  1. ill be very surprised if no one is fired by monday afternoon
  2. i didnt post anything about riots. baltimore has been a dangerous city for decades before the riots even happened. that was just icing on cake. sure baltimore has its decent spots like any city, but look at the broad picture. its a cesspool compared to most cities. and my post was comparing it to new zealand. theres no comparison there.. but nice try.
  3. actually no, thats not it. there are MANY bad nfl teams that sell out stadiums. its all about location and demographics. the colder and more blue collar the city, the more it will sell. san diego has been good for many years now and they black out almost every other week. the only chance they have at selling tickets is when a team like the cowboys or the patriots come to town. same with jacksonville.
  4. simple answer to thread title: no
  5. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ our offense is atrocious. the only way we put up more than 40points is if we get some pick sixes
  6. o i see. i hear new zealand is a delightful country. at least you have scenery. baltimore is just graffiti and abandoned buildings. live ravens games are fun every once in a while, so im sure it would be a fun tourist attraction especially right next to the inner harbor. i honestly dont understand why people go to every single live game though, seems like a hassle and 80,000+ seats is a a lot to fill. although i think M & T bank stadium does pretty good. stadiums in jacksonville and san diego struggle because everyone is at the beach surfing.
  7. do you live out of the country or something? its not that hard
  8. he also likes to swat flies while in coverage
  9. nothing better than rewinding and re-watching a successful run play develop at the line of scrimmage in slow-mo.
  10. i believe webb and givens
  11. dont get me wrong, he can throw the ball deep. but with the weapons he has at the moment, flacco needs to make smarter decisions. his turnover ratio is through the roof. mentioned it himself earlier this week
  12. ^^^^^^^^^^^^ every time he winds up for a big throw its basically 50/50 chance it gets intercepted or extremely close. it urks the hell out of me. pretty much the only thing that gets under my skin during a game. id rather him just play conservative than have the huge arm everyone yearns for.
  13. i honestly think this game comes down to the wire. we have too many key players injured and we already arent that good as is. if we just play sound football without turning the ball over we can squeeze out another sloppy win. ravens 19 browns 17
  14. im with you. these days with technology and a great big tv set up and the ability to rewind and slow-mo plays and fast forward commercials. and nice comfortable couch with a refrigerator filled with cold beer. and a nice clean personal bathroom with no lines. live games are increasingly losing their appeal imo.
  15. tyler lockett and chris givens are two completely different types of receivers
  16. I mentioned this before in this thread.. steve smith and golden tate are two completely different personalities SSS is one hard dude and tate is not. tate will not bring "personality" to this team that will benefit Edit: for example, when we went 0-3 SSS said they need to be grown men and step up their game. Golden tate is 0-4 and he's complaining to the press and others that he doesnt get the ball. big difference
  17. apples and oranges. steve is one tough guy with heart and is loyal to the organization. he may come off brash to some in the locker room only because he pushes players, which is what we need here in bmore. golden tate is the contrary. hes a priss with the "my way or highway" attitude. he doesnt belong here. keep em away.
  18. stay away from golden tate. ive read stories that hes not a locker room type we want around.
  19. when i watched the lions and seahawks game, thats the only thing i could think about. horrible team with losing record, with an aging yet still elite WR that could obviously excel with the right team. the lions could very well be trading off players to rebuild toward seasons end. why not start now? some people may think its too far fetched but with the right negotiating skills, I think we could very well have a chance at snatching CJ whether its this season or next. i can see it happening. if he keeps playing mediocre like he has this season i dont see him costing an arm and a leg. really isnt a pipe dream if you think about it.
  20. before the season started, 90% of the people on this board and a very small amount of sports analysts said the complete opposite of your post. people swore up and down the ravens were the most "all around" team in the league and had great depth to make a super bowl run. i was regularly stating the opposite that both our pass rush and secondary were still lacking depth. and was also skeptic about our running game. these first 4 games have completely proved my point. three of our biggest weaknesses.
  21. really not that big of a deal. hes done many times in the past. people need to relax.
  22. last draft i can legitimately remember being excited about and actually looking forward to seeing the players on the field was 2008. i also got more excited than usual after this years draft because of the early offensive moves, but obviously its going to be yet another letdown. we need to make some super behind the scene staff changes after this season. no way this team goes better than 7-9 or 8-8 this year. and people seem to forget how bad we played during some parts of the 2014 season and got extremely lucky at the end by limping into the playoffs due to a ugly win against the browns and KC beating SD. theres really no excuse for our inconsistent and poor execution over the past couple seasons after winning a SB and purging half the team.
  23. if torrey left because of the ray rice situation then all i have to say to him is dont let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. and take whoever agrees else with you
  24. yeah youre right. lets just spend next to nothing on some no name WR that has played in the league for a few years and got benched, and we'll continue to have an awful offense. good strat.
  25. he'll go wherever the money is
