all understand the useless preseason. but to use it as a source isnt credible.
