  1. yup. i picked him up in draft kings. hes cheap and will most likely run/ pass all over our crippled defense.
  2. ya know.. all this "fire dean pees" talk really is deviating from the fact that trestman is downright awful.
  3. we wouldnt get squat for any of our TE's lol
  4. nah. his numbers this week will be something like 4 rec for 37 yds boldin will prob be 8 rec 117 yds and 2 td
  5. ^^^ yup. the reason they are 2-3 is because kam chancellor didn't play the first 2 weeks and beast mode has been injured. wilson is not elite when the game is on his shoulders. people need to understand scenarios before they just throw names out there.
  6. so far as the magnitude of the trade deals, only insiders know that. but anyone with common sense will tell you that trade deals are there but ozzie does not trade draft picks.. and we can risk a few comp picks for a solid, proven player.
  7. thats everywhere man. die hard sports fans, political fanatics, etc. the knee jerk reaction is more loud and hysterical which gives the illusion they are abundant. when in reality the exact opposite is true, because their tone and volume masks the small population.
  8. no doubt ozzie has made some clutch short term fixes via free agency in the past, but my point is that strategy is starting to catch up with him. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt due to the injuries, but he could've been more aggressive with talent replacement at certain positions. the amount of talent obtained compared to lost over the past couple seasons hasnt been nearly enough to stay afloat. the 80/20 philosophy is great but you have to know which position holds the largest constraint relative to the value. i knew from the day kyle arrington and kendrick lewis were signed they would not be the answer. i was surprised our organization were satisfied with our free agency moves going into the season. even up to week 6, it seems they keep putting band aids on the secondary while completely bypassing our pass rush situation. no doubt the cap was against us but we couldve still made some trades and a bit more aggressive in the free agent process. we failed miserably with snatching pass rush talent. you cant go into a season with two 30+ year old pass rushers and expect a rookie 4th round pick to be the answer for depth. that was the most important position to add depth and it was simply ignored. we have to start at the line on both sides of the ball before we fix anything else.
  9. dont forget MICHAEL JACKSON. dude was a beast. but boldin leaving def hurt us. that would be downright silly to say it didnt.
  10. how are jernigan and brooks "ace" picks? both players have been under performing
  11. ^^^^ this. if a team gets 2 solid starters out of a draft thats considered a successful draft. if you disagree, look no further then patriots, packers, etc draft history. ozzie is great at drafting, and a lot of people dont realize how much de costa has a hand in the drafting process as well. what ozzie usually struggles with is free agency. he has the right mindset when it comes to value, but fails to pick up the right players. if management is going to wait last minute for price dips, they better know who is worth snatching so late in the process. this, in my opinion, is where he rolls the dice and his luck is now running out.
  12. i disagree about the cardinals. they are overrated. not saying they arent a good team, but no better than the bengals or the broncos.. and both those games were competitive. actually bengals are a much better team tbh. dont think being in arizona will change the outcome either because its a dome. we usually play well in domes. ravens have more chance getting blown out by the chargers at home.
  13. week 2 oakland loss
  14. mosley is still one of the better ilbs in the league and i still love this pick in 2014. sure hes been struggling with pass coverage but it has mostly to do with the overall defense failing with the schemes, execution, pass rush, etc. hes just one man. a great comparison is luke kuechly. dude knows where to be and has a motor but when the whole defense struggles, youll see him struggle as well in coverage. i will admit tho, mosely got JUKED by andy dalton a couple weeks ago. if we decide to enter a massive rebuilding phase after this season, mosley is one of the few players im keeping.
  15. upshaw is definitely a bust. ive been saying that for years. hes just a waste of space on the field. didnt even like the draft pick when it happened. ozzie traded out of the first round like he always does and i was so damn pissed.
  16. damn 3 game losing streak at the bank?? thats brutal man it would be pretty cool if we pulled a major upset by knocking a team out of the playoff hunt this year. one of those home games could very well do it. chiefs will probably be out of the hunt anyway after losing jamaal charles, but seahawks and steelers will definitely be in the mix for the wild card late in the season. would be great to put the dagger in the heart of both teams, specifically the steelers.
  17. im not comparing perriman to ODBjr whatsoever simply because theres no comparison, but this season may pan out very similar to the giants 2014 season. absolute atrocious play on both sides of the ball until about week 13 or 14, then start running the table with the 3 home games due to perriman returning healthy with couple weeks of adjusting under his belt after the bye. yes the ravens are a bad team, but we stayed competitive in every game so far and it has A LOT to do with our players having heart and persistence (joe has been joe cool to the max every game i must add), but simply lack that spark from playmakers that will put us pass the burden. once we get an offensive playmaker on the field and get some deep balls downfield and stretch defenses, we'll finally start pulling off some promising wins.. but unfortunately too late in the season. atleast it'll build confidence going into the offseason, making the draft and free agency a tad more more exciting for fans and the organization. overall record prediction: 6-10
  18. ^^^^^^ very true. harbaugh did inherit a HUGE asset in that defense. as the talent got too hot to handle, him and ozzie let them leave gradually each year to the point we're at now. and they simply failed to replace said talent. it will be interesting to see how harbaugh copes after this atrocious season, considering hes faced all the other scenarios but this is easily the biggest one. a team with an awful record and no talent and a HUGE reputation of being among the best in the league. it truly is one of his final tests as a HC. will he continue to succeed? only time till tell.
  19. if i played football in college, would definitely consider this. they are so desperate lol
  20. thats like being the tallest person in a room full of midgets
  21. our team is becoming a bunch of no-name practice squad players and people off the street
  22. damn. and i liked taliaferro
  23. and no one wants to see schaub throwing to perriman when he finally plays. we want to see perriman develop with flacco. benching flacco is such a bad idea lol
  24. benching starting QBs because the team is losing is completely detrimental to the league and the sport, and possibly the silliest thing ive read on this board in a while. tanking on purpose is silly enough, but benching your star players because youre losing??? holy lol these guys play to win sure, but they mainly play because its their job. they are getting paid millions of dollars. if youre having a bad day at the office or your shop isnt producing well, you aren't going to close it up and hope business picks back up. no, youre going to work extra hard and find the constraint and fix it. on top of that. if teams pulled their starting QB because of losing seasons, the NFL would lose viewership by the millions and lose massive amounts of revenue. on top of losing integrity, bad judgment, giving a giant middle finger to your fans, among many other reasons, its just not the way to do business.
  25. not true at all. maybe some people on this board because they are extremely knee jerk, but the majority of fans (and the team itself), both dont want flacco benched no matter the record, and wouldnt "call for heads" if he got injured, its just the way the game is played.
